Abstract

The purpose of entrepreneurship training is to increase intention, motivation, and entrepreneurship skills to the orphanage children. An Orphanage girl is selection as training objects because they need to have the skills to train their own souls. Entrepreneurship training is aim to training financial independence early on. Entrepreneurship training and making beads brooch located at Al-Chusnaini Sidoarjo  Orphanage, which followed by 34 participants consisting of young women and administrators of orphanages. The method of implementation is used two steps. The first step is entrepreneurship learning and the second step is the workshop of making beads brooch. This training goes as expected. The results of the questionnaire indicate that generally, the training is able to understand by the participants. Most of the participants thought that training were able to increase their skills, and there was an increase in entrepreneurship intention. Abstract

AbstractThis research studies the relation between Firm Size, DER, Sales Growth, and ROE on Dividend Payout Ratio all non financial firms which listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2009-2011. Dividend payout has been an issue of interest in financial literature. The problems in this research is still have an inconsistency of data empirical phenomena and still found a gap research that examines the Dividend Payout Ratio which is measured by Firm Size, Debt Equity Ratio, and Sales Growth. moreover, this research try to test ROE as an intervening variable.In this research using the technique of path analysis with AMOS. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling, and from the 461 listed companies, only 77 companies that can be sampled. Before using the path analysis, we must do the test assumption of normality and outliers.The research found a significant positive relations Firm Size and ROE on DPR, as well as a significant positive relations Firm Size and Sales Growth on ROE. The research also found a significant negative relationship DER on DPR. However, this research has found no significant effect Sales Growth on DPR, as well as in relation DER on ROE. ROE was found able to be intervening variables for influence of Firm Size on DPR. While in the test influence of DER and Sales Growth on DPR, ROE can’t be intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the relationship of leadership roles and entrepreneurial orientation to the performance of SMIs in the City of Kediri, where good management of SMEs can encourage SMEs to compete with other SMIs. The population of this study was all food SMIs in Kediri City, from that population, it was agreed that the judge sampling method would examine 30 SMIs in Kediri City. Data analysis techniques in this study used path analysis. The results showed that the management of SMIs is highly dependent on the role of entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial orientation, and business strategy. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial leadership factors and leadership orientation have a significant positive effect on business performance, while business strategies have not yet influenced business strategies and cannot be a mediating factor in this study.

Abstract

Financial inclusion is one of the interesting discussions in global economic development. Indonesia is a country in ASEAN which has the most rapid increase in financial inclusion in recent years. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, everyone is required to be able to follow the development of existing technology and information. This study aims to determine the influence of independent variables (financial literacy, financial technology, demographics) on the dependent variable (financial inclusion) in the City of Surabaya. This study is a causality study with quota sampling. The data of this study is quantitative by collecting data by questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The result of this study based on t statistical tests show that financial literacy, age, and education have a positive effect on financial inclusion. While the variables financial technology, gender, and income did not affect on financial inclusion. Based on the statistical test f, all of the independent variables simultaneously influence the dependent variable (financial inclusion).

Abstract

Retirement planning is an important thing that should be a concern and implemented by every working people to achieve their happiness in retirement years, especially in countries like Indonesia, which experience a significant increase in the number of elderly each year. Focus on civil servants who are guaranteed pension funds from the government, each year, the number of workers who enter retirement age. This research aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, future orientation, age, and gender on retirement planning. The research sample is 110 respondents who are civil servants in Surabaya—collecting data by online questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression by SPSS. This research results in financial literacy and future orientation positively affecting retirement planning. In contrast, the variables age and gender did not affect retirement planning.

Abstract

The use of masks is one way to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The importance of using these masks has resulted in the need for masks to increase, and items are hard to find in the market. One of the parties who need masks is children. The need for child masks is also experienced by students in the Al-Chusnaini Islamic boarding school in Sidoarjo. The methods used are training and mentoring. The targeted participants are 30 children of the Al Chusnaini Islamic boarding school in Sidoarjo. The training is carried out online, with the resource person providing material via a video uploaded via YouTube. Overall this activity went smoothly, and the enthusiasm of the Al Chusnaini students was also evident. The effectiveness of measured activities according to the data in the discussion section. Hopefully, this activity can be carried out in other places in the future. For the partners, they hope that other materials can be taught to boarding school children so that they have skills outside of school lessons.

Abstract

In early 2020, almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia, experienced the impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. The people of Sukomulyo Lamongan Village are among those affected economically as a result of this pandemic. To overcome this problem, we have the initiative to provide training on making face shield masks to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The mask making training is expected to be able to increase knowledge and increase the income of program at village level to educate women on various aspects of family welfare or woman in PKK (Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga). The purpose of this community service implementation is to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to create independence woman in PKK by learning to produce face shield masks. The method we do is by socializing about COVID-19, healthy living patterns during the pandemic, and training in making face shield masks. The results of this activity, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, show that 70% feel moved to implement the 5M and MIO movements, and 76% of participants plan to practice making their own face shield masks and will be sold. It can be concluded that this activity provides new experiences for PKK mothers in the Sukomulyo village about the importance of maintaining health during a pandemic, and making face shield masks.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.4887

Abstract

Every teacher is obliged to carry out various activities in carrying out his duties and responsibilities. The scope of the teacher's activities includes (1) attending education, (2) handling the learning process, (3) conducting professional development activities and (4) supporting activities. The two partners of this activity have the same problem, namely, the teachers still have difficulty in making scientific papers. Whereas professional teachers expect to be able to pursue a career with scientific work for promotion. When viewed from the facts in the field (both partners), only 20% of teachers can write good scientific work.Methods of training, mentoring and monitoring to resolve partner issues that have been mutually agreed upon and stages in achieving the solutions offered to overcome the main problems of partners in the period of program realization. In the initial conditions before the training, only 7 teachers had PTK designs, but after training and mentoring, there were 20 teachers who drafted PTK proposals, the remaining 5 were still constrained.
