Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the comparative advantage and papaya competitive and to design its development model by using the approach of local base agriculture development. This research uses survey method. The resulting research shows that papaya is a base commodity that has comparative advantage and competitive. The development papaya in the district of Sukabumi is quite good bases on eight superior creations. But in order to be the main sector in economic development and has a competition, the development of papaya must concern to its influence factors. In supporting papaya development as a competitive local superior commodity, it needs to be done some efforts are as follows: (1) increase a skillful worker; (2) improve business management; (3) increase papaya productivity by using technology and study papaya planted technology in specific local superior commodity; (4) develop the involvement of the business relation; (5) provide market information and information technology network; and (6) improve infrastructures.

Abstract

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keunggulan cabe  merah dan tomat di Kabupaten Sukabumi agar dapat menetapkan arah pengembangannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey, dengan fokus penelitian mengaplikasikan metode description scoring dalam menentukan kriteria unggul cabe merah dan tomat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis description scoring tersebut kemudian diusulkan arah pengembangannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa cabe merah memiliki kriteria lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan tomat. Walaupun berdasarkan nilainya cabe merah lebih unggul, namun berdasarkan kategori keduanya termasuk pada komoditas sedang berdasarkan kriteria unggul. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak kelemahan pada kedua komoditas ini yang harus ditingkatkan sehingga keduanya dapat dikatakan benar-benar memiliki keunggulan yang tinggi.  Berdasarkan kelemahan pada kriteria unggul, pengembangan cabe merah dan tomat di Kabupaten Sukabumi hendaknya diarahkan kepada peningkatan pada kriteria-kriteria keunggulan yang masih kurang. Upaya peningkatan dapat dilakukan diantaranya dengan penguatan kelompok tani dan peningkatan peran pemerintah.Kata Kunci:, unggul, pengembangan, cabai merah, tomatAbstractThe objective of this study was to find out the superiority of chili and tomato in order to determine its development. Survey method was conducted by applying description scoring in determining superior criteria of chili and tomato.  Its development would be suggested based on the result of description scoring analysis. The result of this study indicated that based on the score chili has more superior criteria than tomato. However based on category both of them were included in medium commodity of superior criteria. Thus, it indicated both of the commodities have weaknesses that should be improved to gain high superiority. Based on the weaknesses on superior criteria, the development of chili and tomato in the District of Sukabumi should be directed to the improvement of superiority criteria which were still lacking.  The efforts of improvement could be conducted by reinforcing group of farmers and increasing role of government. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi konsumen terhadap sayuran terubuk di pasar modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Jumlah responden yang diteliti sebanyak 54 orang, dengan menggunakan insidental sampling. Rancangan analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara keseluruhan persepsi konsumen terhadap sayuran terubuk di pasar modern berdasarkan dimensi kinerja produk, ketahanan produk dan karakteristik produk memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 149 dengan interval skor rata-rata sebesar 2,75. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa persepsi konsumen sebanyak 92% menyatakan “menarik” terhadap sayuran terubuk di pasar modern. Simpulan ini dapat menjadi informasi dalam peluang pasar untuk pemasaran terubuk di pasar modern. Kata kunci : persepsi, konsumen, terubuk, pasar modern AbstractThis study aims to determine how consumers' perceptions of terubuk vegetables in the modern market. The method used in this study is a survey method. The number of respondents studied was 54 people, using incidental sampling. The analysis design used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study revealed that overall consumer perceptions of terubuk vegetables in the modern market based on the dimensions of product performance, product endurance and product characteristics obtained an average score of 149 with an average score interval of 2.75. This shows that 92% of consumers' perceptions say they are "attractive" to terubuk vegetables in the modern market. This conclusion can be information on market opportunities for marketing at the modern markets.Keywords: perception, consumer, terubuk, modern market

Abstract

Problems in agricultural development often encountered in almost all regions in Indonesia are the inadequate use of natural resource potentials, limited ability to manage resources, and lack of synergy between economic actors. These various problems require improved performance through integrated management and development of commodities from upstream to downstream. This research aims to design a working model for the development of local superior commodities in Sukabumi Regency through a survey method conducted in 33 subdistricts. The research resulted in a working model design for the development of local superior commodities in Sukabumi Regency which involved aspects of resource contribution (labor/human resources, natural resources, capital and infrastructure) as well as aspects of work and performance (farmer institutions, extension agencies, financial and marketing institutions, education, training, experiences, sales ability and product demand) to be able to generate advantages. Until now, agricultural development is still facing various obstacles and added value (profitability, market, productivity and learning). All components in the working model design for developing local superior commodities in Sukabumi Regency must be supported by government policies to maximize the increase in added value for both farmers and the community

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).PPKM is a government program that regulates restrictions on community activities in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Since the beginning of the pandemic, Indonesia has begun to be unsettled by various sectors, one of which is the economic sector. Covid-19 hit the Indonesian economy very drastically, especially when the PPKM was implemented.  Many economic sectors are disrupted and unable to operate because they depend on each other, one of which is the agricultural sector.  The determination of the PPKM coincides with the Eid al-Adha, wherein during this period there will be an increase in the demand of livestock for qurban. This has an impact on the demand and supply of livestock due to restrictions on activities.  This study was conducted to determine the marketing strategy livestock for qurban during the PPKM period, using qualitative methods from descriptive data.  Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observing PT Mahir Farm Nusantara (MFN).  The results of the study present a discussion of the marketing strategy.  The strategy carried out by MFN is the implementation of the 4Ps (Product, Promotion, Price, and Place).  The product strategy is in the form of qurban distribution innovation, the promotion strategy is in the form of discounts, the price strategy is that every buyer has the opportunity to get a discount or cashback, and the place strategy is flexible in product delivery, so as to maintain and improve product quality.  With this innovation strategy, it can suppress the decline in total sales at PT Mahir Farm Nusantara during the PPKM period.

Abstract

This Community Service is entitled Microgreens Farming Business Training for Housewives in Sukabumi. The empowerment of housewives is intended to produce the potential of housewives, in addition to being able to carry out domestic or domestic duties. Housewives are also able to be active and productive in public activities and economic activities. Microgreens are vegetable seeds that are harvested very young, 7-14 days after germinating and young leaves appear. The method used in this service is the training method; namely, before carrying out direct practice, participants understand through theory first. The training participants were housewives from several women's organizations in Sukabumi. This community service is the acquisition of skills of housewives in farming microgreens and the increasing role of housewives in family welfare through the provision of healthy vegetables for the family.

Abstract

Penelitian   merupakan studi kasus   di  Kabupaten Sukabumi.  Kabupaten Sukabumi dipilih berdasarkan  potensi pertanian dan banyaknya  tanaman terubuk ditemukan tetapi belum dikembangkan dan belum  mendapat sentuhan teknologi.  Penelitian ini tujuan akhirnya  adalah agar terubuk dapat dikembangkan sehingga petani turubuk dapat melaksanakan  usahatani yang menghasilkan terubuk dengan karakter best comodity.    Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  merancang model pengembangan usahatani terubuk di Kabupaten Sukabumi.  Model kinerja pengembangan usahatani terubuk yang dihasilkan dari kajian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dengan tetap memperhatikan aspek pengembangan secara terfokus dan dukungan serta kebijakan pemerintah. Pengembangan terubuk akan berhasil apabila memperhatikan enam unsur utama pengembangan yaitu: sumberdaya manusia, lahan, produk, teknologi, pasar dan kelembagaan. Keenam unsur itu apabila dapat melaksanakan proses dan kinerja dengan baik maka pengembangan terubuk akan efektif.
