A protest is something that really needs to be careful in its delivery. This study examines the strategy of buyers in protesting at a Japanese restaurant. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the data collection method of the literature method. The technique used is documentation techniques, namely data collection techniques through reading text or text reading, assessment, and recording all literature related to this research. The results achieved in this study will be presented in the form of a description. The results of this study indicate that the dominant strategy used by buyers to cast protests is to adopt a bald on record strategy. This strategy was chosen because protest is a form of dissatisfaction made because buyers feel they do not receive Omotenashi from the restaurant. In order to express dissatisfaction, the buyer is forced to threaten the shop assistant's face as an interlocutor. However, it should be noted that in certain contexts, Enryo is still a consideration for buyers in protesting, even though the potential is very small or not dominant.

The Heisei era had changed to the Reiwa era in 2019. All the Japanese people entered a new phase of the Japanese imperial era. Emperor Akihito wanted to abdicate for health reasons, so the throne was replaced by emperor Naruhito. This study aims to look back at any significant events that occurred in the Heisei era. The method used is this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collected by the literature method through several articles about the Heisi era. The results of this study indicates that overall it can be said that peace has been achieved in Japan. The Heisei Era is an era filled with economic turmoil and disasters in Japan. In addition, the Heisei era also still leaves a heavy task for the Reiwa era, that is economic improvement after the economic bubble to revive the Japanese economy as before. Heisei era is indeed full of challenges for Japan, but international confidence in Japan is very high. By advancing its technological progress, Japan managed to become the organizer of the winter olympics in 1998 and the world cup in 2002.

Self-learning atau pembelajaran mandiri merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang menjawab tantangan pembelajaran pada era pembelajaran jarak jauh yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah karena pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan efektifitas penggunaan Minato sebagai media self-learning pada pembelajar pemula bahasa Jepang di Sekolah Vokasi, Universitas Diponegoro, Sebagai media pembelajaran, Minato memiliki beberapa kelas yang dapat diambil untuk pembelajaran bahasa Jepang dasar secara mandiri, diantaranya adalah pembelajaran mandiri hiragana dan katakana, dialek, dan kanji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei yang digunakan sebagai media untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan Minato. Sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran self-learning, mahasiswa diminta untuk mengisi survei dan pretest. Setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan Minato, pembelajar kembali mengisi survei dan posttest. Hasil survei dan tes akan digunakan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan Minato. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Minato sangat efektif untuk pembelajaran mandiri. Hal tersebut disimpulkan berdasarkan angket yang disebar kepada mahasiswa, sertifikat elektronik mahasiswa, serta pendapat pengajar.

One of the Japanese work culture that is widely applied in many countries is 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Siso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke ). 5S not only practice in company activity but also in life activity. In company especially at manufacturing industry, 5S practice will produce qualified product. Although 5S culture easy to understand and simple, but it is need a consistency and very difficult to be applied. Therefore, practice of 5S especially 5S habituations not only practice in company but also in many educational institution for example school, university and orphanage.

ABSTRAKPembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustaniable Development) telah menjadi agenda global dalam setiap proses pembangunan. Penerapan konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan di sektor pariwisata dikenal dengan konsep pembangunan pariwisata yang tanggap terhadap minat wisatawan dan keterlibatan langsung dari masyarakat setempat dengan tetap menekankan upaya perlindungan dan pengelolaannya yang berorientasi jangka panjang. Konsep pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan tersebut pada intinya menekankan empat prinsip, sebagai berikut: layak secara Ekonomi (Economically Feasible), berwawasan lingkungan (Environmentally Feasible), dapat diterima secara sosial (Socially Accepable), dapat diterapkan secara teknologi (Technologically Appropriate). Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Jepang bagi para pramuwisata desa wisata Kandri. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah berupa pengayaan pengetahuan bahasa yang didapat para pramuwisata.Kata Kunci: desa wisata; penerjemahan; pramuwisata; profil; wisataABSTRACTSustainable development has become a global agenda in every development process. This activity aims to provide English and Japanese language training for Kandri tourist village tour guides. ABSTRAK Desa Kandri dinobatkan sebagai desa wisata karena masih menjaga kelestarian keindahan alamnya dan keaslian budayanya. Sebagai tindak lanjut pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan sebelumnya, maka tim pengabdian bermaksud melaksanakan kegiatan pengembangan pariwisata di desa Kandri. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk menerjemahkan buku profil desa wisata Kandri ke dalam bahasa Inggris dan ke dalam bahasa Jepang. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi guna memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat secara umum, serta pemandu wisata desa wisata Kandri secara khusus. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah penerjemahan buku profil desa wisata Kandri telah diterima dengan baik dan mendapat sambutan yang baik oleh mitra. Serta, mitra pengabdian merasa kegiatan pengabdian ini merasa sangat puas terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan dan sangat berharap bahwa akan ada tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini. Setelah melaksanakan pengabdian ini maka tim menyarankan bahwa kegiatan ini perlu dilaksanakan tindak lanjut guna mengembangkan pariwisata di desa Kandri. Kata Kunci: desa wisata; penerjemahan; pramuwisata; profil; wisata ABSTRACT Kandri Village has been named a tourist village because it still preserves its natural beauty and cultural authenticity. As a follow-up to the community service that has been carried out previously, the service team intends to carry out tourism development activities in Kandri village. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to translate the Kandri tourist village profile book into English and Japanese. This service uses the socialization method to provide education to the general public and a tour guide for the Kandri tourist village in particular. The result of this service is that the translation of the Kandri tourism village profile book has been well received and received a good reception by partners. Also, the community service partner feels that this service activity is very satisfied with the implementation of the activity and hopes that there will be a follow-up to this activity. The other contributions are improving children’s creativity, improving soft skill, and also improving children meticulous, etc. The output of this event is bentou as a product.

This contribution to society activity’s (KKN) is about Japanese quick count style in Mathematics. The object of this activity is students of Elementary School in Karanggondang village, Mlonggo District, Jepara Regency. This activity is supported by LPPM, lecturer of KKN, and students of KKN. To run this programme, the KKN team is partnered with Karanggondang Elementary school. As a preparation for national exam, this programme is aimed at the students of 5th grade. The output of this activity are video and module.

(Title: Early Brainstorming With Origami For Children) The purpose of this paper is to uncover the usefulness of origami as an effective way of early brainstorming for children. The method used is to involve the children in the origami training activities as a form of community service. Training is not done in the usual way, but done principally on the four basic brainstorming guidelines so that the nature of the training is not up-bottom but bottom-up. This principle is not done strictly considering the participants are children. This means that mentor involvement is still needed to encourage participants to come up with ideas on how to fold the paper and shape it into the intended shape effectively and efficiently. The result of this training is origami can be an alternative way in improving creativity and courage of children in expressing ideas.
