Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the perception of student Business Administration of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya towards lecturer behavior in teaching. The data were collected by using a questionnaire, and analyzed with cartisius diagram. The results showed that the expection value is grater then the value of the fact, that implied 3,57 and 2,93. This shows that satisfaction or fact regarding behavior in the teaching according to the perceptions of students still below the standard expected. Some of the lecturers teaching behaviors that should be preserved is the matery of materials, the ability to communicate in the classroom, time to discuss, don’t smoke while teaching, always dress modestly at time when teaching, polite attitude at a time when teaching, interspersed with moments of humor, friendly teaching attitude towards students, and questions to be tested in accordance with study materials. While the factors that need to be repaired from the lecturer behavior in the teaching is less able to manage interaction among students in teaching and learning processes, student do not have time to ask to the lecturer in learning procceses, less honest in assessing students’ behavior and discriminate between students, lecturers are not transparent in marking, lecturer are not timely in accomplishing all the material given in a semester.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out whether or not the lecturer attitude of Business Administration Majaority in teaching could influence the learning of college student?  The data were collected with questionnaire and the analyzing of the data was helped by SPSS version 12.00 program.  The results have shown that three of independent variables of lecturer which consist of teaching method, lecturer ethics in teaching and the lecturer obedience in regulation simultaneously and partially influenced toward the learning as the dependent variable.  The number of the influence was 49,10% and the rest was influenced by the other variables.  The most dominant factor that was influential on the learning interest of college student was the lecturer etchics in teaching.  To give more improvement toward the learning interest of college student at Business Administration Majority, it was recommended to Business Administration Majority’s lecturer to be more ready in teaching, starting from the teaching method such as preparing the tuition contract, SAP, teaching material, etc.  The lecturer ethics in the class also should be kept, for example the attitude in communicating to the college student, likewise with the regulation obedience, it is better for the lecturer to always obey the teaching time, giving score transparency, etc. Thus, besides improving the learning interest of college student, the lecturer could be the good role model to the college student.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Duta Oktan Semesta Palembang. This study uses compensation as an independent variable, motivation as an intervening variable and performance as the dependent variable.  The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance through employee motivation as an intervening variable.  The sample used was an employee of PT Duta Oktan Semesta Palembang set the number of samples in this study were 42 respondents.  The analysis includes the validity test, reliability test, the classic assumption test, test models, regression analysis and path analysis. Based on the results of two regression analyzes can be performed so that the path analysis found that the variable motivation to become an intervening variable is based on the calculation of the standardized coefficients for the indirect effect of compensation on performance through employee motivation at 48.1% greater than the direct effect of compensation on performance of 24.3%.  The author concluded that the company should increase the motivation of employees to improve their performance.

Abstract

This research done in Polytechnic State of Sriwijaya and aimed at: finding the influence of Job Characteristic, individual characteristic, motivation on Lecturer Performance. This research used data that collected by survey with lecturer as respondent. Ninety five respondents were choosing as the samples by Stratified Random Sampling Method. Path Analyisis techniques were used to analyze data with use SPSS version 15.00 for windows. Job Characteristic, individual characteristic, as the independent variables (X), and Lecturer Performance as the dependent variables (Y). The results revealed that Job Characteristic has a significant effect on motivation. Perceived usefulness partially has a significant effect on computer self efficacy. Perceived ease of use partially has a significant effect on  computer self efficacy. Attitude, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use simultaneously have significant effect on computer self efficacy.Key words:Job Characteristic, Individual Characteristic, Motivation, Performance

Abstract

The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, learning orientation, competitive advantage and business performance especially food processing small businesses is interesting to study. Food processing small businesses in Palembang are the object of research with a sample of 179 people. Path analysis is used in this study to measure the amount of influence between variables. The findings of the study show that the entrepreneurial orientation variable has a significant effect on competitive advantage. Market orientation variable has no significant effect on competitive advantage. The learning orientation variable has a significant effect on competitive advantage. The competitive advantage variable has a significant effect on business performance. The results of this study can contribute to small businesses in improving business excellence and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Physical Environment on Visiting Decisions. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of survey techniques to visitors who have come or visited Semambu Island Tourism Village through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, this study uses incidental sampling technique with a sample of 70 respondents. The research data uses Simple Linear Regression Analysis processed with IBM SPSS Ver 25. The results show that the physical environment and tourist attractions have a positive relationship and have a significant effect on visiting decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Experiential Marketing on Revisit Intention. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, this study uses purposive sampling technique with a sample of 100 respondents. The research data uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis processed with IBM SPSS Ver 25. The results show that the Experiential Marketing have a positive relationship and have a significant effect on Revisit Intention.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Kayu Agung Tax Office and aims to determine: a). An overview of employees' perceptions about cutting performance allowances; b). Description of employee performance and c). The effect of cutting performance allowances on employee performance. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation. The variables in this study are the deduction of performance allowances as the independent variable (X) and employee performance as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study were 82 employees with a sample of 54.9% (45 employees) who were taken using the proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used observation and documentation questionnaire techniques. The data obtained as a result of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics which had previously been tested for analysis requirements. In this study, the results obtained: a) Employees' perceptions regarding the deduction of the performance allowance of the majority strongly agree; b) employee perceptions regarding employee performance, the majority agree; c) There is a significant positive effect between cutting performance allowances on employee performance. Therefore it is advisable to the leadership of the Kayu Agung Tax Office, presumably strive to maintain their performance and even further improve by providing training, briefing and checking work again.

Abstract

Media sosial semakin populer di kalangan manajer restoran lokal sebagai platform penting untuk memasarkan fasilitas mereka dan membangun hubungan pelanggan. Menarik untuk dilakukan kajian tentang interaksi antara pengunjung dengan destinasi wisata kuliner. Konsumen yang datang ke restoran lokal berjumlah 176 responden menjadi sampel penelitian dengan pendekatan sampel purposive. Pengujian keterkaitan antar variabel yang diajukan menggunakan persamaan struktural. Studi ini menjelaskan bahwa interaksi sosial dan keterlibatan pengunjung memiliki hubungan positif dan tidak signifikan. Berbagi informasi dan keterlibatan pengunjung mempunyai hubungan positif dan tidak signifikan. Atraksi wisata kuliner dan keterikatan pengunjung memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan. Keterlibatan pengunjung dan niat kunjungan berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

This research focuses on task-oriented leadership styles that have paid very little attention, especially in assessing the impact of task-oriented leadership styles. leadership style on psychological capital, job satisfaction and employee organizational commitment. This research further develops research on the relationship between leadership style, psychological capital, job satisfaction and employee organizational commitment in SMEs in Indonesia, especially in the city of Palembang.The research design is a research plan, namely a detailed explanation of the entire research plan starting from the formulation of the problem, objectives, description of the relationship between variables. The number of samples in this study was 180. It was found that the leadership style variable had an effect on job satisfaction, the psychological capital variable had an effect on satisfaction work, leadership style variables affect organizational commitment, psychological capital variables affect organizational commitment, and job satisfaction variables affect organizational commitment
