Abstract

This research was carried out at the Green House Experimental Farm Science Park, Sigi Biromaru Sidondo sub-district, Sigi Regency, since April - July 2016. This research aims to determine the effect of different types of media is growing and the interval giving coconut water towards growth and yield of tomato plants with uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) two factors, where the first factor is the growing medium consisting of four levels treatments, M1 (medium soil and chicken manure), M2 (ground husk charcoal and media), M3 (medium soil and sawdust), M4 (medium soil and cow manure), and the second factor is the interval watering coconut water is P1 (4 days), P2 (8 days), and P3 (12 days). Each combination treatment was repeated three times so that there are 36 experimental units. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance, and the real effect then tested further using Honestly Significant Difference at 5% level. The results showed that the treatment M2P2 give very good influence on the growth phase of height with an average 121,67 cm at age 45 days after planting, the average number of leaves 268,67 strands, and the total dry weight of the average plant 204,67 g, whereas treatment M1P1 give very good influence on the amount of fruit on average of 7,67 with a total weight of ripe fruit average 243, 67 g and the average root volume 19,67 ml.Key Words : Tomato, Growing Media, Coconut Water.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of local fruit microorganisms on growth and lettuce yield. The method used in this research was by using Randomized Block Design with treatment of local microorganisms of fruits on lettuce crop consisting of seven levels and repeated 3 times to get 21 units of experiment. Seven treatment dosage levels are: K0 = Without microorganism, K1 = 1L / 5L Water (200 ml), K2 = 1L / 10L Water (66 ml), K3 = 1L / 15L Water (66 ml), K4 = 1L / 20L Water (50 ml), K5 = 1L / 25L Water (40 ml) and K6 = 1L / 30L Water (33 ml). Parameters observed were Plant Height, Total Leaf, Total Fresh Weight and Dry Plant Weight. From the results of research on the influence of local microorganisms of fruits on the growth and yield of lettuce plants, the concentration of liquid fertilizer of local fruits microorganisms provide a real effect on the growth and yield of lettuce plants. The treatment of liquid fertilizer local fruits microorganisms with a concentration of 10% yielded the highest plant height, highest number of leaves, wet weight and highest dry weight. Key Words: Lettuce, Local Microorganisms Fruits,

Abstract

Kangkung (Ipomoea reptans Poir) is an annual or annual plant which is an important leaf vegetable in Southeast Asia and South Asia. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of bokashi fertilizer with different doses of cow dung on the growth and yield of kangkung plants. The research was conducted in November 2017 – January  2018. Planting locations, observations of plant height and leaf number of kangkung plants were carried out in Sidera Village, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency and measurement of chlorophyll content, leaf area, canopy fresh weight, fresh root weight, and total fresh weight of kangkung plants conducted at the Horticulture Laboratory Faculty of AgricultureTadulako University. This research was conducted based on Randomized Block Design (RBD) as the treatment of bokashi fertilizers dosage consisting of 5 levels namely: (A) without fertilizer (control), (B) bokashi fertilizer 7.5 ton/ha, (C) bokashi fertilizer 15 ton/ha, (D) bokashi fertilizer 22.5 ton/ha, and (E) bokashi fertilizer 30 ton/ha, each treatment was repeated 4 (four) times so that there were 20 experimental units.The results showed that cow dung bokashi organic fertilizer had a significant to very significant effect on the growth and yield of kangkung plants on all parameters observed, except for observations of plant height aged 20 days after planting and observations the number of leaves at the age of 20 days after planting. Treatment of bokashi fertilizer with a dose of 30 ton/ha gave the highest growth in all parameters, but not significantly different with the treatment bokashi fertilizer 22.5 ton/ha.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and study the growth and yield of two varieties of bean plants that were given different types of mulchs. Starting in August 2013 to November 2013, which is located in the Sidera village,Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi province to the altitude of 80 meters above sea level. This study used split plot design varieties as main plot consisting of Peleton Variety (V1) and Saka Variety (V2) as well as a subplot mulch consisting of no mulch (M0), rice straw mulch (M1), rise husk mulch (M2), plastic mulch silver (M3) and plastic mulch black silver (M4). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that overall there are 30 experimental units. The results showed Saka varieties give better effect in increasing plant height while for crops. Rice straw mulch gives a better effect in increasing the number of pods of plant and fresh pod weight (ton ha-1) that is 36,92 ton ha-1. There is interaction between the two varieties and different types of mulch. Saka varieties give better effect on flowering and pod fresh weight of plant with rice straw mulching.

