Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of bank credit for the government sector, bank credit for the private sector, and exchange rate on current account balance in ASEAN countries. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with the Random Effect EGLS panel data method. The data used are secondary data, obtained from the World Bank, FRED, and CEIC from 1990-2019. The results of this study indicate that exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on current account balance in ASEAN countries. Similarly, bank credit for the government sector, have a positive and significant effect on the current account balance. In addition, private sector bank credit, have a positive impact on the current account balance.

Abstract

AbstractThis study objective is to analyze the factors which affect the trade balance in ASEAN countries. The data in this study uses secondary data in the form of annual data from 1990 to 2019 obtained from the World Bank, FRED, CEIC, andthe Ministry of Finance. The method employed is the GLS random effect panel data analysis model. The conclusion of this study is that the exchange rates, government consumption and Net Foreign Assets have a significant and positive effect on the trade balance of ASEAN countries.

Abstract

AbstractThis research purposes to examine the profile of child labor (Case Study in Banda Aceh City), using purposive sampling method, by sharing enquettes to 45 informants (child workers). Data processing is done with Microsoft Office Excel program. The results of this research indicate that the majority of the child laborers in Banda Aceh City are children whose daily status is as students. They beg after school. This work activities do can have both positive and negative effects. The positive effect is that income from work can be saved for daily necessities such as allowance, school necessities and ease the burden on the family. While the negative effect is that children are exploited or their growth and development are stunted, so that they cannot be optimal of physically, mentally, socially and intellectually.Keywords: Child Labor, Employment and Poverty.
