Abstract

Surabraja food trading company produces chili sauce and soy sauce. In July 2019, this company suffered a loss due to the number of broken bottles in the bottle washing process amounting to IDR 29,597,400. This study will identify the causes of defects using the six sigma method. Based on the define, measure, and analyze stages, it was found that the main causes of broken bottle defects were the temperature setting that was too hot and the engine speed that was not optimal. The repair process uses the taguchi experiment by determining the temperature and speed settings. The results of the Taguchi experiment showed that the best selected setting dosage formulations and their levels were A1 and AB2 where A1 (temperature 140°C), and AB2 (speed 10,000 bph). Based on a confirmation experiment with a temperature setting of 140°C, and a speed setting of 10,000 bpd, it was carried out using 48,000 bottles with 5 experiments, and a defect of 505 bottles was obtained. The results of the study concluded that the best results, namely at a temperature of 140°C and a speed of 10,000 bpd, can reduce the defect rate from 780 bottles to 505 bottles per day, and the value of the company's losses from IDR 466,429, - to IDR 301,900, -.

Abstract

This study aims to design a priority marketing strategy using a marketing mix model by measuring consumer perceptions to increase sales volume.. From the Factor Analysis processing, there are 12 latent variables that have eigenvalues 1, namely product, service, public facilities, access, branding promotion, strategic, unique serving consumers, advertising media, lighting, entertainment, and quality. After that, it is processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the result is that there are 3 priority factors, namely the quality factor (31.66%), product (13.10%), and advertising media (11.93%). The quality factor strategy includes making SOPs, attending seminars / training, making P-IRT certifications, and making business licenses. Product factor strategy includes adding variant origin, redesigning the packaging. Marketing strategy through advertising media with Facebook and Instragram, becoming a merchant at Go-Food and Grab-Food, and partnerships with online payment application providers.

Abstract

This community service distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) is carried out to ease the burden on doctors and health workers in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The success of this service is measured by the distribution of personal protective equipment for doctors and health workers. A total of 499 personal protective equipment was distributed to Dustira Cimahi Hospital, Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung, Muhammadiyah Hospital Bandung, Pindad Hospital Bandung, Kiara Condong Health Center Bandung and Sukapura Health Center Bandung. The evaluation of this activity is that it is necessary to carry out a similar service program to help communities affected by the pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: Study on Dominant Factors in the Selection of Private UniversitiesThis research began with the phenomenon of the closure of universities by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in 2019, the cause of which was the lack of students. This is in contrast to the abundance and surplus of high school and vocational high school graduates. Based on research in several countries regarding the dominant factors that cause prospective students to choose certain private universities, this study also does the same thing in Indonesia, namely regarding the important factors that are the reasons students choose a college. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire derived from the marketing mix model. Respondents are active students in several universities in Greater Bandung. Data processing with factor analysis using SPSS 22 Software. The results of this study concluded that the dominant factors that are considered by prospective students to choose private universities, they are: (1) Marketing factors; (2) Learning place factors (classrooms, etc.); (3) Study program factors attractive and graduated on time; (4) Campus location factors; (5) Tuition fee factors; and (6) Lecturer ability factor. The results of this study can be used as a reference by prospective students in choosing a private university and for private universities it can be used as a reference in order to recruit new students. Abstrak: Studi tentang Faktor Dominan dalam Pemilihan Perguruan Tinggi SwastaPenelitian ini berawal dari fenomena penutupan perguruan tinggi oleh Kemenristekdikti pada 2019 yang penyebabnya adalah kurangnya jumlah mahasiswa. Hal tersebut bertolak belakang dengan jumlah lulusan SMA dan SMK yang sangat berlimpah dan surplus. Berdasarkan penelitian di beberapa negara mengenai faktor dominan yang menjadi alasan calon mahasiswa memilih perguruan tinggi swasta tertentu, maka penelitian ini juga melakukan hal serupa di Indonesia yaitu penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor penting yang menjadi alasan siswa memilih suatu perguruan tinggi. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diturunkan dari model bauran pemasaran. Responden adalah mahasiswa aktif di beberapa perguruan tinggi di Bandung Raya. Pengolahan data dengan analisis faktor menggunakan software SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa faktor dominan yang menjadi pertimbangan calon mahasiswa memilih perguruan tinggi swasta, yaitu: (1) Faktor pemasaran; (2) Faktor tempat belajar (ruang kelas dll); (3) Faktor prodi yang menarik dan lulus tepat waktu; (4) Faktor lokasi kampus, (5) Faktor biaya kuliah, dan (6) Faktor kemampuan dosen. Hasil penelitian ini bisa dijadikan referensi oleh calon mahasiswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi swasta, dan bagi perguruan tinggi swasta bisa dijadikan acuan dalam rangka menjaring mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang perbaikan komponen turbin gas pembangkit listrik. Tujuan penelitian untuk merancang tata letak gudang penyimpanan box komponen menggunakan metode dedicated storage, untuk mengurangi waktu pencarian. Dedicated storage adalah cara mengatur tata letak Gudang untuk produk berdasarkan jumlah aktivitas keluar masuk di gudang dengan jarak tempuh terpendek terhadap I/O point (throughput). Rancangan tata letak gudang berguna untuk memudahkan operator dalam menyimpan dan mengambil produk sehingga aliran produk menjadi lancar. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data perbaikan layout, diperoleh waktu pencarian rata-rata 2,12 menit per box komponen. Waktu ini lebih cepat dari waktu pencarian sebelum dilakukan perbaikan layout yaitu rata-rata selama 12,12 menit per box komponen. Hasil simulasi menggunakan promodel diperoleh total exit (barang yang keluar) dengan 251 box komponen. Rata-rata waktu yang didapatkan dalam pencarian box komponen yaitu 1,62 jam, lebih cepat 7,27 jam dibandingkan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pencarian box sebelum dilakukan perbaikan layout yaitu 8,89 jam. Total jarak material handling mengalami penurunan sebesar 15,47% dari total jarak material handling sebelum dilakukan perbaikan layout adalah 14.345 m, dengan total jarak material handling setelah dilakukan perbaikan layout adalah 12.126 m.

