Abstract

Abstrak: Evaluasi Isi Buku Teks Pelajaran Sejarah pada Masa Orde Baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mjengevaluasi isi buku teks sejarah untuk sekolah menengah pada masa Order Baru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan fokus pada analisis isi buku teks sejarah. Analisis dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kriteria Sartono dalam menulis sejarah nasional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas buku teks sejarah sudah berkembang tetapi masih perlu perbaikan dalam hal pendekatan, kesamaan, dan integrasi nasional. Kata Kunci: evaluasi, pelajaran sejarah, buku teks, kesamaan, integrasi nasionalAbstract: An Evaluation of The History Textbooks in The New Order Era. This study aimed to evaluate the content of history textbooks for high schools in the New Order era. The research method used was qualitative, focusing on the content analysis of history textbooks. The analysis and evaluation used Sartono’s criteria of writing the national history. The findings showed that the quality of history textbooks had already developed, but it needed improvement in approach, equity and national integration. Abstract

An important problem that is often neglected in the study of Indonesian history today is the lack of discussion of the local historical context. History teachers are often fixated on the material presented in lks and course textbooks. Like a lack of attention to historical events that have happened around. For this reason, it is necessary to introduce local historical material to increase students' historical awareness, such as material on the local history of the struggle of the Mobrig troops in Yogyakarta. The research methodology used to increase students' historical awareness is descriptive qualitative. This method is carried out by distributing a questionnaire containing questions about historical awareness. The findings obtained at SMK N 1 Pengasih Kulon Progo show that the historical awareness of students has increased, this can be seen after the researcher gave a questionnaire before and after providing material on the Fight for Mobrig Troops in Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by providing local history material to students at SMK N 1 Pengasih Kulon Progo it can increase students' historical awareness.

Abstract

The role of the teacher is very important in shaping the character of students who have a sense of nationalism. The feeling of nationalism is something that must be held by everyone, especially by students, so that in the process of development it becomes an important capital in the survival of the nation and the state. This paper seeks to obtain information about the participation of history teachers in instilling students' nationalism. The results show that history teachers are very important in instilling an attitude of nationalism in students because the teacher is an example, the teacher is an inspiration, the teacher is a motivator, and the teacher is an evaluator. In learning history itself, the modeling of the character of nationalism is mainly discussed. The method used in this research is the study of literature or library research and by conducting observational studies from previous studies. Library research, Researchers study and collect data through several kinds of literature and reading sources that support and are relevant to research. In this case, literature research is carried out through books, magazines,  internet.

Abstract

Leaders have their own unique and distinctive traits, habits, temperament, character, and personality so that their behavior and style can be distinguished from others. This style or lifestyle will color his behavior and type of leadership. Leadership refers to someone influencing the behavior of others for a purpose. With power, leaders can influence the behavior of their subordinates. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of leaders and effective leadership styles. Ideal leadership is a dream or a hope for every organization. There are 8 (eight) ideal leadership characteristics, namely: honest, intelligent, responsible, visionary, correct, disciplined behavior, initiative and, direct. Character is the key to an organization's success. An organization will move forward or backward depending on the leader. Because the leader is the one who directs and determines the organizational objectives to be achieved. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi abad 21 turut memengaruhi orientasi peralihan paradigma pendidikan dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda yang adaptif terhadap pergulatan zaman. Berbeda dengan cabang ilmu eksakta maupun humaniora lain yang bersentuhan dengan isu mutakhir, pembelajaran sejarah dengan segala urgensinya menemui kendala klasik terkait image pengetahuan yang usang karena hanya berkutat pada pengetahuan masa lampau tanpa ada relevansi kehidupan masa kini. Oleh sebab itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara kritis pentingnya keterampilan 4C abad 21 serta cara untuk menginternalisasikannya dalam pembelajaran sejarah agar tetap terjaga eksistensinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis-deskriptif serta menghimpun informasi menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan 4C abad 21 dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran sejarah serta dapat diinternalisasikan dengan mengubah model pembelajaran dari konvensional “teacher-sentris” menjadi berciri abad 21 “student-centris”. Beberapa model yang dimaksud, antara lain project based learning, problem based learning, inquiry learning dan discovery learning. Selain itu dari tinjauan materi pembelajaran juga mengalami transformasi berupa bentuk materi dari berbasis kertas ke internet serta konten yang lebih memandang isu-isu kontemporer dan menekankan nilai-nilai karakter dari setiap peristiwa sejarah dibanding sekadar menghapal kronologi peristiwa sejarah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the kind of kenduri tradition as local culture with various contexts of life in the history learning material and then actualization of the interpersonal skills with kenduri tradition in the history learning process in high school 1 Boyolali, Boyolali regency, Central Java, Indonesia. This study is a qualitative study using a case study approach. The data was collected through interview and observation with a history teacher. The researcher also analyzed a history teacher lesson plans, work plan on 2021 year, and medium-term project plans on 2021-2024 years as the part of data triangulation. The data analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques consisted of three stages: data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. This study showed that the kind of kenduri tradition in history learning material is relevant to actualize students' interpersonal skills that it is approach and collaboration skills. This study implicates additional history learning materials to integrate kenduri tradition as one of local wisdom in Central Java that to be well-designed by considering needs students' interpersonal skills during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the presentation quality of history textbooks used for the national curriculum 1975-2008. The function of the Presentation is to develop students' independent learning. The method used in this study is content analysis. Contents of the history textbooks were analyzed and assessed for presentation aspects using the textbook criteria developed by the Board of National Standards for Education. The result shows that attention for Presentation began on history textbooks for the 1984 curriculum and grew in the following periods of curriculums. The presentation aspects of the history textbook achieved their peak on the 2006 curriculum, where the Board established textbook criteria in selecting textbooks for Indonesian schools.
