Abstract

This study aims to develop and apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the Pancasila (civic) education course with the aim of strengthening the attitudes, knowledge, and skills of students regarding Pancasila education. The research output produced is the publication of research results in scientific journals. The research instruments used in this study were a curiosity questionnaire and a description of the questions to test the students’ critical thinking skills. The subjects of the trial in this study were 55 sophomore students in the third semester. The effectiveness of the data analysis based on the results of the test was done by determining the percentage of students’ mastery learning and determining the gain score g in the class used as the research subject. Based on the achievement of mastery learning, classical learning reached 83.64% with the number of students 46 out of 55 students. Gain score g is 0.61 or is in the “moderate” category. Based on the results of tests of students’ critical thinking skills, the CTL approach was effective to improve students’ critical thinking skills. The achievement of students’ curiosity based on the results of the questionnaire is in the “very high” category, by the percentage reaching 72.73% or as many as 40 students from 55 students. In addition, the gain score g is 0.61 or is in the “moderate” category. Based on the curiosity questionnaire, it showed that the CTL approach is effective for developing a student’s curiosity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada mata kuliah pendidikan Pancasila dengan tujuan untuk memperkokoh sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan mahasiswa mengenai pendidikan Pancasila. Luaran penelitian yang dihasilkan adalah publikasi hasil penelitian pada jurnal ilmiah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket rasa ingin tahu dan soal uraian untuk uji kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester tiga (3) yang berjumlah 55 mahasiswa. Analisis data keefektivan berdasarkan hasil tes dilakukan dengan cara menentukan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik dan menentukan gain score g pada kelas yang dijadikan subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan pencapaian ketuntasan pembelajaran secara klasikal mencapai 83.64% dengan jumlah mahasiswa 46 dari 55 mahasiswa. Gain score g sebesar 0.61 atau berada pada kategori “sedang”. Berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CTL efektiv untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Ketercapaian rasa ingin tahu mahasiswa berdasarkan hasil angket pada kategori “sangat tinggi” yakni dengan persentase mencapai 72.73% atau sebanyak 40 mahasiswa dari 55 mahasiswa. Selain itu gain score g sebesar 0.61 atau berada pada kategori “sedang”. Berdasarkan angket rasa ingin tahu menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CTL efektif untuk mengembangkan rasa ingin tahu mahasiswa.

Abstract

The problem that occurs is a legal vacuum regarding the regulation of sanctions that can be imposed on women who dare to tempt married men (Pelakor) through national law. In Dayak indigenous people in Central Kalimantan, the Dayak Customary Law is enforced firmly, but is still not widely known. This research uses a type of qualitative empirical research, conducted by visiting the Kedamangan Institutions in Central Kalimantan and Dayak Customary Council (DAD) in Central Kalimantan. It can complement the national legal effort before the national legal implementation of RUU KUHP for Dayak Ngaju community in Central Kalimantan. The legal effort taken to ensnare the cheating woman’s action is the challenge of oath that is the most serious legal effort that can be conducted by the indigenous people of Dayak Ngaju tribe. They believe that the oath pronounced during the Basara Adat will be seriously for those who dare to lie.They might have a short life, no fortune and suffer from continuing illness for themselves and their descendants and siblings. Dayak Ngaju’s custom sanctions imposed for Pelakor is to pay twice the value of the customary marriage (dowry) of a man he arrogated to pay shame compensation for the woman's wife's legal family, pay compensation for the marriage costs for the legal wife and pay for the party peace.How to cite item: Pratiwi, P., Suprayitno, S., Triyani, T. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the positive prejudice against religious differences in the context of intergroup relation conflict resolution among junior high school students in Aceh Province. This study used a survey method by taking a sample of three schools. The researcher collected the data in State Junior High School 1 Banda Aceh, State Junior High School 2 Banda Aceh, and State Junior High School 19 Banda Aceh. The study results showed that 79 percent of students in problem solving did not look at their religious background, while 21 percent of students solved problems based on their religious background. The prejudice of 70 percent of students about the existence of religion was in a positive category. They tended to give the same treatment to friends with different religious backgrounds in solving a problem.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to develop a HOTS-based assessment tool oriented to critical digital citizenship on Pancasila as an ethical system and Pancasila as the basis for developing science and technology, namely the production of an assessment tool that focuses on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in students. The method used in this research is the type of development research (R&D) with stages of market needs analysis, development, testing, and product revision. The form of the implementation of this research can be described as (1) workshop on analysis of Pancasila course curriculum (learning outcomes, material substance, assessment tools that have been developed; (2) workshop on development of HOTS-based assessment tools in Pancasila courses oriented towards critical digital citizenship ; (3) FGD expert validation; (4) trial of HOTS-based assessment tool in Pancasila course is oriented towards critical digital citizenship; and (5) preparation of the final research report. The results of this research and development that is based on expert assessment (expert) to the assessment tool were developed which got a mean score of 3.6 in both categories so that used for the assessment process. Based on the results of trials and reflections on the HOTS-based assessment tool oriented to critical digital citizenship, it was found that, First, students are happier when learning uses audio-visual. Second, the learning video assessment tool makes them better understand in analyzing phenomena that occur in society related to the actualization of Pancasila values ​​in their daily lives and environment. Third, the questions contained in the video make students think critically. Fourth, this learning video makes students understand and realize that there are still many students ignorant in their actions to be able to apply the values ​​of Pancasila.

