Abstract

This development research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together with peer tutoring in terms of students' mathematical communication skills. The cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together is a learning model through a small group of 4-6 students who learn together to share ideas in resolving the problems. The peer tutors are students who are chosen from a group that hold duties as a mentor and tutor among them. The research data obtained through posttest. The subjects of this research were students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in second semester of academic year of 2015/2016. The research method of follow the steps Bord and Gall. The data analysis in this research is quantitative. The results of the data proved floating on cooperative learning NHT with peer tutors more than 92% of students compared to the NHT class 32% of students reached the KKM. The results of research concluded cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together with peer tutoring effective to improve students mathematical communication skills. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan tutor sebaya ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Pengembangan Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together merupakan model pembelajaran melalui kelompok kecil terdiri dari 4-6 siswa yang saling bekerja sama untuk saling berbagi ide dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Tutor sebaya dipilih dari seorang siswa yang berasal dari teman-teman kelompoknya yang memegang tugas sebagai mentor dan tutor dikalangannya sendiri. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian ini mengikuti langkah-langkah Bord dan Gall. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil data membuktikan pengambangan pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan tutor sebaya lebih dari 92% siswa dibandingkan pada kelas NHT 32% siswa mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan tutor sebaya efektif meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, Numbered Heads Together, tutor sebaya

Abstract

Family Planning (FP) participation is the most important thing in the family planning program in Indonesia. Based on the baseline study, family planning participations in 6 in Argomulyo village covered 533 couples (59.22 %) of 900 total couple of reproductive age. Knowledge is one of the factors that causes reproductive age couples to join the family planning program. Knowledge is used as the basis of actions to solve problems and this was the result of knowing after the people recognice an object. Knowledge about family planning is expected to cause the participation of reproductive age couples in the family planning program. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the knowledge level of family planning participation in reproductive age couples in Argomulyo village, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta 2014. Study design was observational analytic with cross sectional aproach. Technique sampling used was total sampling of reproductive age couples in Argomulyo village, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta resulted on 907 respondents. Data was colected by interview using the questionnaire. The analysis used was chi-square. The result of chi-square test showed a p-value 0.318>(0.05) and coefficients contingency of 0.05 so knowledge level had no relationship with FP participation. Knowledge level was 71.00% good, while the highest participation of family planning in the majority of with fair level enough was 68.8%, in addition, the highest proportion of couples who did not participate in FP program was 41.8%. In Conclusion, there was no significant relationship between the knowledge level about family planning and the participation of the family planning in reproductive age couples in Argomulyo village, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta year 2014.

Abstract

Data of community practices in 2013 at the Argomulyo village known that total of reproductive age couples were 900 couples and 533 couples (59,22%) following family planning (FP). The purpose of this study was to know the relationship between the education level of reproductive age couples with FP participation and selection of contraceptives on reproductive age couples in the Argomulyo village, Sedayu, Bantul Yogyakarta. The study design was observational analytic with the cross sectional. The total population of reproductive age couples in hamlet of Kemusuk Kidul, Karang lo, Pedes, Surobayan, Kali Berot in the Argomulyo village, Sedayu Bantul were 916 couples. Samples were selected by total sampling technique which consisted of 907 couples and 9 couples included in the exclusion criteria. Data analysis was done by chi-square test. The results showed that 610 couples (67,3%) was following FP and 297 couples (32,7%) not following FP programs. The results of chi-square x2 of wife participation was 3,658 and selection of contraceptives was 50,194, x2 of husband participation was 0,926 and selection of contraceptives was 53,862. In conclusion, there was no relationship between the education level of reproductive age couples with FP participation and there was a relationship between the education level of reproductive age couples with selection of contraceptives in Argomulyo village, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penurunan angka kematian bayi di Indonesia belum belum mencapai target 8 tujuan emas MDG’S. Pada tahun 2010 penyebab kasus kematian neonatal terbanyak disebabkan karena bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) dan kasus terbanyak terjadi di Kabupaten Bantul. Ibu hamil dengan anemia merupakan faktor resiko kejadian BBLR, sedangkan kasus anemia yang paling sering dijumpai pada ibu hamil adalah akibat kekurangan zat besi.Pemberian tablet Fe minimal 90 tablet dapat mengatasi anemia kekuarangan zat besi pada ibu hamil. Penelitian case control ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kepatuhan Ibu hamil mengkonsumsi tablet Fe dengan kejadian bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR). Sampel penelitian adalah 132 ibu melahirkan di RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul  terdiri dari 66 Ibu yang melahirkan bayi BBLR sebagai kelompok kasus dan 66 Ibu yang melahirkan bayi tidak BBLR sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil pengumpulan data didapatkan 53% sampel masih mengkonsumsi tablet Fe kurang dari 90 tablet. Hasil analisa data dengan uji statistik didapatkan hasil OR= 2,09 (95%CI [1,040–4,194]) dan x=4,38 dengan p-value=0,036. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara tingkat kepatuhan ibu hamil mengkonsumsi tablet Fe dengan kejadian Bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) dengan resiko ibu hamil yang mengkonsumsi tablet Fe kurang dari 90 tablet mempunyai resiko 2,1 kali lebih besar untuk melahirkan bayi BBLR dibandingkan dengan ibu yang mengkonsumsi tablet Fe 90 tablet atau lebih.

