Abstract

This research aims to find out the picturization of student skills on verbally presenting story of history by using storytelling technics. This research processed by the descriptive quantitative data to picturised the condition based on field data. The subject of this research were 22 students of XI social class in Senior High school 3 Painan. Research instrument in the form of skill assessment rubric using rating scale, and data processing were statistic deskriptive. The result of the research of student skills on verbally presenting story of history by using storytelling technics in Senior High School 3 Painan are : (1) storytelling is usefull on learning history comprehension that are fact, concept, causality, and contiunity of history; 2) storytelling accomodate student oral skill and student ability to create a story that represent the event of history; and (3) storytelling need a long prepared time too make sure student readiness to telling the story. It is because student should do a lot of thing to create the story, the material of story and also their readiness to perform.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the initial findings of researchers related to the low student learning outcomes and the weaknesses of the learning model applied by history subject teachers at SMA N 1 Gunung Talang, this is seen from the lack of mastery of student material. That is caused by the learning methods used by teachers are less effective. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes of the two learning models applied to different classes, namely the Student Teams-Achievement Achievement Division (STAD) and Course Review Horay (CRH) learning models on history subjects at SMA N 1 Gunung Talang. This study used an experimental method with a postest only control design. The population in this study were students of Class XI of SMA N 1 Gunung Talang, the sample of this study was Class XI IPS 3 as an STAD class I and Class XI IPS 4 as an CRH class. Data collection was carried out by means of posttest using 13 items of objective questions. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (t test)). Based on the results of the study, the STAD class grade score obtained by the Student Teams-Achievements Division (STAD) learning model was 78,96 with a standard deviation of 13,88 and the average in the CRH class with the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model was 70,52 with a standard deviation of 16,68. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test (t-test) at the real level α = 0.05, obtained tcount = 2,19 and ttable = 2,000 so tcount> ttable, then the Ha hypothesis in this study was accepted and rejected Ho. It can be concluded that the learning model of Student Tem-Achievements Division (STAD) and Course Review Horay (CRH) influences student learning outcomes and mastery of student material in history subjects at SMA N 1 Gunung Talang in the 2019/2020 school year

Abstract

This research is motivated because discussion activities have often been carried out on historical subjects, but there are still some discussion steps that are not in accordance with theoretical discussion areas. This study aims to find out more fully the implementation of discussion activities on a scientific approach in learning history both in terms of quantity and quality. This study uses an evaluative method with qualitative research types. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi class XI IPS 1, XI IPS2, and XI IPS 3. Data collection in this study by observation and interview. Data processing using interactive analysis techniques. The results of this study stated that the discussion activities in general had been carried out by teachers well, only that there were some things that were not ideal, including:1) the teacher does not always convery the learning objectives. 2) the teacher uses only one type of discussion. 3) no students express their opinions and ideas. This is caused by several faktors, including forgetfulness, time, and less varied learning methods.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the field trip method by history subject teacher in Bukittinggi Senior High School, but there are still some steps in the field trip that are not yet in line with the theoretical field trip steps. This study aims to determine the appropriateness of the implementation of the field trip method carried out at Bukittinggi Senior high school by the history teacher with the theoretical field trip method steps. The subject of this research is the history teacher at Bukittinggi Senior High School. The method used in this study is an evaluative method with type of qualitative research. The results showed that in general the steps of the field trip had been carried out by the teacher well, but there weresome things that were not ideal, including : 1) the teacher had not clearly stated the purpose of the field trip method, this was related with conceptual skills not maximal from the teacher. 2) the teacher has not involved the child in determining the object of the field trip in the PjBL, This is caused by human skill factors that are applied by the teacher is still not optimal.