Abstract

            Pertanian merupakan salah satu aspek kehidupan yang paling penting dan menjadi sorotan utama dalam perekonomian suatu negara, khususnya negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Namun, perkembangan teknologi dan industri saat ini mampu menggeser posisi pertanian. Tidak sedikit masyarakat yang beralih pada aktivitas industri dan meninggalkan lahan-lahan pertanian mereka. Adopsi teknologi pertanian akan dapat meningkatkan penghasilan kelompok tani khususnya anggota kelompok tani karena pekerjaan mereka akan lebih efektif dan efisien. Oleh sebab penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan kelompok tani terhadap adopsi teknologi pertanian di Desa Sibowi Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara terhadap 50 responden dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan (kuesioner). Variabel peran kelompok tani diukur menggunakan 15 item pertanyaan dengan lima skala likert, yaitu (1) sangat tidak setuju; (2) kurang setuju; (3) netral; (4) setuju; (5) sangat setuju dan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa variabel peran kelompok tani (X) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi teknologi pertanian Padi sawah  di Desa Sibowi dapat dilihat dari persamaan regresi antara kedua variabel tersebut yaitu: Ŷ = 29,310 + 0,518X.. Persamaan regresi ini berarti bahwa setiap peningkatan satu satuan skor peran kelompok tani diikuti kenaikan skor adopsi teknologi pertanian sebesar 0,518 pada konstanta 29,310.Kata Kunci : Adopsi Teknologi, Kelompok Tani.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to identify scion length and time for a successful graft union of mango plant. The experiment used a Randomized Block Design with factorial pattern replicated three times.  The factors consisted of grafting time (morning, noon, and afternoon), and scion lengths (7.5, 10 and 12.5 cm). The research results showed that grafting in the afternoon produces better graft union seedling.  However, grafting conducted at noon could also generate good graft union seedling as long as the length of the scion was 12.5 cm. The results from the research was still far from perfect. Therefore, it is recommended that the research should be continued in order to identify the treatment consistency.

Abstract

This research aim was to determine the effect of various rates of chicken manure and straw mulch on the growth and yield of tomato plant.  The research method used a Two-factorial Randomized Block design (RBD). The first factor was the rate of chicken manure consisting of 5 t/ha (P1), 10 t/ha (P2) and 15 t/ha (P3). The second factor was the rate of rice straw mulch including control (M0, without mulch), 5 t/ha (M1), 10 t/ha (M2) and15 t/ha (M3). Each treatment was repeated thrice, so that there were 36 experimental units.  The results ofthe study indicated thatthe chicken manure and the rice straw mulch interaction significantly affected the growth and yield of tomato as observed on plant height, number of leaves, number of fruit per plant, yield per tile and yield per hectare.  The interaction of chicken manure at 10 t/ha and rice straw mulch at10 t/ha resulted in largest number of leaves, number of fruit per plant, yield per tile and yield per ha.The highest production of tomatoes found was 11.98 t/ha. Keywords: Chicken manure, Rice straw mulch, and Tomato.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Bulupontu Dusun Jaya District. Sigi Biromaru, Sigi in January to April 2016. The purpose of this study was to examine the use of shade and mulch on the growth and yield of tomato plants. This research method is set in the design of this study using the draft petak Separated (Split Plot Design) with plots Main wil be attempted is the percentage of shade: N1 = 25% (Light received as much 75 %), N2 = 50 % (Light received as much 50 %), N3= (Light received as much 25 %), kids plot/ sub plot is mulching rice straw is composed of M0= Without mulch, M1= rice straw 1,9 kg/ plot, M2 =rice straw 3,8 kg/  plot, M3= rice straw 5,7 kg/ plot. The results of this study indicate that treatment interaction shade and mulch can give a real effecton plant height, fruit number and fruit weight. Total 78,11 cm high plant, obtained on the interaction of treatment 50% (N2) with mulch 5,7 kg/ plot (M3). While the highest number of fruits per plant fruit 16,55 on the interaction of treatmen 75 % (N3) with mulch 5,7 kg/ plot (M3). And total weight of the fruit per needs plots (kg) which showed the highest niali 1,28 kg on height 2 MST has th highest value on M1 ie 29,12 cm. percentage of shade does not significantly affect the growth and yield    of tomato. Key Words : Shade, Rice straw mulch, Tomato.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimedwas to determine the effect of hedgerows planting distance and the rates of manure on growth and yield of tomato. This research was conducted in Bulupountu Jaya, Biromaru sub district, Sigi Biromaru district during December 2015 until March 2016. The study was compiled using a randomized block design (RBD) with two factors. The first factor wasplanting distances (P) with three levels i.e.10 cm x150 cm (p1), 20 cm x150 cm (p2) and 30 cm x150 cm (p3).  The second factor was manure (K) consisting fourrates i.e. control (K0), 10 tons/ha (K1), 15 tons/ha (k2) and 20 tons/ha (K3).  Each treatment was repeated three times, thus there were 36 experimental plots. The results indicated that the hedgerows plantingdistance and the manure rateshighly affected plant height leaf number, fruit weight and number of tomatoes fruits.  The planting distance of 30 cm x150 cm with 20 tons chicken manure/ha resulted in best growth and highest yield of tomato plant. Keywords: Chicken manure rate, Hedgerows planting distance, Tomato Growth And Yield.
