Abstract

Kinerja perawat yang belum optimal berdampak terhadap mutu pelayanan rumah sakit. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kinerja adalah kepemimpinan. Rumah sakit membutuhkan pemimpin yang efektif, yaitu pemimpin yang mempunyai kemampuan mempengaruhi perilaku anggotanya salah satu model kepemimpinan yang ada adalah spiritual leadership guna mengoptimalkan kinerja perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penerapan spiritual leadership terhadap kinerja perawat dalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Aisyiah Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experimen pre and post design with control group. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian 48 responden yang dipilih berdasarkan Purposife sampling. Analisis yang digunakan univariat, bivariat dengan independent t test dan pairred t Test. Kelompok intervensi diberikan penerapan spiritual leadership adanya pengaruh penerapan spiritual leadership terhadap kinerja perawat dengan p value 0.001. Pada kelompok control yang tidak diterapkan spiritual leadership tidak ada perbedaan kinerja perawat sebelum dan setelah pengukuran kinerja dengan p value 0.682. Dengan memberikan penerapan spiritual leadership akan meningkatkan kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan.

Abstract

Training Make Low Sugar Light Food for Diabetes Mellitus (DM) PatientsAbstract. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is metabolic disorder, one of the symptoms in this condition is polyphagia (easily hungry). The condition of polyphagia in DM patients can be overcome by providing nutrients that contain low sugar levels so as not to trigger an increase in blood glucose levels in DM patients. Oatmeal crackers biscuit are biscuits made from oats. Quaker oats are nutrients derived from wheat, these nutrients can help treat the condition of type 2 diabetes and can be consumed at all ages. In addition, oats are easy to find. Community service is in the form of training in making biscuit crackers oatmeal chocochips which are processed biscuits with a composition of oats, sweeteners and chocochips. Biscuit is a processed food that is simple, easily made, not found on the market and is the right choice for people with diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this training is to increase cadre knowledge about DM and improve cadre skills in making biscuit crackers oatmeal chocochips. The training was carried out by involving 10 Nasyiatul aisyiyah cadres in Samarinda Ilir, conducted for 8 weeks. The training method was initiated by educating cadres on DM in the first week, followed by training in making biscuits in the second week. 3rd week to 8th week is assistance for cadres in making biscuits while evaluating cadres 'ability in making biscuits and evaluating participants' knowledge about DM. From the evaluation results, the majority of respondents had good knowledge about DM and were able to make biscuits appropriately.Keywords: Training, biscuit, crackers, DMAbstrak. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan gangguan metabolik, salah satu gejala pada kondisi tersebut yaitu polifagia (mudah lapar). Kondisi polifagia pada penderita DM dapat diatasi dengan pemberian nutrisi yang mengandung kadar gula rendah sehingga tidak memicu kenaikan kadar glukosa darah pada penderita DM. Biscuit crackers oatmeal merupakan biscuit yang berbahan dasar oat. Quaker oats merupakan nutrisi yang berasal dari gandum, nutrisi ini dapat membantu mengobati kondisi diabetes tipe 2 serta dapat dikonsumsi segala usia. Selain itu, oat mudah ditemukan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan pembuatan biscuit crackers oatmeal chocochips yang merupakan olahan biscuit dengan komposisi oat, pemanis dan chocochips. Biscuit ini merupakan makanan olahan yang sederhana, mudah dibuat, tidak ditemukan di pasaran dan merupakan pilihan tepat bagi penderita diabetes mellitus. Tujuan pelatihan ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan kader mengenai DM dan meningkatkan ketrampilan kader dalam membuat biscuit crackers oatmeal chocochips.  Pelatihan dilakukan dengan melibatkan 10 kader Nasyiatul aisyiyah Samarinda Ilir, dilakukan selama 8 minggu. Metode pelatihan diawali dengan mengedukasi kader mengenai DM pada minggu pertama, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan biscuit pada minggu kedua. Minggu ke-3 hingga minggu ke-8 merupakan pendampingan bagi kader dalam pembuatan biscuit sekaligus mengevaluasi kemampuan kader dalam pembuatan biscuit serta mengevaluasi pengetahuan peserta mengenai DM. Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan mayoritas responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai DM dan mampu membuat biscuit secara tepat.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, biskuit, crackers, DM

