Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis report teks bahasa Inggris melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping pada mahasiswa semester II program studi PGSD, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Flores. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan cara observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis report teks dalam bahasa Inggris melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran mind mapping mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat mulai dari pra-siklus dengan rata-rata sebesar 36 dengan kategori “rendah”, siklus I meningkat menjadi 55 masih pada kategori “rendah”, dan pada siklus II rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks report bahasa Inggris meningkat menjadi 77 dengan kategori “baik”.

Abstract

Tujuan penlitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa PGSD Uniflor melalui permainan ular tangga berbasis cerita rakyat Ende Lio. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang melalui tahapan persiapan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Setelah diterapkan permainan ular tangga berbasis cerita rakyat Ende-Lio dalam dua siklus, di temukan adanya peningkatan kosa kata bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Flores

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan menyimak peserta didik kelas IV SDK Ende 3 setelah diterapkan cerita rakyat asal Ende NTT, yakni Ine Pare dengan menggunakan metode Role Playing. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan cerita rakyat Ine Pare berbantuan Role Playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak. Abstract

The study of the quality profile of plantation excellent commodity in Ende Regency (hazelnut commodity) is to provide information about the degree composition of water and fat on hazelnut commodity in Ende Regency. Hazelnut commodity profile benefits for the provision of trade opportunity information and the investment of hazelnut cultivation to both foreign and domestic investors, as well as business persons, in order to boost the investment growth in Ende Regency. This study was conducted in the Agriculture Technology Laboratory of the Udayana University of Denpasar. The presentation of hazelnut commodity profile in EndeRegency of East Nusa Tenggara Province apparently reveals that this region has great potential to be further developed viewed from the quality content aspect.

Abstract

A study entitled “Isolation and Identification of Mycotoxin-producing Fungi on Cocoa Beans Produced in Flores and Lembata” was done in order to know the population and species of fungi and to know the concentration of mycotoxin in the dried cocoa beans. The dry cocoa beans used in this study were collected from several locations in Flores. Isolation of the fungi was done using Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA). Results of this study showed that there were several fungi were found in the dried cocoa beans produced in Flores, namely Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, A. parasiticus, A. fumigatusandMucor sp.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the composition of water and fat contents in coconut commodity in Ende Regency. Coconut commodity profile is useful as the information on business opportunities and investment of coconut commodity cultivation to both foreign and domestic investors as well as the business community so as to spur the growth of investment in Ende. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Agricultural Technology at Udayana University, Denpasar. From the aspect of quality content on coconut commodity profile in Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, it is clear that this area has great potential to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the impact of planting distance on the growth and yield of Pak Choy and determining the optimal distance that can optimize the growth and yield of Pak Choi. This study employed group random design with 6 treatments of planting distance, namelyJ1 = 20 cm x 25 cm, J2 = 20 cm x 20 cm, J3 = Planting distance 20 cm x 15 cm, J4 = Planting distance 20 cm x 10 cm, J5 = 10 cm x 15 cm, J6 = 10 cm x 10 cm.Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that there were 24 specimen garden-beds. It is found out that planting distance did not have any impact on plant height, the width of leaves, and numbers of leaves at age of 10–20 days after planting, whereas there was an impact on plant age of 25–35 days after planting on plant height of 15.59 cm, a number of leaves of 9.17 cm, the width of leaves of 52.28 cm and fresh Pak Choy weight of 148.4g per plant, fresh weight per ha 1204.43 ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri Mautenda. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris melalui running dictation pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri Mautenda Kecamatan Wewaria, Kabupaten Ende. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan selama dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri Mautenda yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar melalui running dictation mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I dengan rata-rata sebesar 58% meningkat menjadi 77,14% pada siklus II. Meningkatnya aktivitas belajar berpengaruh pada meningkatnya hasil belajar. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 64 meningkat menjadi 78 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan running dictation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris. Abstract

This research aims: (1) to know how to implement natural science learning with demonstration method in grade III children in SDI Tetandara, Ende District. (2) To find out the improvement of natural sciences through demonstration methods in grade III students at SDI Tetandara, Ende District. The type of research used is class action research (CAR) and the subject in the study was a grade III student in SDI Tetandara which amounted to 20 people. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests, documentation and interviews. Data is analyzed descriptively by calculating the average and percentage of the submission in each cycle. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results shows that the use of demonstration methods has an influence on the outcome of learning natural sciences, on material objects. This is evident from the teacher's ability to manage student learning outcomes in the learning process. Visible from the Pretest result with an average value obtained value of 48. Then, the student's value increased from the cycle I study results showed the average grade III value was 57 and was in the category enough and the percentage was 35%. In Cycle II Learning, the results gained increased by the percentage of the compensation reached 100% with the average value gained 84.5. This value indicates an increase in the results gained on cycle learning I. These results show that demonstration methods can improve the results of natural Science study on students in class III in SDI Tetandara District of Ende.

Abstract

This study aims to increase study activities in elementary school English courses through the use of the Jigsaw learning models in the third semester students of Flores University PGSD study program. This research is a class action research that uses the Kemmis & Taggart model. The subject in this study was 35 third semester students. Data collection techniques are performed by observation and documentation. Data is analyzed in a qualitative descriptive way. The results showed that learning activities in elementary school English courses through the use of Jigsaw learning models had increased. The percentage of oral activity on the first cycle increased from 48.57 with enough categories, to 77.85 with good categories on the second cycle. The listening activity on the first cycle is 52.85 with enough categories, increasing to 75.71 with good categories on the second cycle. Writing activity on the first cycle is increased from a category with a percentage of 54.28 to 90 with excellent categories on the second cycle. Percentage of mental activity increased from 57.14 by category enough to 92.85 with excellent categories on the second cycle, and emotional activity increased from 53.57 by category enough to be 85.57 with excellent categories on the second cycle. Based on the results it can be concluded that use of Jigsaw learning models can increase learning activity in elementary school English courses.