Abstract

This study discusses students' perceptions of the history library at Adabiah Padang High School. The purpose of this study was conducted, namely to determine the percentage of students who have a positive impression of the function of library history and the intensity of student perceptions on each item of library function. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were all students of class X, XI, and XII of Adabiah Padang high school in 2019/2020. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to 86 students. In this study, researchers focused more on how to utilize libraries based on library functions, namely the educational function, informative function, recreational function, and research function. From the results of research conducted using the TCR formula that each library function is classified as good, but there is one lowest percentage found in the informative function that is 66%. from the description of students' perceptions of the historical library as a whole is in the good category, where the TCR results are 71%. while the least percentage is in the sufficient category. In general, students' impressions of the history library are good, but there are some activities that have not been carried out because judging from the short break time, the lack of socialization of students in the modern era, and students are more passive than active.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution of material, basic competencies, indicators of achievement of competencies that exist in the RPP, as well as the level of thinking in odd semester final exam questions for history subjects class XI 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted at Adabiah 2 Senior High School in Padang. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The object of this study is the odd semester final exam subject for history class XI. The data in this study were obtained by means of document studies. The results showed that: 1) The distribution of material and basic competencies in the questions were not evenly distributed, 2) The distribution of competency achievement indicators was not evenly distributed, 3) The distribution of thinking levels in odd semester final exam questions was not evenly distributed, questions were dominated by the level of thinking thinking (C1) and understand (C2), 4 The average level of thinking distribution in questions is at the C1 level as many as 35 questions and C2 as many as 5 questions, while the level of thinking C3, C4, C5, and C6 has no problems.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengembangan Handoutini adalah sebagai pedoman serta pegangan bagi mahasiswa serta dosen dalam proses pembelajaran, dan kemudian tujuan lain digunakannya pendekatan sinkronik dalam memahami sebuah persitiwa sejarah sangatlah penting dikarenakan dalam membahas sebuah masalah ataupun latar belakang terjadinya peristiwa sejarah dilihat dari segala aspek bidang kehidupan masyarakat dengan menggunakan bantuaan ilmu-ilmu sosial sebagai alat analisis dari penggunaan konsep serta teori. Model yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang berhubungan dengan analisis, desain, development, implementasi serta evaluasi. Hasil penelitian telah melahirkan sebuah produk baru dalam pembelajaran sejarah yaitu Handout. Tahap analisis berkaitan dengan analisis kebutuhan serta materi, sedangkan tahap desain berhubungan dengan perancangan Handout serta penulisan atau pemakaian pendekatan sinkonik pada materi sejarah yang berhubungan dengan peristiwa sejarah, Serta tahap pengembagan berhubungan dengan pengembangan produk. Penilaiaan dari segi materi hinggahbahan ajar yang dilakukan oleh ahlinya masing-masing. Hasil penilaian terhadap produk yang berkaitan dengan materi serta Handout mendapatkan posisi posistif, dengan hasil skor rata-rata pada materi 3,28 dengan kategori sangat layak kemudian penilaian padaHandout mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,64 dengan kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya variasimedia pembelajaran sejarah yang menekankan pada berpikir diakronik di lapangan. Berpikir diakronik adalah salah satu komponen dari berpikir sejarah. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan, siswa masih memiliki kelemahan dalam mengidentifikasi suatu peristiwa, seperti mengurutkan dan menjelaskan suatu peristiwa atau kejadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pengembangan media Cornelldalam pembelajaran sejarahyang layak digunakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (resacrch and development), dengan menggunakan prosedur model ADDIE Analisis (Analyze),Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development),Implementasi(Implemetation), Evaluasi (Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi media Cornellberdasarkan uji validasi pada ahli media dan ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali. Hasil validasi media Cornelloleh ahli media adalah 3,53 dengan kategori sangat layak dan tingkat capaian item pada media adalah 88% dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil validasi materi pada media Cornelladalah 3,62 dengan kategori sangat layak dan tingkat capaian item pada materi adalah 91% dikategorikan sangat valid. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan media Cornellyang dilakukan layak digunakan karena sudah melalui tahap revisi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh mahasiswa PLK yang belum maksimal dalam mengaplikasikan keterampilan dasar mengajar selama melakukakan tugas sebagai guru pl di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi guru pamong terhadap keterampilan dasar mengajar mahaisswa PLK Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah UNP di SMA Negeri Kota padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari 20 item pertanyaan yang meliputi inidkator Keterampilan membuka pembelajaran, keterampilan menutup pembelajaran, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan mengadakan variasi, dan keterampilan mengelola kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru pamong PLK mahasiswa prodi pendidikan sejarah unp di SMA Negeri Kota Padang yang berjumlah 10 orang guru pamong. Analisisi data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan hitungan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran umum persepsi guru pamong terhadap keterampilan dasar mahasiswa plk berada pada kategori baik dengan julmah persentase 80%. Untuk indikator (1) semua sudah memiliki persepsi positif, untuk indikator (2) terdapat persepsi negatif mengenai pemberian penilaian berupa evalusai diakhir pemeblajaran, untuk indikator (3) terdapat perspsi negatif mengenai; Penguasan materi oleh Mahasiswa PLK sehingga dalam menjelaskan kalimat yanga disampaikan di pahami oleh siswa, mahasiswa pkl meberikan contoh yang sesuai dengan materi, dan penekanan-penekanan khusus pada kalimat yaang dianggap penting, untuk indikator ke (4) semua sudah memilki persepsi positif, untuk indikator (5) semua sudah memiliki persespi positif, untuk untuk indikator ke (6) semua sudah memilki persepsi positif, dan untuk indikator ke (7) semua sudah memilki persepsi positif.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat berpikir historis mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan merupakan akumulasi dari kegagalan proses pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Pembelajaran sejarah tanpa berpikir historis layaknya pembelajaran tanpa arah dan tujuan. Begitu pentingnya proses berpikir historis sehingga ia menjadi pondasi dasar dalam memahami sejarah dan proses perubahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir historis mahasiswa Departemen Sejarah melalui media video. Penggunaan media video yang dirancang sedemikan rupa diyakini mampu melatih mahasiswa untuk berpikir historis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R &D dengan model ADDIE. Pada penelitian ini dibatasi hingga pada tahapan Development. Dari validasi ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukan bahwa media video layak digunakan untuk melatih berpikir historis mahasiswa.
