Abstract

The government has set a 30% quota of women's representation in the legislature, including Malang City. The existence of women's representation to see women's participation in politics, as well as their role in making gender responsive policy. The policy formulation model used is Easton's 'political system'. The objectives of this research are: 1) to analyze the role of female parliamentarians in the formulation of gender responsive policies. 2) to describe supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the formulation of gender responsive policies. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive research type. Data collection was done by observation and interview technique. Source of data comes from primary data and secondary data. The result of the research shows that women representation in DPRD Malang is not maximal, their role in initiating gender responsive policy is still lacking, but in the outside they still have concern especially protection for victims of violence of woman and child.

Abstract

Penelitian empiris di bidang work family conflict (konflik antara kerja dan keluarga) menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict memiliki dampak yang negatif terhadap individu, keluarga dan organisasi. Penelitian mengenai dampak dukungan organisasi (work life balance policies dan FSSB) terhadap karyawan sampai saat ini didominasi oleh penelitian di konteks western countries. Disebabkan adanya perbedaan sosial dan kultural, hasil penelitian yang terkait dengan topik pekerjaan dan keluarga yang dilakukan dalam konteks tersebut mungkin saja tidak berlaku di negara non-western (termasuk di Indonesia). Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dukungan supervisor yang suportif terhadap keluarga (family supporrtive supervisor behaviour/FSSB) terhadap tingkat konflik antara pekerjaan dan keluarga dalam konteks Indonesia. Populasi penelitian ini adalah tenaga pengajar (dosen) wanita (berkeluarga) di lingkungan Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Konteks universitas/perguruan tinggi dipilih dengan alasan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan mengenai jumlah tenaga pengajar wanita di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang menyebabkan isu work family conflict merupakan salah satu isu yang penting di lingkungan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Disamping itu, tenaga pengajar di perguruan tinggi memiliki beban kerja yang relatif tinggi sehingga merupakan konteks yang relevan untuk meneliti work family conflict, namun penelitian dalam konteks ini masih terbatas.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the availability of water, the distribution of spring locations, the amount of clean water needs, and the right strategy to maximize the management of clean water in Passo Village. To obtain the right management strategy, the SWOT method was applied in this study. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, it was found that the proposed alternative management strategy related to stable growth is directed at strengthening collaborative and participatory management by relying on the strength of costs or funds owned by the government and opportunity from society in management implementation. The three strategies consist of developing individual or family water management sites into society-based ones, improving water quality by maintaining vegetation around the springs, and developing sites for optimal water management by creating cooperation between society and the government in order to continue to meet the needs of society. The three strategies are expected to maximize society-based clean water management in Passo Village in Baguala Sub-District, City of Ambon.Keywords: Strategy, Water Management, SWOT

