Abstract

The hospitality industry is one of the tourism facilities that play an important to increasing tourism revenues, but has risks as a place of transmission and spread of disease. This aims of study to provide an overview of the application of hygiene and sanitation at the Hotel Kusuma Kartika Sari Surakarta (Hotel KKS) by referring to Permenkes. 80 of 1990 on hotel health requirements and Decree of the Director General of PPM and PLP no. 95 of the year 1991 on the assessment of the Hotel Health Check. The research method is descriptive with interview technique and direct observation using hotel health inspection questionnaire. The result of research shows that Hotel KKS was in the healthy category based on hygiene and sanitation assessment calculation with presentation of 79%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of sanitation of Hotel KKS met the requirements of Hygiene and sanitation but for the environmental requirements variable it is still possible to enter and multiply the disease vector and annoying animal. In the room and space requirement variables there is no separation of male and female rest room and unavailability of locker for employees, goods in unorganized warehouse and height of shelf below 20 cm. On the variables of health requirements and sanitation facilities that the bathroom has not met the minimum amount in accordance with the number of employees and waste bins that still allow the proliferation of disease vectors and insects. Based on these results the hotel is expected to maintain the variables that have been qualified and improve the requirements that have not been met. Keywords: Hygiene, Hospitality Sanitation

Abstract

Shift work has an important role in human problems that can spread to sleep disorders, physical disorders, psychology, and social problems in the family. Shift work can also affect human physical and psychological changes such as fatigue. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between work shifts and the level of work fatigue in the inpatient service unit of PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. This research method uses an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. The research subjects were nurses in the inpatient service unit of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital with a population of 106 people. The sample is 57 people using purposive sampling. The research instrument used a reaction timer for fatigue to measure fatigue and a questionnaire for work shifts, the data were analyzed by statistical tests using one-way ANOVA to show the level of nurse fatigue based on work shifts. Results: The results showed that there were differences in the level of work fatigue of nurses on work shifts in the inpatient service unit at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta where p (value) oneway ANOVA showed p = 0.031. To analyze different groups of shift workers, the data will be analyzed post hoc using the Games Howell test. The results of the Games Howell test show a p value = 0.102 between the morning shift and the afternoon shift, which means that there is no difference in the level of fatigue in the morning shift and afternoon shift. The morning shift and night shift showed a p value = 0.036 and the afternoon shift and night shift showed a p value = 0.036, which means that there are differences in the level of fatigue. Conclusion: There is a difference in the level of work fatigue of nurses based on work shifts in the inpatient service unit of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital and the level of work fatigue due to hard work on the morning shift.

Abstract

Dusun 04 Teguhan, Madiun dengan sebagian besar penduduknya menggunakan kendaraan bermotor untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup seperti mobilisasi dari rumah menuju tempat kerja. Masyarakat pedesaan cenderung kurang mematuhi peraturan lalu lintas yang ada karena kurangnya pengawasan dari pihak berwenang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan umur, pengetahuan, dan perilaku safety riding dengan kepatuhan lalu lintas di Dusun 04 Teguhan, Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Responden penelitian dari pengendara motor masyarakat Dusun 04 Teguhan, Madiun. Populasi penelitian terdiri 250 orang dengan jumlah sampel  95 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan formulir identitas diri untuk mengetahui data diri responden. dan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui data pengetahuan safety riding, perilaku safety riding, dan kepatuhan lalu lintas. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Statistik 25 untuk uji korelasi Somers,d dan analisis regresi logistik. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara umur dengan kepatuhan lalu lintas (p=0,002 ; r=0,293). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan safety riding dengan kepatuhan lalu lintas (p=0,000; r=0,958). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku safety riding (p=0,000; r=0,899). terdapat hubungan umur, pengetahuan, perilaku safety riding dengan kepatuhan lalu lintas, yang mempunyai hubungan paling besar variabel bebas pengetahuan safety riding dengan variabel terikat kepatuhan lalu lintas (p=0,009 ; OR=10.041). Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders pada tahun 2018, oleh World Health Organization dinyatakan sebagai sebagai penyumbang disabilitas terbesar kedua di dunia. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya masalah muskuloskeletal seperti faktor pekerjaan, faktor eksternal dan faktor individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara postur kerja dan karakteristik individu dengan keluhan muskuloskeletal pada operator welding di PT. Barata Indonesia Cilegon. PT. Barata Indonesia Cilegon merupakan industri manufaktur yang memproduksi komponen turbin dengan salah satu proses produksinya adalah kegiatan pengelasan. Benda yang akan dilas memiliki berbagai letak celah, yang seringkali memaksa operator welding untuk melakukan pekerjaannya dengan postur statis dan tidak ergonomis yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri pada sistem muskuloskeletal. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data diperoleh dari 40 operator welding di PT. Barata Indonesia Cilegon. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Somers’d dan analisis regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil uji Somers'd menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara postur kerja dengan keluhan muskuloskeletal (p=0,002), usia dan keluhan muskuloskeletal (p=0,001), indeks massa tubuh dan keluhan muskuloskeletal (p=0,000) serta ada hubungan antara masa kerja dan keluhan muskuloskeletal (p=0,000). Variabel yang paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini adalah postur kerja dengan nilai OR = 52.039.

Abstract

The Sumber Urip Rabbit Breeders Association has a role in the economic development of Karanganyar Regency. It is necessary to empower rabbit breeders, including maintaining the supply of fuel for the processing of rabbit feed, namely hay grass. Rabbit farmers in the village of Padon Gayamdompo Karanganyar are currently using LPG as fuel for processing hay grass. Still, the erratic availability of LPG and the relatively high cost of purchasing LPG are obstacles. Wood pellets are an alternative fuel source that rabbit breeders can use in Karanganyar Regency. There is a sawmill near the rabbit breeders' association, which produces a large amount of unused sawdust. The solution offered to the Sumber Urip Rabbit Breeders Association is alternative energy from wood pellets. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) is implemented by socializing wood pellets, making wood pellet machines and their furnaces, practicing making wood pellets while testing wood pellet machines, practicing using wood pellet stoves for hay grass processing, and calculating the efficiency of fuel use wood pellets in hay grass processing. The impact of this PKM activity is that rabbit breeders gain knowledge and skills in making wood pellets, using them as fuel, and benefiting from using wood pellets, reducing the cost of processing hay grass by 33%.
