Abstract

During the pandemic, the government regulates restrictions on activities in public places or facilities. Including buying daily necessities. As a result of this restriction, people make purchases online to buy all household needs as an anticipation and inventory measure. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and brand awareness on purchasing decisions on consumers who shop online using the Lazada marketplace. The method of collecting data through a google form questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents to consumers who shop at Lazada. This study found that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Brand awareness has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Brand image and brand awareness have a simultaneous and positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The pandemic that has occurred for almost two years has also changed the direction of tourism policy in Indonesia, the government is focusing on the tourism sector through the application of health protocols in a disciplined manner which is intensively carried out through various forms of socialization to the implementation of certification in various tourism business fields. Likewise Labuan Bajo, continues to strive to increase the confidence of tourists to come back by paying attention to health protocols in a disciplined manner. Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf took the initiative to develop CHSE-based health protocol guidelines in each tourism sector, including the accommodation sector. This is done considering that the CHSE-based health protocol has an important role to revive the tourism sector, especially in the accommodation sector. In this study, the researchers focused on the implications of implementing CHSE on phinisi tourist ships in Labuan Bajo. The results of the analysis of the application of CHSE are the success of the three ships in implementing the CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability) concept even though they have not been certified CHSE by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. However, in the implementation of CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability) all points in this application have health protocols that have met the criteria so that tourists can visit Labuan Bajo comfortably and safely by phinisi boat as the right choice of accommodation. Abstract

Banjar/Dusun Kiadan saja sedangkan potensi wisata di delapan banjar lainnya belum dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan daya tarik wisata di Desa Pelaga berdasarkan analisis Tourist Area Life Cycle. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah pihak/pakar yang terlibat dalam pengeloaan daya tarik wisata di Desa Pelaga termasuk masyarakat sekitar yang mempunyai peran pada suatu kawasan wisata. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa daya tarik wisata di Desa Pelaga berdasarkan teori Tourist Area Life Cycle, terdapat beberapa daya tarik wisata yang ada di Desa Pelaga, diantaranya adalah Jembatan Tukad Bangkung, Air Terjun Nungnung, Jalur Trekking Perkebunan, Gunung Pucak Mangu, dan Air Terjun Tukad Bangkung. Daya tarik wisata tersebut berada pada posisi tahapan involvement (pelibatan) dan development (pengembangan).

Abstract

From the analysis, it is found that there were still many challenges experienced by local communities in exploiting job opportunities, such as the incompatibility between labor qualifications required by the tourism industry and the capacity of local communities. The lack of capacity of human resources resulted from the low quality of education, the lack of knowledge and skills in the tourism industry, especially the hospitality, and the attitude and behavior or work ethic of the local community itself. The success or failure of cooperative relationship between the company and its human resources is inseparable from the role of desa adat. The role of desa adat here is to provide job-related information required by the company to assist the prospective workforce to obtain a job. The tourism sector is expected to build motivation and increase work productivity for the community in order to encourage the growth of the economic sector.

Abstract

The present study discussed the representation and identity of three selected women figures who contributed to the development of tourism in Bali and worked as a team leader, an entrepreneur, and an influencer, respectively. This study has two objectives: 1. to find out how women represent themselves and 2) to find out how women build their identity in the tourism context using narration. The authors used narrative inquiry to collect valuable stories from the informants. Using narrative inquiry, the stories produced by the informants were unique and meaningful. The study’s results revealed that women represented themselves as figures responsible for fulfilling domestic, i.e. family, and non-domestic roles, i.e. careers. The study also revealed that they still embraced traditional and domestic roles as their identity while simultaneously managing to actualise themselves in their careers. Abstract

Bali has natural beauty from beaches to mountains, which attract tourists to visit, especially the millennial generation. Millennials are said to have a fairly high mobility. The level of their desire to travel is also not small. Therefore this generation is generally known as adventurers. Especially in terms of traveling or taking advantage of free time, this generation has started traveling to new places that are not widely known, and are considered interesting. The rapid development of tourism is currently creating various trends, one of which is nomadic tourism. The term nomadic tourism is still very common among the people. The purpose of this study is to focus on alternative tourism that can be carried out by nomadic tourism for millennials by using a campervan as a tourist attraction for traveling in Bali. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The informant gathering technique used was snowball sampling, in this case the interviewees ranged from tourists using campervans to entrepreneurs providing campervan services. The results of this study are to find out one of the facilities that support nomadic tourism, namely campervans which nomadic travelers have begun to glance at to support their traveling activities around exploring one destination to another. Abstract

Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) has a significant impact on the accommodation industry. In today's digital age and increasing reliance on the Internet, reviews and recommendations shared through online platforms play an important role in traveler perception and accommodation choice. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth on tourists' decision to stay at Richland Glamping Bali. The data source for this research is primary data that comes from the sample, namely tourists who stay at Richland Glamping Bali. Data using a saturated sample by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The method used is simple linear regression analysis. The results show that electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on the decision of guests to stay at Rich Land Glamping Bali with a contribution of 31.6%. The conclusion of this study is that the electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on the guest's decision to stay. Suggestions from researchers for management so that electronic word of mouth owned by Richland Glamping Bali can be used as a strategy to influence tourists' decisions to stay so that room occupancy rates can increase.

