Abstract

This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to describe students mathematical critical thinking disposition in Socrates Contextual learning at the material of Linear Equations and Inequalities of One Variable. The subjects of this research were students of VII B class of SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung. Through purposive sampling techniques, it was chosen eleven students who was described their critical thinking disposition. The research data were obtained by observation, critical thinking disposition scale techniques, interviews and documentation. Before analyzing the data, researcher did the triangulation of data by interview. The data analysis techniques used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conclusion of data. The results of this research was the students' mathematical critical thinking dispositions only appears on some students. For most of the other students, dispositions which appeared were not critical thinking disposition.Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linier Satu Variabel. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung. Melalui teknik purposive sampling terpilihlah sebelas siswa yang dideskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritisnya. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, teknik skala disposisi berpikir kritis, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sebelum menganalisis data, peneliti melakukan triangulasi data melalui wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa hanya muncul pada beberapa siswa. sebagian besar siswa lainnya memunculkan disposisi yang muncul bukan merupakan disposisi berpikir kritis.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, Socrates Kontekstual

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis potensi dan kontribusi pajak reklame dalam meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah Kota Palembang. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Badan Pengelolaan Pajak Daerah Kota Palembang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah potensi dan kontribusi pajak reklame. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan jenis studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap seluruh data yang diperoleh di Badan Pengelolaan Pajak Daerah Kota Palembang, dapat diambil beberapa kesimpulan antara lain penerimaan pajak reklame di Kota Palembang memiliki potensi yang cukup besar terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Palembang, potensi penerimaan  pajak reklame pada tahun 2020 adalah sebesar Rp 21.290.052.939. Kontribusi yang diberikan pajak reklame terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Palembang masih tergolong “sangat kurang” karena rasio kontribusi yang diberikan pada tahun 2016 sampai tahun 2019 rata-rata kurang dari 10%. Upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan penerimaan pajak reklame terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Palembang dengan melakukan pendataan secara rutin terhadap objek pajak reklame yang baru dan yang sudah ada, serta melakukan penyuluhan/sosialisasi kepada Wajib Pajak agar melaksanakan kewajiban perpajakannya dengan baik dan benar. Kata Kunci : Potensi, Kontribusi, Pajak Reklame, Pendapatan Asli Daerah ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the analysis of the potential and contribution of advertisement tax in increasing the original income of Palembang City. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted at the Regional Tax Management Agency of Palembang City.The variable in this study is the potential and contribution of advertisement tax. The data used are secondary data with data collection techniques using the type of study of literature and documentation.Based on the results of research conducted on all data obtained at the Palembang City Regional Tax Management Agency, several conclusions can be drawn including advertisement tax revenue in the city of Palembang having considerable potential towards the Original Revenue of the City of Palembang, the potential for advertisement tax revenue in 2020 is Rp.21,290,052,939. The contribution of advertisement tax to Palembang's Original Local Revenue is still classified as "very less" because the ratio of contributions made in 2016 to 2019 is on average less than 10%. Efforts to increase the advertisement tax revenue of Palembang's Original Local Revenue by routinely collecting data on new and existing advertisement tax objects, and conducting counseling / socialization to taxpayers to carry out their tax obligations properly and correctly.Keywords : Potential, Contributions, Advertisement Tax, Local Revenue

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use and meaning of figurative language (majas) in poetry. The sample of this study is ten poems from two different writers of the era, namely Shakespeare and Wordsworth. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and an objective approach used to analyze data. Figurative language (majas) was analyzed based on theories from Wren and Martin and also analyzed the meaning of each figurative language (majas) that had been discovered. The figurative language (majas) found is presented in tabular form. From the data analysis, all figurative languages ??(majas) were found in Shakespeare's five poems except Euphemism and Irony. In Wordsworth's poem, all figurative languages ??(majas) are found except Synecdoche and Irony. From the figurative language (majas) that has been found and from the author's background, it has been concluded that Shakespeare is a Poetic person, he usually uses some beautiful words. Meanwhile, Wordsworth is a Romantic person. He usually talks about love, feelings and even sadness which is always associated with the loss of someone he loves.

Abstract

This study analyzed the proportion of language skills in English textbook using descriptive quantitative method. This study aimed to find out the proportion of language skills in English textbook grade XI published by Kemendikbud 2014, and to find out the suitability of language skills in English textbook grade XI published by Kemendikbud 2014 and the goal of English subject's syllabus for Senior High School. The object of this research was English textbook for grade XI (Senior High School) published by Kemendikbud 2014 (1st and 2nd semester). The instrument used was evaluation checklist to collect the data about the proportion of language skills. The result showed that the textbook focuses more on writing skills (35%), grammar (32%), speaking (25%), reading (7%), and listening had the lowest proportion of (1%). The result of the evaluation showed that this textbook represent the writing skill that integrated with other skills. This textbook has the appropriate proportion on  two  skills (writing and speaking) however, it has inappropriate proportion on other two skills (listening and reading).

Abstract

This research aimed to find out childhood good values in C.S. Lewis’s Novel The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and their implications for education. The research was carried out by employing a descriptive qualitative method of library research. The data were collected by reading and analyzing the novel thoroughly. The results of the study revealed that there were several childhood good values in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader novel such as obedience, honesty, imagination, pleasure, kinship, bravery, regret, intelligence, helpfulness, forgiveness, and friendship. Nevertheless, there were also some bad values namely annoyance, selfishness, and greediness. The good values in the novel were basically universal, so they were congruent with the 2013 Curriculum in term of spiritual and social competencies. Thus, they implied that they can be used as teaching materials and source of references to teach both competencies

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out and explain the characteristics of women character, to know how the novel portrayed the women and how Indonesian women on education portrayed. According to the data, the researcher gets the result that show characteristics of 3 major women characters. Daisy Buchanan has two characteristics, there are Pessimistic and Materialistic, Jordan Baker also has two, Masculine and Worried, and the last is Myrtle Wilson is Materialistic. Besides that, the researcher also explains the portrayal of women in the novel and relate it to the 1920s era where does the novel come from. The researcher also compared and portrayed the characteristics of American women in the novel and Indonesian women characters.
