Nutritional status, growth, dietary intake in asthmatic children: a study to Junior High Schools in Yogyakarta municipality. Elisa Elisa

Abstract

Objective: To know the relationship between asthma and nutritional status, growth, and dietary intake. Design: Prospective cohort study of children aged 12-18 years.Setting: Twenty eight Junior High Schools in Yogyakarta municipality.Subjects: There were 802 children who ever had symptoms of asthma and children who never had asthma as control. Questionnaire was used to establish the diagnosis of asthma. Subjects were grouped as: 1) ever had symptom of asthma but not in the last 6 months; 2) ever had 1 symptom of asthma in the last 6 months; 3) ever had 2 symptoms of asthma in the last 6 months; 4) ever had 3 symptoms of asthma in the last 6 months; and 5) never had asthma.Main outcome measures: Z-score for weight for age and height for age, body mass index (BMI), and dietary intake.Results: This study revealed there was no statistical difference between asthmatic group and control group in nutritional status based on weight for age in the first measurement (p=0.292), the second (p=0.258), and the third (p=0.122); based on height for age, in the first measurement (p=0.356), the second (p=0.541), the third (p=0.384). Likewise, based on body mass index, in the first measurement (p=0.335), the second (p=0.305), the third (p=0.166). Concerning growth there was no statistical difference between asthmatic group and control group based on weight for age from the first to the second measurement (p=0.215), second to third Ip=0.866), first to third (p =0.188); based on height for age from the first to the second measurement Ip=0.774), second to third (3=0.627), first to third (p=0.738. Likewise, based on body mass index from the first to the second measurement (p=0.556), second to third (p=0.913), first to third (p=0.784). Daily intake of nutrition revealed there was no statistical difference between asthmatic group and control group concerning calorie (p=0.075), protein (p=0.345), fat (p=0.989), carbohydrate (p=0.731), calsium (p=0.936), iron (p=0.566), vitamin A (p=0.457), vitamin B (p=0.932, and vitamin C (p=0.837).Conclusion: Asthma did not affect nutritional status, growth, and dietary intake. There was no significant difference on growth among study groups.Key words: asthma - nutritional status - growth - dietary intake

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of Jantho City 1 Senior High School students towards the use of the youtube channel as a medium for learning physics. This type of research is descriptive research. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, where the sample in this study were all 24 students of senior high school 1 Kota Jantho High School students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires or questionnaires to obtain data on the perceptions of Jantho City 1 Senior High School students on the use of the youtube channel in physics learning. Processing data using the percentage formula (%). The results of the overall student show that 54% of students perceive strongly agree, 46% of students perceive agree, 0% of students have moderate perceptions, 0% of students perceive disagree, and 0% of students at SMA 1 Kota Jantho perceive strongly disagree with the use of media channels youtube in physics learning. Where the average student has a very good perception of learning physics using the youtube channel

Abstract

This study aims to produce products namely guided inquiry-based LKPD on straight-motion material, knowing that LKPD is feasible to be used as a tool to help students learn, and knowing teacher and student responses to guided inquiry-based LKPD. This research uses the Research and Development (R D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 2 expert lecturers to validate guided inquiry-based LKPD, 17 SMP Negeri 3 Lhoknga students, and 2 Physics teachers. Data collection techniques were obtained from teacher interviews, LKP validation sheets, through student questionnaires, and teacher questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis showed that guided inquiry-based LKPD validation on straight-motion material "was feasible" in the systematic preparation. LKPD can be used by students as student learning aids. Student responses to guided inquiry-based LKPD obtained a percentage of 85% of students giving agreed responses to LKPD. And the teacher's response to this LKPD was 88%. Based on the results of the research conducted, guided inquiry-based LKPD can already be used in the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Health profile of Semarang in 2018, the exclusive feeding of the exclusive breast milk in the age of 0-6 months of 65.57%. It’s still far from Central Java target of 80%. This problem of breastfeeding influenced by reduced stimulation of oxytocin hormones, while physical and psychological changes can affect the lactation process. One of the efforts to increase the breast milk production with SPEOS (Suggestive Endorphin Oxytocin Massage Stimulation). The SPEOS method can help nifas mother to facilitate the expenditure of breast milk. To know the effect of the SPEOS method (Suggestive Endorfin Oxytocin Massage Stimulation) on Breast Milk Production in Nifas Mothers. The research design used quasy experiment with one group pre-post test. Sample in this study was nifas mother with spontaneous childbirth amounted to 27 people. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Breastfeeding production before mothers performed SPEOS method on average was 3.70 ml with standard deviation of 5,113. Breast milk production after mother performed SPEOS method on average was 129,63 ml with standard deviation 11,001. Abstract

