Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the description of the students’ research (Thesis) mapping of TeacherPhysical Education for Elementary School Study Program in 2013-2015. The meta analysis of the data was usedto analyse samples in the form of research (thesis) abstract of 400 students of Teacher Physical Education forElementary School Study Program in 2013-2015. The samples consisted of 130 abstracts in 2013, 232 abstracts in2014, and 38 abstracts in 2015. Incidental sampling was used as the sampling collecting technique. The researchersas human instrument employed documentation guideline to collect the data. The data collection technique was doneby documentation. The data were analyzed by quantitative data percentage. The results showed that: the surveymethod used in the thesis 84.50% research (thesis); students as the samples at 69.75% research; and tests wereused as data collection techniques at 48.75% research.Keywords: Research (Thesis), Mapping, Abstract.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran pemetaan penelitian (Skripsi) mahasiswa Prodi PGSD Penjas padatahun 2013-2015. Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran penjas di sekolah. Renang adalah salah satu sub pembelajaran penjas yang ada disekolah, dalam pemleajaran renang memerlukan sarana yaitu kolam yang digunakan dalam pelasaan pembelajaran. Kolam renang meru[akan salah satu sarana prasarana yang harus ada untuk menerapkan pembelajaran akuatik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap pemanfaatan kolam renang sebagai prasarana pembelajaran akuatik SD di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan metode survei. Angket digunakan sebagai intrumen pengambilan data. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan stratified proportional random sampling. Populasi SD yang berada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebanyak 1428 kolam. Setiap kota dan kabupaten diambil 5% sehingga didapat jumlah sampel 72 sekolah. Pemanfaatan kolam renang sebagai prasarana pembelajaran akuatik SD di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dengan pengelola kolam renang perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran akuatik. Abstract: Facilities and infrastructure are important factors in the success of physical education learning in schools. Swimming is one of the physical education sub-learning in schools, in swimming lessons, it requires facilities, namely the pool used in learning lessons. The swimming pool is one of the infrastructure facilities that must exist to implement aquatic learning. The purpose of this study was to use the swimming pool as an elementary aquatic learning infrastructure in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research is a case study research with a survey method. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. The research sampling technique was stratified proportional random sampling. The population of elementary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is 1428 ponds. 5% of each city and district was taken so that a sample of 72 schools was obtained. The use of swimming pools as an elementary aquatic learning infrastructure in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is included in the sufficient category. Collaboration between the school and the pool manager needs to be improved to support the implementation of aquatic learning

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe Physical Education teachers’ views on the application of theTeaching Games for Understanding Learning Model in Senior High Schools. This research was a case studyusing mixed methodology design proposed by John W. Creswell. The subjects of this research were 19 PhysicalEducation teachers in Senior High Schools who joined Socialization and Workshop of Teaching Games forUnderstanding. The researchers used all subjects to be respondents in collecting data using questionnaire.However, in collecting data by using interview, observation, and documentation, the researchers only used fivesubjects who were drawn by using purposive sampling technique. The researchers used triangulation of thedata collection technique so that the instruments used were questioners, interview guidelines, field notes, voicerecorder, and handy cam. Quantitative data were analyzed by scoring the result of the questionnaire. Meanwhilequalitative data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman model. The result of this research showed that 19respondents (100%) had a positive view on the application of Teaching Games for Understanding in Senior HighSchools. This quantitative data was supported by data collected from interview, observation, and documentation.The results showed that teachers were enthusiastic with the Teaching Games for Understanding concept. Theyconsidered that the Teaching Games for Understanding Model was effective and efficient to be used in thelearning process. They were also enthusiastic when they taught using Teaching Games for Understandingmodel. It showed that they supported the development of Teaching Games for Understanding in Senior HighSchools. However, they had less ability to explain the concept of Teaching Games to Understanding to the otherpeople. As a result, they were doubt to use this model in the Physical Education teaching-learning process.Keywords: Physical Education, Teaching Games for Understanding, Teacher.AbstractTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pandangan guru Pendidikan Jasmani dalam penerapanModel Teaching Games for Understanding pada Pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian inimerupakan studi kasus dengan menggunakan desain metodologi campuran yang diusulkan oleh John W.Creswell. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 19 guru Pendidikan Jasmani di Sekolah Menengah Atas yang bergabungdalam Sosialisasi dan Workshop Teaching Games for Understanding. Para peneliti menggunakan semuaguru penjas untuk menjadi responden dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Namun, dalammengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, peneliti hanyamenggunakan lima orang subjek yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Para penelitimenggunakan teknik triangulasi pengumpulan data sehingga instrumen yang digunakan adalah penanya,pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, perekam suara, dan kamera. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan darihasil kuesioner. Sementara data kualitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan Miles dan model Huberman. Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 19 responden (100%) memiliki pandangan positif pada penerapan PermainanPengajaran Pemahaman di SMA. Ini data kuantitatif didukung oleh data yang dikumpulkan dari wawancara,observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sangat antusias dengan PermainanPengajaran untuk Memahami konsep. Mereka menganggap bahwa model Teaching Games for Understandingefektif dan efisien untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Mereka juga antusias ketika mereka diajarkanmenggunakan Pengajaran Permainan untuk Memahami model. Ini menunjukkan bahwa mereka mendukung

