Abstract

ABSTRAKKemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang diperlukan dalam memahami operasi bilangan. Alat peraga adalah salah satu media yang dapat menyajikan suatu konsep matematika. Dengan bantuan media alat peraga diharapkan siswa mampu menghitung operasi bilangan dengan cepat dan mudah serta paham cara menggunakannya. Media alat peraga diharapkan dapat membantu menanamkan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam belajar matematika khususnya siswa Sekolah Dasar, sehingga tidak memandang matematika itu sulit dan menakutkan. Pengabdian  ini ditempuh dalam empat tahap dengan kurun waktu  tujuh hari, sebagai berikut: tahap pertama, yaitu mengkoordinasi kegiatan penyuluhan  secara keseluruhan; kedua, menyusun  jadwal kegiatan, ketiga, menyusun tahap-tahap pembuatan alat peraga, menyusun alat evaluasi; keempat, melakukan pengabdian dilapangan, berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosialisasi dengan guru-guru SD.  Pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai wujud kepedulian pengabdi dalam bidang pendidikan matematika. Media alat peraga yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini diantaranya batang tulang napier, yang digunakan untuk operasi perkalian bilangan cacah. Alat peraga mistar bilangan, digunakan untuk operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Alat peraga batang tulang napier, dan mistar bilangan diharapkan dapat membantu pemahaman siswa dalam belajar matematika khususnya siswa Sekolah Dasar, sehingga tidak memandang matematika itu menakutkan dan membosankan.Kata Kunci: media alat peraga pembelajaran matematika, batang tulang naphier, siswa sekolah dasar ABSTRACTThe ability to understand mathematical concepts is one of the abilities needed to understand number operations. Teaching aids are one of the media that can present a mathematical concept. With the help of teaching aids, media students are expected to be able to calculate number operations quickly and easily and understand how to use them. Media teaching aids are expected to help instill an understanding of students' concepts in learning mathematics, especially elementary school students, so not looking at mathematics is difficult and frightening. This service was taken in four stages over a period of seven days, as follows: the first stage, which was to coordinate overall outreach activities; second, arrange activity schedules, third, arrange the stages of making teaching aids, arrange evaluation tools; fourth, serving in the field, participating in socialization activities with elementary school teachers. This dedication is done as a form of devotion in the field of mathematics education. Media aids used in this service include Napier bone rods, which are used for multiplication of numbers. The crossbar props, used for integer addition and subtraction operations. Napier bone trunk teaching aids and the ruler of numbers is expected to help students' understanding in learning mathematics especially elementary school students so that they do not view mathematics as scary and boring.Keywords: mathematics teaching aids media, Napier bone stem, elementary school students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar daring materi geometri SMP dengan pendekatan project based learning berbantuan software wingeom yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan (R&D), dengan 5 tahapan utama yaitu: (1) Studi pendahuluan; (2) Desain bahan ajar; (3) pengembangan (validasi ahli, ujicoba, revisi); (4) Implementasi; (5) Evaluasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMP di kota Cimahi, dengan sampel sebanyak 35 siswa kelas VII. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap mengenai materi geometri yaitu segiempat-segitiga. Aspek yang dinilai dari pengembangan bahan ajar tersebut yaitu menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran daring. Kevalidan bahan ajar dilihat dari hasil 5 validator yang mencapai kriteria valid dengan kategori sangat baik, Kepraktisan bahan ajar mencapai kriteria praktis ditinjau dari lembar kepraktisan guru dan siswa. dan keefektifan bahan ajar ditinjau dari pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa. Hasil ujicoba lapangan diperoleh hasil 82% siswa mencapai nilai KKM sehingga lebih dari 80% siswa tuntas dalam mempelajari materi segiempat dan segitiga, sehingga bahan ajar daring materi geometri SMP dengan pendekatan project based learning berbantuan software wingeom efektif digunakan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika berupa RPP dan LKS pembelajaran daring yang valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal barisan dan deret dengan menggunakan kriteria Watson. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA SMA Bina Mandiri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal materi barisan dan deret sebanyak lima soal yang telah dilakukan uji validitas, realibilitas, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukarannya. Selain itu dilakukan pula wawancara terhadap siswa yang dijadikan sampel yaitu tiga orang siswa dengan kategori rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan kriteria Watson diperoleh bahwa kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi barisan dan deret adalah kesalahan data tidak tepat, prosedur tidak tepat , data hilang, kesimpulan hilang, konflik level respon, manipulasi tidak langsung, masalah hierarki keterampilan dan kesalahan selain kriteria diatas untuk siswa S1(kategori rendah), sedangkan untuk siswa S2 (kategori sedang) adalah data tidak tepat, prosedur tidak tepat, data hilang maupun kesimpulan hilang. Adapun kesalahan yang sering dilakukan oleh siswa S3 (kategori tinggi) adalah kesimpulan hilang. Semua kriteria kesalahan Watson muncul pada siswa dalam mengerjakan soal barisan dan deret ini. Penyebab dari dilakukannya kesalahan data tidak tepat adalah ketidaktelitian siswa tersebut dalam membaca soal, kesalahan data hilang disebabkan ketergesa-gesaaan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal. Sedangkan kesalahan dalam prosedur pengerjaan dan penarikan kesimpulan ataupun masalah hierarki keterampilan dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman siswa terhadap materi barisan dan deret