Abstract

Very important to provide understanding and awareness to students to manage religious differences into peace-loving characters. In Islamic education, it can be implemented in several ways, such as opposing violent methods and emphasizing the means of deliberation, upholding the values of togetherness, accepting the existence of various human attributes. The method of this study comprised of FGD in examining the curriculum of Islamic Education in Higher Education; developing Islamic Education curriculum models in strengthening the peace-loving character (the learning tools include syllabus, lesson plans, Media, and Evaluation). The results of the study demonstrated that the Islamic education curriculum in tertiary institutions was not yet oriented to human beings peace-loving character, and limited understanding was identified among the students regarding the implementation of that character in the classroom settings. The religious education provided at Palangka Raya University has not yet implemented interfaith education. It required the media to apply the students’ understanding regarding the nature of human differences in activities involving different religions on a project. The Islamic Education Learning Toolkit was based on a student-based problem project with interfaith discussion techniques, making students solve problems that occur in the environment involving all students of different religions who take religious courses in odd semester of 2019/2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin melihat permasalahan tentang pola hidup masyarakat Rumah Terapung (lanting) dan faktor penghambat dan penunjang kehidupan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan sungai sebagai sarana MCK di Kawasan RT 05 Pahandut Sebrang Kota Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif atau kualitatif. Didasarkan atas kenyataan yang sedang berlangsung sekarang". Instrumen yang digunakan adalah meliputi : lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data atau display data kemudian penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat rumah terapung masih menggunakan sungai sebagai sarana MCK oleh masyarakat setempat dikarenakan sulitnya merubah kebiasaan lama yang ada sejak zaman nenek moyang hingga sekarang yang menjadi turun temurun menggunakan sungai sebagai sarana MCK dan kehidupan sehari-hari terutama masyarakat pinggiran sungai Kahayan serta kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat mengenai dampak kebiasaan menggunakan air sungai sebagai sarana MCK terlebih untuk dikonsumsi menjadi air minum. Faktor penyebab lainnya yaitu masalah ekonomi yang masih lemah dan tidak adanya aliran air bersih di Pahandut Seberang yang bisa menunjang kebutuhan masyarakat rumah terapung. Kurangnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah serta dinas kesehatan mengenai dampak yang akan terjadi jika terus menerus menggunakan air sungai sebagai sarana MCK di Pahandut Seberang RT 05 Kota Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, implement, and evaluate a mini research model of observing individual development in developing higher-order thinking skills. The method used descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative research data were obtained from the observation sheet on the achievement of the learning process which included the teaching activity observation sheet for lecturers, and the observation sheet for student learning activities, and the assessment of the results of the mini research model. The Results of mini research activities were carried out with group activities in teaching services, surveys, observations, and interviews. Mini research products include: 1) Physical development: average height, weight, puberty for boys and girls; 2) Cognitive development can be seen from the understanding of the values ​​of Pancasila; 3) Emotional and moral development can be seen in attitudes and behavior in accordance with the appropriateness of the prevailing norms; 4) Social development can be seen in the social attitudes of adolescents interacting with others. The achievement of applying the teaching steps of the lecturer with the mini research model has an average achievement of 85.6%. The achievement of student learning activities with the mini research model has an average of 81.4%.