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi keperawatan merupakan pendidikan professional yang dilaksanakan melalui pendidikan akademik dan profesi. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran klinik merupakan pengalaman real bagi mahasiswa keperawatan untuk mempelajari profesionalisme. Sehingga untuk mendukung proses tersebut diperlukan manajemen pengelolaan pendidikan profesi yang komprehensif. Pelatihan perseptorship ini sangat diharapkan mampu untuk mempersempit kesenjangan pembelajaran di akademi dan diklinik. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, peserta mampu mengaplikasikan dan merancang model bimbingan klinik dengan pendekatan perceptorship. Metode Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah berupa pelatihan yang diadakan selama 3 hari pada tanggal 9-11 Juni 2021. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah sejumlah 30 perawat RSUD Taman Husada Bontang. Dalam Pelatihan ini diadakan Pre dan Post Test terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan Skill dari peserta dalam mengaplikasikan ilmu perseptorship. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk pembimbing klinik dengan pendekatan preseptorship model Approach baik yang sudah pengalaman ataupun yang belum banyak pengalaman namun memiliki ketertarikan menjadi preseptor klinik yang berkualitas. Dalam pelatihan ini peserta belajar: Memahami kurikulum pendidikan Klinik, Konsep preseptorship model, Merancang kegiatan bimbingan klinik berdasarkan kondisi yang dihadapi, Pembinaan hubungan kooperatif dan kolaboratif antara preseptor dan peserta didik, Ketrampilan memberikan feedback, Menilai kemampuan peserta didik dan memahami tugas dan fungsi preseptor klinik yang professional. Pelatihan disampaikan dalam format kuliah didaktif, role play, dan latihan ketrampilan.

Abstract

Responsiveness is a policy to assist and provide fast, responsive and precise service to customers, with clear information delivery. Each worker who provides any forms of service, prioritizes the aspect of service that greatly affects the behavior of the person who gets the service, so that the ability to respond from the employees to serve the community is in accordance with the level of absorption, understanding, and inconsistency in the various forms of service that he does not understand. Nursing Performance is a work achievement demonstrated by the executive nurse in carrying out the task of nursing care to produce a good output to the customer (organization, client, nurse themselves). This research aimed to determine the relationship of nurse performance in nursing care to the responsiveness quality of nursing service in RSIA Qurrata A'yun Samarinda. The study used a cross sectional approach. The validity and reliability tests were carried out on the nurses’ performance and the quality of service questionnaire which was carried out at RSIA Aisisyiah Samarinda to 30 patients. The instrument in this study used questionnaires with samples of 62 patients hospitalized, chosen with simple random sampling technique. The test analysis in this study used Chi-square test with P Value 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship of nurse performance to the responsiveness quality of nursing service.

Abstract

Auditory stimulation is one of non-pharmacological pain management that can be done in premature babies by playing music or mother's voice with an acceptable to the baby (50-60 dB). This study aimed to analyze the effect of giving music therapy and mother’s voice theraphy in controlling the pain response of premature babies while undergoing an invasive procedure. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental research with pre and posttest one group design, purposive sampling used in this study, involving 43 premature babies in a Samarinda Hospital. Observation checklist was further used for data collection. Based on the paired t-test, it obtained a sig-value of 0.000 (p <0.05) with a difference of 5.535 (95% CI 4.682 - 6.388) for music theraphy and sig-value of 0.000 with a difference of 5.860 (95% CI 5.204 - 6,517) showing a sig value <0.05 for mother's voice during the invasive procedure. The analysis showed that there were significant differences before and after giving auditory stimulation of the mother's voice during an invasive procedure.

