Abstract

The objectives of this research are to explain : 1) the interaction of learning style and the using of instructional media toward students achievement, 2) the difference of the students achievement on visual learning style by using CD interactive media and model.The research was done in SMAN 1 Pringsewu. The data was collected by using questionnaire and test. And the data was analyzed by using ANAVA and T-test.The conclusion of the research are ; 1) there is an interaction between instructional media and learning style toward students achievement, in which the instructional media given both by CD interactive media and the model have effect one to another. And it was also influenced by aspect of learning style with Fhitung is28,684 F table 2,19, 2) the increase of students achievement on visual learning style by using CD interactive media is higher than those on visual learning style using model media, with the gain average 0,340 compared with the model 0,295.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan:1) interaksi antara gaya belajar dan penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 2) perbedaan peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dengan gaya belajar visual yang memanfaatkan media CD interaktif dan model. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Pringsewu. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dan tes dan di analisis menggunakan ANAVA dan uji t.Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: 1) terdapat interaksi antara media pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa,dimana peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh media pembelajaran dan gaya belajar, dengan Fhitung sebesar 28,684 F tabel 2,19; 2) peningkatan prestasi belajar belajar siswa dengan gaya belajar visual yang memanfaatkan media CD interaktif lebih tinggi daripada siswa dengan gaya belajar visual yang memanfaatkan media model, dengan rata-rata gain sebesar 0,340 dibandingkan model yang hanya 0,295.Kata kunci : CD interaktif , prestasi biologi, visual, kinestetik, model.

Abstract

This study aims to find out  the improvement of students` problem solving skills on environmental pollution and conservation concepts of  X grade student of  SMA N 1 Talang Padang using Group Investigation learning model. The  study  used  pretest-posttest non equivalent design. Sample were X5 as experimental class and X3 as control  chosen from population using  randomized block  sampling technique. Data of students problem solving skill was obtained using  pretest and posttest, while data of  students` learning activities was observed and the data obtained was statistically analyzed using t-test with SPSS 17 program.The study  showed  that there was  improvement of students` problem solving skills  with  61.67 N-gain score. The GI learning model effected  students` problem solving significantly espescially on three aspects such as  identifying problem, formulating problem, and giving alternative solution.The GI learning model also  affected students` learning activities significantly on the students  expressing opinions / ideas  skill and discussions. The study concluded that the GI  learning models can improve students' problem solving skills and enhance student learning activities on environmental pollution and conservation concepts.Key words:     Group Investigation (GI) learning model, problem solving skills, learning activities, environmental pollution, environmental conservation.

Abstract

This study described the result of science learning implementation assessment, that is based on 2013 curriculum. Samples of study was teacher who teaches 4thgrade that chosen by purposive sampling. Data has gotten from learning activity observation list that was compares with proccessing standard, sciencetific approach, and tematic integration. The result showed that implementation of 4th grade learning activity had suitability with proccessing standard the average was 68,03% at medium category. suitablewith the sciencetific approach average was 71,5% at high category and tematic integration, average was 68,75% athigh category. Therefore science learning implementation based on 2013 curriculumin Enggal district was medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kurikulum 2013. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar kelas IV yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dibandingkan dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik dan tematik integratif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas IV memilikikesesuaian dengan standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 68,03% berkategori sedang,sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 71,5% berkategori tinggi dan telah sesuai dengan pembelajaran tematik integratifdengan persentase skor rata-rata 68,75% berkategori tinggi. Dari semua data yang didapatkan maka dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SD kecamatan Enggal berkategori Sedang.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses,tematik integratif

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of PBL model towards critical thinking and students learning activity. The sample of this research were students of VIIB and VIID SMP Nusantara Bandar Lampung that were chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design. The quantitative data were obtained from the critical thinking improvement that was analyzed by using T-Test and U-Test. The qualitative data were gained from students observation sheet and student responses about PBL model. The result showed that critical thinking in experiment class with N-gain average (46,18) was significantly different with class control (36,95). Students activity in problem identification, argumentation, induction, and deduction were in average criteria. While the evaluation activity was in low criteria. Therefore, PBL influenced critical thinking and students learning activity on the material of environmentals management.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIB dan VIID SMP Nusantara Bandar Lampung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Data kuantitatif berupa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil peningkatan Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain 46,18 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (36,95). Aktivitas merumuskan masalah, induksi, deduksi, dan argumen berkriteria sedang. Sedangkan evaluasi berkriteria rendah. Sehingga, penerapan model PBL berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi peran manusia dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Abstract

The results showed thatstudents inall aspects ofthe activityobserved in theexperimental classesincreased.In the aspect ofvalue85.71%ask, answeraspectworth89.29%, and theaspects oftheir ideas/ opinionsworth86.90%. Mastery of the material also increased, withan averagevalueof 20pretest,posttestvaluesfor 60andN-gain of 0.09.Questionnairedatashowsthatall students(100%) felt happyandinterested incooperative learning modeltypeTGT.  Key words :TGT, activities, students'mastery of the material.