Abstract

This study will measure the level of student satisfaction at a university in Bandung using a service quality model and student satisfactory inventory model. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents. Testing of measuring instruments by comparing the calculated r value (corrected item total correlation) with the r table. Reliability testing uses alpha values with table alpha values. Measuring the level of satisfaction using the customer satisfaction index (CSI). The results showed a CSI score of 94.04, which means that student satisfaction with campus services is very satisfied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermula dari fenomena pada tahun 2020 terjadi ketimpangan antara jumlah lulusan Sekolah Menengan Atas dan Kejuruan di Indonesia dengan yang diterima perguruan tinggi negeri dengan sebanyak 2.403.489 siswa yang menjadi pasar potensial bagi perguruan tinggi swasta. Hal tersebut menjadi peluang besar untuk diperebutkan menjadi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta. Maka tujuan penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi hal-hal penting yang mendasari pemilihan perguruan tinggi swasta di Bandung Raya. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Bandung Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pemasaran marketing mix product, place, price, promotion, people, process, dan physical evidence. Hasil pengolahan data menyimpulkan bahwa variabel product, place, price, promotion, people, process, dan physical evidence secara bersama-sama maupun parsial berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan perguruan tinggi swasta. Hasil penelitian bermanfaat bagi perguruan tinggi swasta dalam menghadapi persaingan.

Abstract

Investing is not something foreign to the people of Indonesia. In general, people choose traditional investments that have low risk, such as deposits in banks, buying land, gardens, buildings, and precious metals. People feel safer by investing like that because the price of these goods will increase even though the return (investment return) is small. This changed after the 2000s, various groups have started to look at investments that can generate large returns. One form of investment that generates high returns is investment in the capital market. There is a decrease in the number of securities companies from year to year which was inversely proportional to the increase in individual investor type SID shares. The decline in the number of securities companies was caused by several companies being unable to compete due to the small number of customers. One of the factors causing the decline in the number of securities companies is the ability of marketing strategies. This research will measure the factors that become the preferences of prospective customers of securities companies in the decision to become their customers. The model used as a reference is the marketing mix. Data processing uses factor analysis which results in the formation of 5 factors which contain marketing mix derivatives.