Abstract

A nursing care standard is a model that outlines the desired level of excellence for nursing services provided to the patient. The goal of this study was to see if there was a link between nurses' performance in providing nursing care and the quality of nursing services provided at RSIA Qurrata A'yun Samarinda. The study employed descriptive correlation research in conjunction with a cross-sectional survey design. In this study, the sample consisted of inpatients at RSIA Qurrata A'yun Samarinda, with 62 respondents meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was drawn using a complete random sampling approach.Using a questionnaire as a data collection tool The frequency distribution was calculated using univariate analysis, and the hypotheses were evaluated using bivariate analysis using the Somers'd test. The validity testing was conducted for 30 hospitalized patients at RSIA Aisyiyah Samarinda from August 30 to October 7, 2019. The Cronbach alpha value for the nurse performance questionnaire was 0.716 in a reliability test.The Cronbach alpha value for the quality of nursing service was 0.849, and analysis using the Somers'd test resulted in a p-value of 0.001 a 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, with a correlation value of 0.349, having the least correlation. As a source of information and tools for guiding nurses' performance in practicing nurses in the context of improving nursing service quality and reaching the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus entered Indonesia in early March until now the case is uncertain, full of uncertainty and rapid changes occur and there is no definite cure for the virus attack. The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused lifestyle changes in students such as online learning conditions, limiting mobilization and activities at home with family, and triggering teenagers to interact more with mass media and electronics. Students as late teens towards early adulthood need healthy, balanced nutrition such as consuming fruits and vegetables for energy needs in carrying out their activities as students completing solid assignments and lectures and also increasing immunity for their physical and psychological health to face the covid 19 outbreak so that cognitive distortion does not occur. To identify media exposure, family diet, and consumption of fruits and vegetables in adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire (google form) and media zoom. The research sample was taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The subjects in this study were 239 students of Health at Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between media exposure and fruit and vegetable consumption in students (p value = 0.000 < = 0.05), as well as the results of the analysis between family eating patterns and fruit and vegetable consumption in University Health students. Muhammadiyah East Kalimantan found a significant relationship (p value: 0.000 < 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that respondents who have the majority of fruit and vegetable consumption habits are better because apart from media exposure and family eating patterns, individual factors are also influenced ( taste preferences), social networks (support from parents and friends), physical environment (eg availability and accessibility, attractiveness and price of food products), and macro environment (eg media and advertising).

Abstract

The quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy is the view of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy on their lives holistically including physical, psychosocial, spiritual and environmental conditions that are strongly influenced by changes in life due to the effects of cancer itself and the added effects of chemotherapy which is often a complaint in carrying out daily activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of factors related to the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital Samarinda. The design of this study was descriptive with analytical design in the form of cross sectional. The population is 124 with a sample of 94 respondents. The instrument used in this study is an anket sheet (questionnaire). Univariate and bivariate data analysis using Chi Square. The results of this study using the chi-square test obtained of p value 0.047 (p <0.05) indicating there is a relationship between physical factors and the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy obtained p value of 0,000 (p <0.05) indicating there was a relationship between psychosocial factors and the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, obtained of p value of 0.396 (p> 0.05) showed no the relationship between environmental factors and the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, obtained of p value 0.047 (p <0.05) indicating there is a relationship between physical factors and the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and the p value 0.026 (p< 0.05) indicates a relationship among spiritual factors with the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Abdul Wahab Hospital Sjahranie Samarinda. Conclusion: There are relationships between three factors : Physical, Social and Spiritual with Quality of life of cancer patients that received chemotheraphy but one factor : environmental that no relationship.

Abstract

Tujuan studi: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Long Ikis. Metodologi:Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain descriptive correlation melalui pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel menggunakan teknik Total sampling berjumlah 35 responden. Instrument yang dipakai pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner gaya kepemimpinan dan mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Pengukuran gaya kepemimpinan menggunakan kuesioner Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire(MLQ) yang dimodifikasi dan mutu pelayanan kesehatan menggunakan kuesioner dari dimensi Service quality (SerQual). Teknik analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan data, editing, pemberian kode, tabulasi dan penyajian. Hasil :Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan analisisPearson Correlation menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan Transformasional (X1) terhadap Mutu Pelayanan Kesehatan(Y) di Puskesmas Long Ikis dengan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,000(<0,05) dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan Transaksional (X2) terhadap Mutu Pelayanan Kesehatan (Y) di Puskesmas Long Ikis dengan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,128 (> 0,05). Manfaat :Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi adanya hubungan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Long Ikis.