Abstract

Demographic Health Survey Indonesia in 2012, maternal mortality (AKI) is still high 359/100,000 live births, while the target of the MDGs by 2015, AKI can be reduced to 102 per 100,000 live births (SDKI, 2012). The direct cause of maternal mortality in Indonesia is bleeding (28%), eklamsi (24%), infection (11%), birth time (5%) and abort (5%) (Department of Health, 2010). The Purpose of this descriptive quantitative research is to identify the level of knowledge of childbearing mother on perineal suture infection in Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul. This study was conducted at the hospital panembahan senopati bantul on 14-29 June 2014 with 38 samples determined by accidental sampling techniques. Research instrument used in this study was questioner. The result was of 30 respondents unrisk age (78,94%);respondent with the parity more than one children was 23 or 60,52%; mostly respondents were graduated from high school at 23 (60,52%); they were mostly household at 32 people (84,21%); and respondents had good level of knowledge on perineal infection at 26 people (68,42%). Conclusion, postpartum mothers in Panembahan Senopati Hospital have good level of knowledge on perineal suture infection.

Abstract

Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the District of Sewon still low, either because they are less optimal role of KP motivator. They lack of confi dence in dealing with problems in breastfeeding. The research objective was to analyze the effect of the use of a handbook by the motivator of the knowledge and skills motivator in dealing with problems in exclusive breastfeeding in the District of Sewon Bantul. This research is pre experiment with the design of nonequivalent one group pre test and post test design. The population was Motivator KP Capital in District Sewon many as 50 people. Collecting data through questionnaires and observations then performed univariate analysis (descriptive), bivariate (Paired T test). The results of research showed that the respondent’s average age was 46.74. Education respondents mostly high school was 25 people, most of the respondents did not work that 31 people (62%). Motivator knowledge prior to intervention use a pocket book value of the average was 64,5 while the value after the intervention mean value is 72.1. Motivator skills during pretest score was 57.6 at, while the second posttest mean value is 64.65. There was the effect of using a pocket book support group of mothers about breastfeeding, the problem of skills variable (p-value=0.0001) means the use of a paperback book motivators influencing skills in breastfeeding issues. Suggested for Health Department and Community Health Center in order to develop a motivator as refresher training for, to improve the knowledge and skills motivator in breastfeeding issues so as to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student thinking styles in solving mathematical problems in integer count operations material through the Realistic Mathematical Approach (PMRI) assisted by colored paper media. This research method is a qualitative method. Data collection instruments using test, observation and documentation. Learning at the primary school level tends to be textbook oriented and conventional so that it requires student learning innovation that can facilitate mathematics learning. The realistic mathematics approach (PMRI) is one of the innovations that connect student real world with learning mathematics in solving mathematical problems. In the world of education, the characteristics of students' thinking styles in learning are not taken into account, which should be considered in learning. Peaget's development theory states that elementary school students fall into the category of concrete operations stages so that researchers use colored paper media to assist students in understanding the operations of addition and subtraction of integers.
