Abstract

This study aims to produce learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 on the curved side of solid figure material for class IX. This development model uses the model R & D, which has been modified according to the needs of the researcher into (1) problems and potential; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) validation design; (5) revision design; (6) product trial; (7) final production. The data collection technique used is a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire. Data collection instrument utilized was a validation instrument in the form of a validation sheet, and a practical instrument in the form of a student response questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis and practicality data of learning media. The results of the analysis of research validation by three validators obtained an average validation of learning media using a Likert scale of 88.56% which was included in the very valid category and the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses by 12 students to learning media obtained an average of 86,73% is included in the very practical category. The conclusion of the study shows that learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 on the curved side of solid figure material has been tested to be very valid and very practical.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan Microsoft PowerPoint berbantuan Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran kepada guru-guru MGMP matematika tingkat SMP di Kota Pekanbaru. Dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan kegiatan pengabdian, guru-guru diberikan materi dan langsung mempraktekkan pembuatan media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan Microsoft PowerPoint berbantuan Quizizz. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 42 Pekanbaru dengan jumlah peserta adalah 15 orang guru matematika se-kota Pekanbaru. Metode pelaksanaan dilaksanakan secara luring (tatap muka) yang dibagi ke dalam dua tahapan, yakni pemaparan materi dan pendampingan peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru memahami dan mampu membuat media Microsoft PowerPoint berbantuan Quizizz sehingga dapat mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran baik secara daring maupun luring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi karakter islami pada materi aritmatika sosial kelas VII yang teruji valid. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik nontes berupa angket. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE dengan tahap yang digunakan, 1) Analisis (Analysis), 2) Desain (Design), 3) Pengembangan (Development)), 4) Evaluasi (Evaluation). Hasil analisis validasi untuk penelitian oleh tiga validator diperoleh rata-rata validasi per-RPP dari setiap validator sebesar 100% untuk aspek identitas mata pelajaran dan komponen RPP menggunakan skala Guttman dan 86,81% untuk aspek indikator dan perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, model pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran dan bahasa menggunakan skala likert yang keduanya dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Rata-rata validasi per-LKPD dari setiap validator sebesar 91,67% untuk aspek kelengkapan format LKPD menggunakan skala Guttman dengan kriteria “sangat valid” dan 73,56% untuk aspek kelayakan isi LKPD dan kelayakan penyajian menggunakan skala likert dengan kriteria “valid”. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi karakter islami pada materi aritmatika sosial kelas VII MTs Al-Muttaqin Pekanbaru telah teruji kevalidannya

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar Statistika Pendidikan I (Deskriptif) untuk mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Islam Riau. Dengan menyajikan bahan ajar modul dengan bahasa yang sederhana diharapkan dapat membuat mahasiswa termotivasi dalam belajar statistika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Pengembangan bahan ajar modul ini terdiri dari 5 tahap rancangan pengembangan. Tahap pertama adalah analisis kebutuhan, tahap kedua membuat rancangan/desain, tahap ketiga pengembangan bahan ajar modul statistika pendidikan I (Deskriptif) dengan memvalidasi media yang dikembangkan, tahap keempat adalah implementasi dengan mencobakan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan, dan tahapan terakhir adalah evaluasi terhadap modul yang dikembangkan. Dalam penelitian ini tahapan yang akan dilakukan sampai tahap validasi modul dan mengambil respon mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian dan pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran dan angket respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ajar Statistika Pendidikan 1 (Deskriptif) yang telah dikembangkan. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menganalisis lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran dan menganalisis respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ajar Statistika Pendidikan 1 (Deskriptif) yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi buku ajar Statistika Pendidikan 1 (Deskriptif) yaitu 78% dengan kriteria valid dan kualifikasi baik. Hasil respon mahasiswa menunjukkan respon positif dengan respon terhadap buku ajar ini. Respon yang diberikan dari 69 mahasiswa yaitu 39,7% menyatakan sangat setuju dan 60% setuju dengan adanya buku ajar Statistika Pendidikan 1 (Deskriptif).

