Abstract

Curriculum always develops following the current times. the change of curriculum implementation encountered many obstacles both from schools, teachers and students. . This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires.   this research aims to identify the problems of teachers in implementing the 2013 curricullum learning in elementary schools. this research is expected can give useful information about the 2013 curriculum problem on how the way the teacher teaches to improve the  teaching learning qualityThe results of the study show that the problems of teachers come from the government, teachers, and students. The problems of the teacher include learning media, learning materials, learning methods, and the integration of the lessons learned in thematic learning. Students' problems are adaptation to thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum. The conclusion is that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum with good teacher quality can improve learning in school.

Abstract

The children's ability on literacy is essential for their ability development and academical achievement. The purposes of this article are 1) describing fairy tale stories, 2) describing the culture of literacy reading, 3) describing fairy to grower of literacy for primary school students. The research method used was literature study. The data was obtained by doing research study towards some literatures, books, reports and notes included the research problems. The results of this research explains about 1) the description of fairy tale stories, 2) the description of the culture of literacy reading, 3)the description of the usage of fairy tale stories as the literacy culture for children in primary school. The conclusion of this research is that fairy tale is fictional, imaginative, morale and understandable story so that it could be used as an alternative in growing the literacy culture particularly literacy reading for primary school students.

Abstract

This article aims to create new innovations on learning models so that learning in elementary schools can take place effectively and be able to strengthen student character development. The research method used is literature study. Data collection is carried out with studies of books, literature, records, and reports relating to the problem being solved. Literature sources in this study were obtained from books, journals, and research results. This research includes the process of systematically identifying the theory, finding literature, and analyzing documents that contain information related to the research topic. The results of this study are in the form of learning models that can be applied by the teacher to achieve the learning objectives effectively and strengthen student character development.