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to uncover and analyze the leadership of the women head village in the rural government. This research was conducted in the Bunder Village, Pademawu sub-district of Pamekasan Regency, using a case study approach with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observations. Informant selection by using purposive sampling is Hj. Iswan Yanti Head of Bunder Village, village offisial, community leaders. This case study shows that First, Hj. Iswan Yanti in leading the rural government prioritizes feminine traits such as sheltered, gentle, polite, polite in speaking and behaving, sympathy, empathy, and sensitivity to the needs of the community. Second, Hj Iswan Yanti combines feminine traits with democratic leadership, serving leadership, participatory, initiative, creative, and setting high standards in work. Also, Hj. Iswan Yanti in running the rural government does not limit the level of hierarchy between superiors or subordinates but regards all village offisial as friends or family. This combination of feminine and transformational leadership was a factor in Hj. Iswan Yanti's success while leading the rural government.الخلاصة: الغرض من هذا البحث هو الكشف عن وتحليل قيادة رئيسة القرية في حكومة القرية. وقد أجري هذا البحث في منطقة الفرعية في باميكاسان ريجنسي، باستخدام نهج دراسة حالة مع تقنيات جمع البيانات باستخدام المقابلات والملاحظات المتعمقة. مخبر المنصوص عليها باستخدام العينات ارشادية هي رئيس قرية, جهاز القرية, قادة المجتمع المحلي. تظهر دراسة الحالة هذه أن (1) أولاً، طرح الحاج في قيادة حكومة القرية سمات أنثوية مثل ودية، لطيفة، مهذبة، مهذبة في التحدث وسلوك، والتعاطف، والتعاطف والحساسية لاحتياجات المجتمع. (2) ثانيا، يجمع هج ايسان يانتي بين السمات الأنثوية والقيادة الديمقراطية، والقيادة التي تخدم، والمشاركة، والمبادرة، والإبداع، ووضع معايير عالية في العمل. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، لا يحد هج ايسان يينتي في إدارة حكومة القرية من مستوى التسلسل الهرمي بين الرؤساء أو المرؤوسين، بل يعتبر جميع أجهزة القرية أصدقاء أو عائلة. وكان هذا المزيج من القيادة المؤنث والتحولية عاملاً في نجاح هج.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis praktik kepemimpinan Kepala Desa perempuan dalam pemerintah desa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Bunder Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan, menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data memakai wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Informan ditentukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu Hj. Iswan Yanti  Kepala Desa Bunder, aparatur desa, tokoh masyarakat. Studi kasus ini menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, Hj. Iswan Yanti dalam memimpin pemerintah desa mengedepankan sifat feminin seperti mengayomi, sikap lembut, santun, sopan dalam bertutur dan bersikap, simpati, empati dan sensitive terhadapat kebutuhan masyarakat. Kedua, Hj Iswan Yanti memadukan sifat feminin dengan kepemimpinan demokratis, kepemimpinan melayani, partisipatif, inisiatif, kreatif dan menetapkan standar tinggi dalam bekerja. Selain itu, Hj. Iswan Yanti dalam menjalankan pemerintahan desa tidak membatasi jenjang hierarki antara atasan atau bawahan, tetapi menganggap semua aparatur desa sebagai teman atau keluarga. Perpaduan kepemimpinan feminin dan transformational inilah yang menjadi faktor keberhasilan Hj. Iswan Yanti saat memimpin pemerintah desa.

Abstract

AbstrakKonteks isi tari Piring Gelas adalah sebuah bentuk yang nampak secara empirik struktur luarnya yang mengandung makna dan isi tari. Oleh karena itu, kesulitan yang sering muncul dalam melihat dan mendeskripsikan makna tari Piring Gelas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah deskripsi konteks isi tari Piring Gelas di Sanggar Silampari Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi konteks isi tari Piring Gelas di Sanggar Silampari Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sanggar Silampari Kabupaten Musi Rawas, dengan data yang berupa kata-kata, uraian dan gambar yang mengenai tari Piring Gelas sebagai konteks isi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa tari Piring Gelas adalah salah satu tari tradisonal yang ada di Kabupaten Musi Rawas dengan menginjak tumpukan piring dan gelas. Tari Piring Gelas memiliki konteks isi sebagai tema gerak adalah kesabaran gerak-gerak pada tari Piring Gelas gerak hormat, salam, selyang, selayang, main seledang, mengangkat piring, berputar, transisi dan naik piring, konteks isi sebagai tema cerita lebih dekat dengan tipe dramatik dan konteks isi sebagai tema simbolik terlihat dari tata rias dan busana, tempat panggung, penari, properti serta gerak dalam tari Piring Gelas di Kabupaten Musi Rawas.Kata kunci: Tari Piring Gelas, Konteks Isi

Implementation of employment policies for women with disabilities using grounded theory, because researchers assume that the method, can reveal the problem in this study, namely how the views and impacts of the implementation of employment policies for women with disabilities, especially those in Malang City. This study uses the qualitative approach of the Straussian version of the grounded theory method. Because Straussian tends to be more structured, it requires several rules and is complex so that it is open to various kinds of form the initial categories along with sub categories based on information extracted from the phenomenon.

Abstract

Innovation in garbage management becomes one of the adaptation strategies which is responsive to the environmental pollution impact. Regional government’s innovation in garbage management is a city development concept which puts forward sustainable aspects. Sustainable development is a basic principle of garbage management concept, then it demands the presence of society’s participation and the other stakeholders. The research aims to describe and analyze the regional government’s innovation in sustainable development-based garbage management in Badung Regency. The research used descriptive research method with qualitative approach and qualitative data analysis of interactive model. The research results showed that the regional government in garbage management could be formed because the presence of motivation, skill, knowledge and conducive environment. The regional government’s innovation in garbage management was on generating possibilities. On the other hand, the facilities and infrastructure which were not optimal yet became the inhibiting factor of innovation.