Abstract

Pembelajaran renang merupakan salah satu materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan pada jenjang sekolah menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang alasan siswa kelas X bersikap pasif dalam pembelajaran renang di SMA N 1 Majenang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Penentuan subjek dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 20 siswa pasif kelas X, 6 siswa aktif kelas X, dan 1 Guru PJOK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang mempengaruhi siswa kelas X bersikap pasif dalam pembelajaran renang, yaitu: kemampuan gerak renang kurang baik; Pengalaman buruk; motivasi rendah; kesehatan kurang baik. Berdasarkan faktor internal, terdapat 3 tipe siswa pasif, yaitu: pasif yang sopan; pasif terselubung; pasif disengaja. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi siswa kelas X bersikap pasif dalam pembelajaran renang, yaitu:komunikasi kurang baik; pengaruh teman dan orang tua; tugas lebih dipilih; fasilitas kolam renang kurang mendukung; kurang penggunaan alat bantu. Berdasarkan faktor eksternal, terdapat 1 tipe siswa pasif yaitu pasif yang disengaja. The phenomenon of passive class X students in learning swimming at public SMA 1 Majenang, Central Java AbstractSwimming learning is one of the physical education learning materials for sports and health at the high school level. This study aims to find out the background of the reasons for Grade X students choosing to be passive in swimming learning at SMAN 1 Majenang. This was a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological design. The research subjects were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were 20 passive class X students, 6 active class X students, and 1 PJOK teacher. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data used source triangulation technique. The results showed that the internal factors that influenced class X students to be passive in learning swimming, namely: poor swimming ability; Bad experience; low motivation; ill health. Based on internal factors, there are 3 types of passive students, namely: polite passive; veiled passive; deliberate passivity. External factors that influence class X students to be passive in learning swimming, namely: poor communication; influence of friends and parents; preferred task; swimming pool facilities are less supportive; less use of tools. Based on external factors, there is 1 type of passive student, namely deliberate passive.

Abstract

The objective of this phenomenological research is to describe the substance of aquatic activities learning based on the experience of elementary school physical education teachers in Yogyakarta City in carrying out aquatic activities learning. Ten elementary school physical education teachers in Yogyakarta City agreed to participate in this study. The research subjects were selected with the snowball sampling technique. A qualitative approach was used in data collection and data analysis. Open interviews were conducted based on the interview guide instrument. Data analysis techniques based on the Miles and Huberman model include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data obtained are the experience of physical education teachers in carrying out aquatic activities learning and the substance of aquatic activities learning for physical education teachers. Every word during the interview was recorded and rewritten for further analysis. The grouping process used Atlas.ti 22 software. The themes that emerge from the analysis consist of: (1) the learning process of aquatic activities; (2) parental support; (3) obstacles to learning aquatic activities; and (4) the substance of aquatic activities learning. The researchers see this phenomenon based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. The teachers’ decision to conduct aquatic activities learning does not depend on its substantiality only. However, aquatic activities learning needs the support of parents and schools.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pengenalan air melalui aktivi-tas bermain bagi siswa TK (Taman Kanak-kanak) kelompok B. Model pengenalan air mengembang-kan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan karakteristik siswa TK kelompok B. Model pengenalan air diharapkan digunakan guru dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian dan pengembangan melalui 9 tahapan yang mengadaptasi model Dick Carey. Hasil penelitian berupa model pengenalan air bagi siswa TK yang terdiri dari 6 permainan, yaitu: (1) bola warna, (2) air tumpah, (3) harta karun, (4) mandi pagi, (5) hewan laut, dan (6) balap donat dan kacang. Model disusun dalam buku pedoman berjudul ”Jelajah Air”. Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli materi dan guru dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pengenalan air bagi siswa TK sesuai dengan kurikulum dan karakteristik siswa TK kelompok B. Selain itu, model pengenalan air dapat mengembangkan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran TK kelompok B. Kata kunci: model, pengenalan, air, TK

Abstract

The competencies possessed by teachers have not been as expected, as evidenced by the average value of pedagogic competencies, which are still low compared to the results of professional competence scores on the Teacher Competency Test. This study aimed to develop a model for improving the pedagogic competence of Physical Education teachers which was arranged into a module that contains how to develop a learning implementation plan, how to create and use the learning media, how to create and use the teaching materials, and how to prepare and implement the learning assessments. The development tests that were carried out were: 1) alpha test, 2) beta test, and 3) final product validation. The alpha test is a product validation test by three experts, while the beta test is a load and product suitability test involving 27 teachers and 3 supervisors, followed by a final product validation stage involving 84 teachers who are divided into two groups, namely experimental and control. The research instruments used were a questionnaire and a competency improvement scale. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive data analysis, gain score data analysis, and t-test. Based on the results of the assessment at the alpha test, beta test, and program validation stages, the resulting product was declared suitable for use as a teaching material set. Furthermore, through the process of testing the effectiveness of the product, the model of increasing pedagogic competence based on teaching materials is proven to be effective and can significantly improve the pedagogic competence of Physical Education teachers.