Abstract

The use of learning module aimed to help students study independently without or with the guidance of the lecturer. This module was made due to the lack of teaching materials as a learning guide that meets the needs of students in ICT-based Mathematics learning courses in the form of LKM, modules or textbooks. This study aimed to find out and examine more in students' responses to the use of ICT-based Mathematics learning modules. This type of research was case study research. The subject of the study was the 2018/2019 even semester students in ICT-based Mathematics learning courses with 23 students. The instrument used was in the form of a student response questionnaire, comment sheets and suggestions. Data collection techniques used Google Form. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that students' responses to the ICT-based Mathematics learning module as a whole were positive with an average value in the material aspects, the module interest aspects and in the module aspects respectively by 92.43%, 87 % and 93.16%. Thus it can be concluded that the ICT-based Mathematics learning module can be implemented

Abstract

The activities of the Community aims to increase the knowledge and abilities of Al-Fikri Middle School teachers in the Marpoyan Damai sub-district in the Use of Formating Cells and Modifiying Cells in Microsoft Exel. It is expected that the teachers of Pekanbaru Fikri Middle School can improve their knowledge, abilities and interests in the Use of Formating Cells and Modifiying Cells in Microsoft Exel for both learning and school administration needs. This service was carried out at AL-Fikri Middle School, having its address at Jalan Merak No. 1 Tangkerang Tengah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru in the odd semester of TP. 2018/2019. Service methods in the form of lectures, questions and answers and mentoring. The benefits of this activity for mathematics teachers at Al Fikri Pekanbaru Middle School who participated as trainees, can improve their knowledge, abilities and interests in utilizing Microsoft Excel in an effort to improve their pedagogical and professional competencies.

Abstract

The Development of technology that is increasingly advanced encourages the creation of innovation in learning. These forms of innovation that like learning media, one of that is mobile learning aplication. This aplication can used as a support in the learning procces. In this research aims to show at respon of students on used mobile learning aplication in mathematics learning on material of calculus II in mathematics education departement FKIP Islamic University of Riau. Forms of this research is descriptive research that doing on even semester on learning year 2017/2018. Instrument of this research is questionnaire sheet, with data collection technique used sheet of respon use mobile learning aplication. Analysis of data in this research was carried out by analysis descriptive of questionnaire given. Result of this research showed good respon because based of result of questionaire given obtained 75,10% give positive respon. This mobile learning aplication still needs more development based respon given of students.

Abstract

. The purpose of this research is to give information to educators and students that the use of modules accompanied by IT can make learning more effective. Furthemore, the purpose of using the integral calculus module through mobile learning is to be able to change the way students learn, make it easier for students to understand integral concepts, be able to study anywhere and without lecturers, change the smartphone function from just playing social media to learning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study through in-depth observation and interviews. The mathematics module is a reference that can facilitate students in learning. Integral calculus for one of the courses that require modules to make learning easier and more enjoyable. Moreover, the module is juxtaposed with mobile learning. Modules are designed by lecturers who teach based on their experience while teaching, so that the language, content, sentence modules that are paired by mobile learning are more favored by students and can follow the speed of their mathematics learning. Therefore, educators can use modules and mobile learning applications in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with Problem Based Learning (PBL) oriented Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability which has been tested for validity. The type of research used is Development Research using a modified ADDIE development model, namely the Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation stages. Instruments and data collection techniques are in RPP and LKPD validation sheets by validating learning tools by 2 Mathematics Education Lecturers, FKIP UIR, and 2 Mathematics Subject Teachers. The data analysis technique used is data analysis of the validation results of learning devices using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the results of the RPP validity for each aspect were 84.13%, with a very valid validity level. Each validator was 84.84%, with a very valid validity level. In comparison, the LKPD validity results for each aspect were 84.59%, with a very valid validity level, and each validator is 84.42% with a very valid validity level. Based on the results of the development of these learning tools, a Learning Device with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model oriented to Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills on Quadrangular Material has been tested for validity

Abstract

National Research Council mengembangkan konsep Mathematical Proficiency dalam lima strands yaitu: Conceptual Understanding, Procedural Fluency, Strategics competence, Adaptive Reasoning, and Productive Disposition. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk menganalis pengembangan mathematics proficiency dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Adapun tahapan SLR dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Mengembangkan pertanyaan penelitian; 2) Mendesain kerangka konseptual; 3) Membuat kriteria seleksi; 4) Mengembangkan strategi sencarian; 5) Menseleksi kajian berdasarkan kriteria seleksi; 6) Mengkode kajian; 7) Menentukan kualitas kajian; 8) Mensintensis hasil kajian; 9) Melaporkaan temuan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 10 artikel yang paling relevan dari 102 artikel yang ditemukan menggunakan aplikasi publish and perish. Artikel-artikel yang dikaji merupakan artikel-artikel dari jurnal internasional yang terindeks scopus. Artikel diambil dari tahun 2010 sampai 2022. Kemampuan mathematical proficiency dapat dikembangkan dengan bantuan guru/pendidik melalui beberapa cara, antara lain: 1) memilih strategi pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai karakteristik peserta didik; 2) mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran; 3) menyiapkan soal-soal yang dapat mengembangkan proses berpikir matematis sehingga mengembangkan kecakapan matematis siswa ; 4) meningkatkan kompetensi seorang guru melalui seminar, pelatihan dan lainnya; 5) memberikan tantangan bagi siswa dalam belajar matematika.
