Abstract

Dalam interaksi instruksional, seorang dosen dituntut mampu membangun harmoni di kelas sehingga terbangun suasana kelas yang kondusif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bercerita sebagai realisasi strategi kesantunan positif Brown dan Levinson dalam interaksi instruksional di kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah enam orang dosen Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. Data penelitian berupa ujaran dosen dalam perkuliahan.  Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik rekam dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif mengikuti model alir Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan cerita yang digunakan meliputi cerita tentang diri dosen, cerita tentang mahasiswa, cerita tentang pengalaman dosen, dan cerita tentang tokoh/sikap tokoh. Selain berfungsi membangun kedekatan hubungan dengan interaktan, strategi bercerita juga berfungsi untuk menanamkan nilai karakter dan untuk memotivasi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai karakter dalam ajaran Hasta Brata nilai karakter yang bersumber pada laku atau watak alam yang berjumlah delapan laku atau watak, yaitu laku atau watak yang dimiliki Surya (matahari); Candra (Bulan); Sudama (Bintang); Maruta/Angin (Udara yang bergerak); Mendhung (Awan hujan); Dahana (Api); Tirta/Samudra (Air); pratala (Tanah); Pada dasarnya delapan laku atau delapan watak ini adalah laku atau watak yang harus dijalankan oleh seseorang yang berkedudukan sebagai pemimpin yang bersumberkan pada unsur-unsur yang berasal dari alam, namun nilai karakter ini juga bisa diterapkan pada manusia pada umumnya. Dalam rangka pembangunan karakter bangsa, nilai karakter yang berasal dari ajaran Hasta Brata ini dikontribusikan pada pengamalan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa Indonesia yang merupakan sumber utama pembentukan karakter bagi bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide training on the development of power point learning media as interactive learning for teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Kecamatan Taman, Sidoarjo Regency. The service method used includes lectures, questions and answers, discussions and practice. The steps for the Community Service program are 1) Compile and develop training materials, 2) Training Phase, 3) Practice stage for assisting the creation of interactive media in the form of power points. Community service has been carried out showing that the training that has been carried out in activities can improve the ability of Muhammadiyah 1 Taman SMA teachers for the development of knowledge and analysis and creativity in making power points as interactive media as learning media in SMA

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 banyak membawa perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia. Salah satu pengaruh besar terjadi pada dunia pendidikan. Pasca pandemi atau seringkali dikenal dengan masa new normal, pembelajaran tidak begitu saja kembali menjadi klasikal melainkan dipadukan dengan pembelajaran secara online yang dikenal dengan istilah blended learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan Elkid sebagai LMS dengan model blended learning di Era New Normal. Jenis penelitian ini yakni pengembangan dan penelitian (R&D). Pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu padamodel 4D Thiagarajan yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tesebut dinyatakan bahwa media e-learning berbasis LMS di SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di masa mendatang dan memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan pengetahuan akademik peserta didik dan prasarana digital untuk pembelajaran online.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe planning, implementation, evaluation, inhibiting factors and inhibiting factors as well as efforts to resolve obstacles to online learning of class V mathematics at SDN Gugus 4, Bagor District, Nganjuk Regency. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research using data collection techniques through questionnaires, observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The research respondents were teachers, parents and students at SDN Gugus 4, Bagor District, Nganjuk Regency, with a total of 142 students, 6 teachers and 5 parents. The results of the study showed that (1) the teacher had carried out the planning of online learning for the fifth grade mathematics subject as outlined in the form of lesson plans, (2) the implementation of online learning for the fifth grade mathematics subject could be carried out properly where students stated that the teacher had managed online learning well, the responses and activities of students are happy, they can prepare themselves, they are actively involved, where the learning outcomes obtained are good, (3) The evaluation of online learning for the fifth grade mathematics subject has been carried out by the teacher who can explain that the learning carried out runs effectively with increase in learning outcomes of class V mathematics subject, (4) Supporting factors for online learning of class V mathematics subject, namely the existence of an internet network, the ability of human resources to carry out management related to online learning, (5) Factors inhibiting online learning of class V mathematics subject complained of by teachers, parents of students a and students are unstable networks, and (6) Efforts that can be made by the teacher are conducting learning using multimedia such as video, audio, CD-ROM based and collaborating with parents of students related to supervising students when conducting online learning at home.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is now faced with the destruction of the younger generation. The younger generation is now influenced by many things that give rise to a prolonged moral crisis. An example of a moral crisis that often occurs is littering which causes the environment to become dirty. Based on some critical moral examples, it can be proven that a person's behavior in caring for the right environment in this day and age is very weakened. From the various problems that occur, it is necessary to strengthen character education from an early age, especially the character of caring for the environment in order to become a responsible and disciplined person. The purpose of this study is to examine information related to the forms of instillation of character values caring for the environment of students at Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong High School widely and thoroughly and also to identify the role of teachers and school residents in strengthening the cultivation of environmentally caring character values of class XI students at Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong High School clearly. Researchers in this study used descriptive qualitative methods and for data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of this study the author reported that the cultivation of the character value of caring for the environment of class XI students at Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong High School has been carried out well as well, always cleaning the classroom, picketting according to the schedule that has been made, the classroom is clean and fragrant, a gift for the class that gets the cleanest class.