Abstract

This containt of research is conducted and aimed at knowing and analyzing how difficult students experience in working on problems in class VIII statistical material. This research using a descriptive qualitative research method with learning process through a contextual approach. In this study, the subjects studied were 10 class VIII junior high students, consisting of 4 male students and 6 female students. This study used instrument test of 5 points every question of description, questions that are sequenced based on the cognitive level of bloom taxonomy. Techniques and data analysis are used by analyzing data such as data reduction, presentation of data and inferring results in research. The tests are then processed by percentage  measuring  results on every indicator with difficulty level ranging from it category is  too easy, easy, to be enough, difficult, and very difficult. Based on the results of the overall difficulty level research falls into the difficult category with a percentage result of 52%, on the problem with indicators making conclusions, making decisions from the data and designing data from the distribution given with a percentage result of 80% which belongs to the category is very difficult.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still low level of mathematical critical thinking skills of State Middle School students in Cimahi City, so a learning approach is needed to overcome these problems. Alternative approaches are applied, namely the approach to Model-Eliciting Activities. This study aims to examine the mathematical critical thinking skills of State Middle School students in Cimahi City. The method used in this study is an experimental method with research in the form of a pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all public junior high schools in the city of Cimahi randomly selected and selected SMP Negeri 10 Cimahi representing the characteristics of the population. The sample was chosen by two classes in a random class, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection in this study used a descriptive test, then the score data of the students' mathematical critical thinking skills were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using the two average difference test. Based on the results of the study, both from the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the mathematical critical thinking skills of the State Middle School students in Cimahi City whose learning using the MEAs approach are better than those using conventional learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar pada siswa MI Bani Abdul Malik Bandung Barat pada materi KPK dan FPB menggunakan apliksi visual basic excel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu pada 24 siswa kelas IV MI Bani Abdul Malik. Instrumen penelitian yang diberikan yaitu berupa angket skala motivasi belajar siswa yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan yang terdiri dari 12 pernyataan positif dan 8 pernyataan negatif dengan 4 pilihan jawaban yaitu Sangat Setuju (SS), Setuju (S), Tidak Setuju (TS), Sangat Tidak Setuju (STS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa menjawab baik dan sangat baik pada pernyataan positif dengan rata-rata yaitu mencapai 86%. Sedangkan pada pernyataan negatif, presentare rata-rata menjawab tidak setuju dan sangat tidak setuju adalah mencapai lebih dari 90% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi visual basic excel meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VI MI Bani Abdul Malik pada materi FPB dan KPK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the confidence of MI students by using ICT-based media for VBA excel on space building material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were 23 students of MI Tazkya class VI. The instrument provided consisted of a student confidence scale questionnaire consisting of 25 definitions and 4 answer choices, namely 1. Strongly Agree (SS), 2. Agree (S), 3. Disagree (TS), 4. Very Disagree (STS ). The self-confidence questionnaire related to superior VBA-based ICT media consists of 5 indicators. The results of the study that showed the confidence of MI Tazkya students by using ICT-based media for superior VBA in the overall building material were classified as good and in accordance with 4 indicators that led to a good proposal for indicators Believe in support well, were they anxious (good), indicators and had drive for achievement (good); indicator Know your strengths and weaknesses (s good). There is one indicator that falls into the criteria, which is the indicator Feel free, and is responsible for its actions (enough). And it can be seen that on average all students are included in both criteria

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning motivation of elementary students who use ICT VBA Excel learning media on flat material. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted with a sample of 22 elementary school students in West Bandung Regency. The instrument used was in the form of a student learning motivation scale questionnaire that contained 25 statements and 4 answer choices, namely 1. Very Agree (SS), 2. Agree (S), 3. Disagree (TS) and 4. Very Disagree (STS). The questionnaire used is related to Excel VBA learning media which have 6 indicators. The results showed that an elementary student learning process that uses the VBA Excel learning media on flat material overall is classified as good, there are 2 indicators that qualify very well, namely indicators of confidence in using mathematics (Very Good); Indicators can maintain opinions (very good). There is one indicator that includes good criteria, namely indicators Perseverance in doing mathematics (Good). There are 3 indicators that fall into sufficient criteria, namely Flexible indicators in doing mathematical work (Enough), indicators of Willingness to leave

Abstract

This research aim to analyzing student’s motivation in learning mathematics in FPB and KPK material assisted by Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application (VBA) learning media. In this study, the method used was a quasi experiment with percentage quantitative descriptive techniques. The population in this study were all junior high school students in West Bandung Regency with the sample used were 38 students of class VII-5 of SMPN 1 Sindangkerta. Research data collection uses a questionnaire on student motivation scale in mathematics learning aided by Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application (VBA) which contains 20 statements each of 10 positive and negative statements. The results of the analysis in this study can be concluded that there is a positive impact on students' motivation to learn mathematics with the help of Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application (VBA). This can be seen from the average percentage of answers of students who think strongly agree on a positive statement as much as 26.16%, then the response of agree produces an average of 63%, for the response of 7% disagree, while for a strongly disagree response of 3.83%.