Abstract

This study wants to look at the problem of Shifting Community Livelihoods in the Tank of Dahuyan Village, Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The aim is to find out the process of Shifting Community Livelihoods in the Tank of Dahuyan Village, Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The research method uses qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this study was the village head, the people of the Tank Village of Dahuyan such as rubber dabblers in terms of being asked as informants about shifting people's livelihoods. Data collection procedures use participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation while data analysis includes data reduction, data display, and data verification and checking the accuracy of the data through technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that there was a shift in livelihoods in the community of Dahuyan Tank Village, Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The process of shifting people's livelihoods is due to a weak economic factor, a decline in farmers' yields and a significant decline in rubber prices. There are several factors causing the shift in livelihoods in the Tank Dahuyan Village community, which are weak economic factors, low prior income and a sense of wanting to have a better income than before by becoming an employee in an oil palm company. By becoming an employee in an oil palm company the community income is more increased compared to the results of rubber tapping. The results felt in the community are felt positive because the results of the company that can be used for the cost of daily needs are sufficient and can pay for their children's education. Then people who shift jobs to oil palm companies get a social security in the form of Workers' Social Security and Health BPJS Penelitian ini ingin melihat permasalahan tentang Pergeseran Mata Pencaharian Masyarakat di Desa Tangki Dahuyan Kecamatan Manuhing Kabupaten Gunung Mas”. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui proses Pergeseran Mata Pencaharian Masyarakat di Desa Tangki Dahuyan Kecamatan Manuhing Kabupaten Gunung Mas. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskristif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala desa, masyarakat Desa Tangki Dahuyan seperti peyedap karet dalam hal yang ditanya sebagai informan tentang pergeseran mata pencaharian masyrakat. Prosedur pegumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif ,wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis data meliputi reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data dan pemeriksaan keabashan data melalui triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa telah terjadi pergeseran mata pencaharian pada masyarakat Desa Tangki Dahuyan Kecamatan Manuhing Kabupaten Gunung Mas. Proses terjadinya pergeseran mata pencaharian masyarakat dikarenakan adanya faktor ekonomi yang lemah, menurunnya hasil panen petani serta turunnya harga karet yang secara signifikan. Ada beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya pergeseran mata pencaharian pada masyarakat Desa Tangki Dahuyan yaitu faktor ekonomi yang lemah, pendapatan sebelumnya minim dan rasa ingin punya penghasilan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya dengan menjadi karyawan di perusahaan kelapa sawit.Dengan menjadi karyawan di perusahaan kelapa sawit pendapatan masyarakat lebih meningkat dibandingkan dengan hasil menyadap karet. Hasil yang dirasakan pada masyarakat dirasa positif karena hasil dari perusahaan yang di dapat digunakan untuk biaya kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari tercukupi serta dapat membiayai pendidikan anak-anaknya. Kemudian masyarakat yang bergeser pekerjaan ke perusahaan kelapa sawit mendapatkan suatu jaminan sosial yaitu berupa Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja dan BPJS Kesehatan

Abstract

Tahapan terpenting dalam proses pembelajaran salah satunya yakni mengkonstruksi materi yang mampu mengkondisikan mahasiswa memahami serta mengimplementasikan hasil belajar dalam tataran praksis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan materi berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata kuliah Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan dalam riset ini yakni jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan pasar, pengembangan, pengujian dan revisi produk. Bentuk pelaksanaan riset ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai yakni (1) Workshop Analisis Kurikulum Mata Kuliah Pancasila (CPMK, substansi materi, alat evalusi; (2) Workshop Pengembangan materi berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL); (3) FGD Validasi Pakar materi Pancasila berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL); (4) Uji coba materi Pancasila berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL); (5) Workshop Revisi materi berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pada Mata Kuliah Pancasila; dan (6) Penyusunan Laporan Akhir Penelitian.Berdasarkan hasil penilaian expert, produk yang dikembangkan mendapatkan skor 8.75 atau dalam kategori “Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil dari implementasi dan refleksi kepada mahasiswa diperoleh hasil, Pertama, siswa lebih senang ketika pembelajaran menggunakan audio visual. Kedua, materi yang dikemas dalam video pembelajaran membuat mereka lebih memahami dalam menganalisis fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat terkait dengan aktualisasi nilai-nilai Pancasil dan berpikir kritis.