Prediksi kebangkrutan sebagai early warning terhadap kondisi perusahaan, sangat membantu perusahaan yang mengalami kondisi financial distress agar bisa memperbaiki kinerjanya sebelum kebangkrutan terjadi.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memprediksi kebangkrutan PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk., dengan menggunakan metode Altman Z-Score. Data penelitian berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam bentuk laporan keuangan PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk., tahun 2010 sampai 2019. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kondisi keuangan perusahaan termasuk ke dalam kategori bangkrut karena nilai kriteria perhitungan dari tahun 2010 sampai 2019 berada pada nilai Z < 1,81. Meskipun diprediksi dalam bangkrut, perusahaan tetap beroperasi karena mendapatkan pinjaman dari induk usaha Pinnacel Company Limited sebesar 90,45% atas saham INRU.

Abstract

This research develops a comic-based student worksheet to learn about feasibility, learning outcomes, and motivation of the student worksheet. The research was carried out using research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE development model. The implementation of this comic-based Student Worksheet uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were students of class VIII at MTsN 3 Banda Aceh. The samples in this study were 57 students in the class of Abu Bakar Ash Siddiq and Zaid bin Thabit who were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection using validation tests, written tests, and questionnaires. The results of the feasibility test showed that the Developed Student Worksheet was included in the feasible category with an average score of assessments by experts and natural science teachers of 91.25% and 99.03%. Analysis of learning outcomes data using the t-test, obtained tcount>ttable (4.42> 2.01) shows that there are differences in the value of student learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes where the value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Results of analysis Motivation of students tcount>ttable (15,53> 2,01) also shows the use of comic-based worksheets can increase students' learning motivation so that it can be concluded that the use of comic-based worksheets is feasible, it can improve student learning outcomes and motivation

Abstract

Abstract. Suffering can make people begin to doubt and question the existence of God. Why did suffering occur in the world He created himself? These questions need to be answered through reasoning, although it is recognized that human reason is limited in finding the overall truth. The method used in this research was literature study. Through this study it was found that faith cannot be separated from ratio. Irrational faith will cause humans to fall into a fatalistic attitude when experiencing suffering.Abstrak. Penderitaan dapat membuat manusia mulai ragu-ragu dan mempertanyakan keberadaan Tuhan. Mengapa penderitaan terjadi di dunia yang Ia ciptakan sendiri? Pertanyaan tersebut perlu dijawab melalui penalaran, meskipun diakui bahwa akal manusia terbatas untuk menemukan kebenaran yang menyeluruh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka. Melalui kajian ini ditemukan bahwa iman tidak dapat dilepaskan dari rasio. Iman yang tidak rasional akan mengakibatkan manusia jatuh pada sikap fatalistik ketika mengalami penderitaan.

Abstract

Fungi endofit adalah salah satu sumber senyawa bioaktif yang dapat menghasilkan senyawa-senyawa bioaktif yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat berbagai macam jenis fungi endofit secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis dari tumbuhan Brotowali (Tinospora crispa) yang dapat menjadi kandidat dari fungi endofit yang dapat memproduksi senyawa bioaktif. Isolasi endofit dari batang Brotowali dilakukan pada medium PDA dan diperoleh 5 isolat fungi endofit.

Abstract

Curriculum is something that is planned as a guide to achieve the goal of education. What is usually planned is an idea, an aspiration of human beings or citizens that will be formed. What can be realized is called real curriculum,meanwhile, which can not be realized,in fact,is still an idea.The 2013 curriculum is simplified and thematic-integrative curriculum, whichits school hours are added.It is intended to encourage learners or studentstohave better ability to make observations, to ask questions, to do reasoning, and to communicate (to present) what theyget or know after learning lesson materials, and to make our students to have attitude competencies, skills, and much better knowledge. They will be more creative, innovative, and more productive, so that they can be successful in dealing with various problems and challenges in his day later, and have a better future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang interaksi antara aspek-aspek kehidupan sehingga tergambar kondisi ketahanan Nasional di Kabupaten Karo.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan keluaran, yaitu dengan menganalisa unsure keuletan dan ketangguhan aspek-aspek kehidupan yang meliputi aspek moral Pancasila, Sosial Politik, Sosial Ekonomi, social budaya dan pertahanan keamanan, dimana keuletan dan ketangguhan digambarkan sebagai suatu matriks dan vektor.Dari hasil analisa data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa secara keseluruhan kondisi ketahanan Nasional di Daerah Tingkat II Karo dalam aspek moral Pancasila, Sosial Politik, Sosial Ekonomi, Sosial Budaya dan Pertahanan Keamanan masuk dalam kategori baik.