Abstract

The Indonesian state is currently faced with destruction, especially in the world of education. The devastation is a moral crisis that occurs among students. An example of a moral crisis that often occurs among students is a brawl between students, not obeying the rules of discipline in schools. Based on several examples of this moral crisis, it can be proven that a person's behavior in being disciplined properly and correctly in the present has been greatly weakened. From the various problems that entangle the younger generation now, it needs to be minimized by the existence of character education, especially disciplinary character in order to become a person who is responsible for obeying the surrounding regulations. The purpose of this study is to examine the forms of instillation of disciplinary character values of class X students at Sidoarjo Antarctica High School as a whole and also to identify the role of teachers and parents in strengthening the cultivation of disciplinary character values of class X students at Sidoarjo Antarctic High School clearly. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to find data on the cultivation of disciplinary character values of class X students at Sidoarjo Antarctica High School and the data were taken through observations on the implementation of discipline, interviews with class x students, teachers, parents, and supporting documentation. The results of this study obtained that the cultivation of disciplinary character values of class X students at Sidoarjo Antarctic High School has been carried out well as well, arriving at school on time and wearing uniforms according to school regulations, always maintaining order. In this implementation, there is also an important role of teachers and parents who succeed in educating the character of discipline in students.

Abstract

Content creators appear in various digital media with a variety of works either writing, images, videos, or two combinations of material. In the digital era, which is inseparable from social media among teenagers, it provides a great opportunity for content creators to be creative by making it a business field. The purpose of community service is to motivate teenagers in Banjar Kemuning Village to create business opportunities as content creators. Methods used with lectures. The result of community service is that the training of creator business opportunities among millennial teenagers provides a way to earn income by becoming content creators on social media.

Abstract

National character is an important pillar in the life of the nation and state. If the nation does not have national character, it will be difficult for the nation to become independent. One of the many characters that are applied is a religious character. The value of religious character is a value that is closely related to Belief in One Almighty God. Religious values in character education are very important because they become part of a person's belief in a true value that comes from the religion he believes in or adheres to and can be a strong motivation in building good character in a person both spiritually and naturally. The need for this character value is owned especially for students at SMAN 1 Menganti so that a person with good morals is formed.The purpose of this study was to examine the forms of instilling religious character values for class X students at SMAN 1 Menganti Gresik as a whole and also to identify the teacher's role in strengthening the inculcation of religious character values for class X students at SMAN 1 Menganti Gresik. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to find data on the inculcation of religious character values for class X students at SMAN 1 Menganti Gresik and the data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained if the inculcation of the religious character values of students in class X at SMAN 1 Menganti had been carried out properly such as scheduling sunnah prayer activities, celebrating major religious events, getting used to behaving politely to everyon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) perbedaan dan pengaruh penggunaan media video dan media gambar terhadap kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text Siswa Kelas X; 2) perbedaan dan pengaruh gaya belajar visual dan gaya belajar auditorial yang dimiliki siswa terhadap kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text Siswa Kelas X, dan 3) interaksi dan pengaruh penggunaan media dan gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text siswa kelas X yang memiliki gaya belajar berbeda di SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen dengan populasi dan sampel penelitian siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan tes serta teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalur. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh bahwa 1) Nilai FA (penerapan pembelajaran) = 14,94 dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari ? < 0,05 yaitu 0,000, dengan df1 = 1 dan df2 = 118 didapatkan nilai F tabel = 3,95 sehingga dapat dijelaskan bahwa F hitung > F tabel, artinya ada perbedaan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text pada siswa di masing-masing kelas antara yang diajar dengan menggunakan media video dengan yang diajar menggunakan media gambar di SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya, 2) Nilai FB (Faktor 2/Gaya belajar siswa) = 4,479, dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari ? < 0,05 yaitu 0,036, dengan df1 = 1 dan df2 = 118 didapatkan nilai F tabel = 3,95 sehingga dapat dijelaskan bahwa F hitung > F tabel, artinya ada perbedaan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text antara siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dan gaya belajar auditorial di SMA 12 Surabaya dan 3) Nilai FAB (faktor 1 dan 2) didapatkan nilai F hitung sebesar 8,817 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,004, perbandingan dengan F tabel dan taraf signifikan ? = 0,05; (8,817 > 3,95), sehingga dapat dijelaskan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model media video dan media gambar terhadap kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Narrative Text ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa yang berbeda di SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya.