Abstract

Data were obtained from learning activity observation list that was compared with proccessing standard, scientific approach, and tematic integration. The result showed that implementation of 4th grade learning activity had suitability with proccessing standard the average was 71,91% in medium category. Suitable with the sciencetific approach has average 68,29% in medium category and tematic integration has average 80,59% in high category. Therefore science learning implementation based on 2013 curriculum in Tanjungkarang district was medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kurikulum 2013. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Tanjungkarang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi gambaran implementasi kurikulum 2013 yang dilakukan oleh guru berdasarkan dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik dan tematik integratif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas IV memiliki kesesuaian dengan standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 71,91% berkategori sedang,sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 68,29% berkategori sedang dan telah sesuai dengan pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan persentase skor rata-rata 80,59% berkategori tinggi. Abstract

This research purpose was to know the influence of Anotrus 3D media toward the students activities and learning outcomes.The research used non equivalent pretest posttest design. The samples were students of VIIIA and VIIIB class that were selected by purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained from learning activities observation sheets and students questionnaire responses that were analyzed descriptively. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of test that were analyzed by using t- and U-test. The results showed that the average of learning outcomes in experiment class was higher than control (experiment= 71,85; control = 54,48). The average of student learning activities percentage in all observed aspects in experiment class also showed higher improvement than control (experiment = 78,26; control = 66,33). Therefore, Anotrus 3D media could improve the students activities and learning outcomes on subject matter of the Human Motion Systems.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media 3D Anotrus terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis se-cara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes dianalisis meng-gunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (eksperimen = 71,85; kontrol = 54,48). Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa semua aspek kelas eksperimen juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi (eksperimen = 78,26; kontrol = 66,33). Dengan demikian, penggunaan media 3D Anotrus dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok sistem gerak manusia.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media 3D Anotrus, sistem gerak manusia

Abstract

Rational thinking skill is one of the result learning demand which should be owned by each student. The result of observation in class VIII of Junior High School 19 Bandar Lampung was known that student’s rational thinking skill didn’t develop in an optimal fashion yet. Objective of this research is have cognize of efectivity of using biology slide media through Jigsaw’s cooperative learning type in enhancement of student’s rational thinking skill in Plant Tissue Structure and Function Mainly Description. This research is a quasi experiment with pretest-postest non equivalent group design. Samples of research are student class VIII G and VIII H which are chosen by cluster random sampling. Quantitative datas are obtained from average of pretest, posttest, and N-gain which are analyzed statistically using t-testand U-test in 5% confidence degrees through program of SPSS 17. Qualitative datas include student’s learning activities and conceptions of using of biology slide media through Jigsaw’s cooperative learning type in enhancement of student’s rational thinking skill in Plant Tissue Structure and Function Mainly Description.. Result of research shows that largely student give positive conceptions of using of biology slide media through Jigsaw’s cooperative learning type. But then, this case isn’t in line with learning result was gotten by student. The average of student’s rational thinking skill improvement in class experiment is lower than control (experiment=14,63%; control=22,59%). Beside that, percentage average of improvement of student’s activities in all observed aspects in class experiment is also lower than control (experiment=66,67%; control=79,17%). Thereby, using of biology slide media through Jigsaw’s cooperative learning type isn’t effective to enhance of student’s rational thinking skill in Plant Tissue Structure and Function Mainly Description. Keywords: Jigsaw’s cooperative learning type, rational thinking skill, Plant Tissue Structure and Function.

Abstract

This reserach was aimed to find out the improvement of students activity and learning outcomes in environmental management subject matter through active learning model. The design of this research was pretest-postest non equivalent. The quantitative data were students learning outcomes which were collected from pretest dan posttest score. The analysis of quantitative data used normality test, homogeneity test, t1-test, t2-test and U-test. Qualitative data, were sudents learning activity data which were obtained from students observation sheet and analyzed descriptively. The results of this research showed that active learning model can improved students learning outcomes, it was shown by the average of N-gain on experiment class (68,6) which was higher then control class (33,6) and it was different significantly. Observation result of students activity has good criteria (86,11 %). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok pengelolaan lingkungan melalui model pembelajaran active learning. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretes-postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t1, uji t2 dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi siswa dengan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran active learning yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model active learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 68,6 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 33,6. Hasil rata-rata persentase observasi aktivitas belajar siswa memiliki kriteria baik 86,11%. Kata kunci: active learning, aktivitas, hasil belajar

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the teachers ability in designing lesson plan of science subject at class seven in Junior High School Bandar Lampung. Research design used descriptive research were qualitative data. Sample of this research were six science teachers were chosen by using purposive sampling. The result of the research showed that teacher ability in designing science lesson plan of curriculum 2013 have 84,28% with high criteria includes the ability of teachers to write down the identity of subjects, formulating the indicator, formulate the learning objectives, the selection of teaching materials, the selection of learning resources, learning media selection, specify model of learning, learning scenarios. So, the teachers ability in high criteria designing lesson plan was in high criteria on Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam membuat Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA kelas VII SMP di Bandar Lampung. Desain penelitian, yaitu penelitian deskriptif sederhana dengan berupa data kualitatif. Sampel penelitian,yaitu 6 guru mata pelajaran IPA yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan enam guru IPA kelas VII SMP dalam membuat RPP berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 memperoleh persentase rata-rata 84,28% berkriteria tinggi meliputi kemampuan guru dalam menuliskan identitas mata pelajaran, merumuskan indikator, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, pemilihan materi ajar, pemilihan sumber belajar, pemilihan media belajar, menentukan model pembelajaran, dan skenario pembelajaran. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan guru IPA SMP di Bandar Lampung dalam membuat RPP berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 berkriteria tinggi.Kata kunci: IPA, kemampuan guru, kurikulum 2013, RPP
