Abstract

This research aimed to know there is or no effect of learning based phenomena model toward student’s conceptual understanding at SMAN 1 Kopang. The kind of this research was experimental research. Design of this research used Posttest Only Control Design with population was all of students at SMAN 1 Kopang. Sample of this research consist of two classes that is class X-1 asw control group and class X-2 as experimental group which used random sampling technique. Based on homogeneity and normality test showed that both of data was normal distribution. The data analysis used t-test. The result of t-test was 6,12 and t-table was 2,00, so Ha was accepted. The result of this research showed that there is effect of learning based phenomena model toward student’s conceptual understanding at SMAN 1 Kopang.

Abstract

This research aims to know the existence effect of AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) learning approach with the demonstration method toward the communication and critical thinking ability. This research includes the experimental research (pretest-postest only control group design) with a populations that are all of students grade VII SMPN 8 Taliwang with number of students 40 peoples, sample of this research there are two class, where class of VII A as a experimental class and class VII B as a control  class. Analysis technique used t-test, ttest  for critical thinking abilities 3,64 greater than ttabelis 2,15, communication skills obtained tvalue(3,33)  thantTabel(2,15). Cause the value ttest is greater than ttabel then Ho is unaccepted and Ha accepted, this means the use of AIR learning approach with the method of demonstration has effects on improvement of communication and critical thinking ability in class of VII SMPN 8 Taliwang.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effect of direct instruction model with  contextual approach toward students concept comprehension in class XI SMA PGRI Sape. The method of this research was quasy-experimental with research design was pretest-posttest control group design. Population of this research is taken from all students in grade XI IPA. The research sample used was a class XI IPA 3 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 1 as the control class. The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling. The technique of data colletion used instrument test in the form of essays. Analysis of data using homogenity, normality test, hypothesis testing. Hypothesis test (t-test) students concept comprehension obtained t = 9.67 ≥ table = 2.002. Abstract

This research was aimed to know to improve the aktivities and achievement stundents’ at the VIII-F class of SMPN 11 Mataram of the material optics in learning about Think Talk Write (TTW). This research was used Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this research was action cycle II to students VIII-F class of SMPN 11 Mataram, which consist of 30 students. The result in this research in cycle I was 55,55% which categories enough, although to cycle II was 72.22% which categories anough, the scores of observation in teach by teacher in cycle I was 77,27% which categories good, in cycle II was 90,90% which catergories good. The mean of the students achievement in cycle I was 78 which classical completeness was 73,33%, in cycle II was 86 which classical completeness 86,66%. Therefore, based on the research can be concluded that there learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) in the material optics can improve aktivities and students achievement at the VIII-F class of SMPN 11 Mataram in academic year 2015/2016.