Abstract

Peran fotografi semakin berkembang dan semakin banyak orang dapat melakukannya. Fotografi dapat dilakukan dengan kamera profesional maupun kamera smartphone. Banyak wisatawan yang tertarik mengunjungi suatu tempat melalui hasil foto yang dilakukan di spot yang dilihat menarik, namun keadaan sebenarnya disekitar tempat foto tidak sesuai ekspetasi. Foto yang diciptakan diunggah ke media sosial Instagram dan semakin banyak orang dapat melihatnya. Media sosial Instagram adalah salah satu sarana promosi yang paling banyak digunakan dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat, kini juga digunakan sebagai ajang mempromosikan pariwisata. Khususnya kepada daya tarik wisata yang sangat berperan dalam menjalankan hal tersebut, dapat dilihat seperti akun yang dikelola @tanahlotid yang sudah mengaplikasikan agar wisatawan berminat berkunjung di daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot. Dalam penelitian berjudul “Peran Fotografi & Promosi Melalui Media Sosial Instagram @tanahlotid Terhadap Minat Kunjungan Wisatawan ke Kawasan Daya Tarik Wisata Tanah Lot”. Tujuan penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh peran fotografi dan promosi melalui media sosial Instagram terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan di daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot. siMetode pengumpulan data dengan kuantitatif dan metode analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner tertutup sejumlah 100 responden. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan peran fotografi tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat kunjungan wisatawan, sedangkan promosi melalui media sosial Instagram @tanahlotid berpengaruh terhadap minat kunjungan wisatawan ke daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot. Saran untuk daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot untuk melakukan kegiatan event fotografi agar mendapat sudut pandang foto terbaik dan berkolaborasi dengan influencer dalam meningkatkan ajang promosi. As more individuals learn how to do it, photography’s importance is expanding. Both professional cameras and smartphone cameras can be used for photography. Many tourists are interested in visiting a place through photos taken in spots that are seen as interesting, but the reality around the photo location often falls short of expectations. The produced images are posted on Instagram, a social networking site where an increasing number of people can view them. Instagram is a social media platform that is used by the community and is one of the most popular promotional tools. Today, it serves as a location for tourism promotion. Especially tourist attractions that play a very important role in carrying out this, it can be seen such as the account managed by @tanahlotid which has applied so that tourists are interested in visiting the Tanah Lot tourist attraction. This study entitled “The Role of Photography and Promotion through Social Media Instagram @tanahlotid Toward Tourist Visits Interest in Tanah Lot Tourist Attraction”. The objective of this study was to determine how the influence of the role of photography and promotion through social media Instagram on the interest of visiting tourists at Tanah Lot tourist attraction. The quantitative data collection methods and analytical methods carried out in this study used quantitative descriptive methods by distributing closed questionnaires of 100 respondents. The findings in this study indicate that the role of photography does not affect the interest of tourist visits, while promotion through Instagram @tanahlotid social media affects the interest of tourists visiting the Tanah Lot tourist attraction. Suggestions for Tanah Lot tourist attractions to carry out photography events to get the best photo angles and collaborate with influencers to expand promotional activities.

Abstract

Analysis of the potential of Pererenan Beach to become a tourist attraction in Pererenan Village is the subject of discussion in this study. The purpose of this study (1) to find out the tourism potential of Pererenan Beach so that it can be developed as a tourist attraction. (2) to find out the opportunities and challenges faced by the management regarding the potential development of Pererenan beach as a tourist attraction. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews, literature and documentation. This study uses concepts based on 5A, namely attractions, accessibility, amenities, activities, and comfort. On the opportunities and challenges faced by the management of Pererenan Beach it was found that the management parties were the Village Government, Village Communities and Traders. The results of this study found that apart from having beautiful natural potential and being used as a place to see the sunset, Pererenan Beach has cultural potential in the form of traditional kite competitions which are held every year as well as the potential to develop surfing sports. There are several things in the management of the Pererenan Beach tourist destination that need to be optimized, namely the lack of management of tourist attractions, especially shelter facilities, parking lots, public toilets and waste management, lack of tourist facilities and infrastructure, incompetent human resources, and undeveloped products. maximum for tourists. The results of this study can be used as a reference for improving the development of Pererenan Beach Tourism Attraction in the future.
