Abstract

This paper wants to review the findings of the Indonesian National Army in the legislative elections, which post the abolition of the Indonesian military's dual function policy. The argument in this paper that the professionalism of the TNI is one of the supporting factors in realizing a clean democracy by maintaining security in the legislative elections in Bireun Regency. It is seen from several things. First, the security carried out by the TNI during the legislative elections. Second, discipline members and families from being involved in legislative elections. This study uses a qualitative research approach that is able to generate descriptive data related to the role of the TNI in legislative elections. The results of this study show that there is a professional TNI in maintaining security during the legislative election process while remaining consistent with its neutrality policy. Thus the role of the community is still very necessary in providing support to the consistency of TNI neutrality and professionalism so as to affect the maturity of electoral democracy.

Abstract

The development of Islamic banking in indonesia is getting better, a lot of banks that finallyopened a subsidiary engaged in the field of sharia or islamic business units. This is because theopening of the eyes of society Indonesia will practice usury in haram banks and conventionalbanking practices that want to locate in the halal In religion views. With this research, it,s expectedtobe made public is more aware of such differences, particlarly regarding concepts for results andinterest.The Research method is qualitative data analysis methods. This analysis aims to find outwhether the system applied by the object of research in accordance with theories that have beenstudied. Awarding of costs of the customer either in financing or in financing credit mudharabahby Bank Syariah X and Bank X not off of the various procedures that have been recorded on thecompany’s manual and various kinds of analysis. With meet procedure credit financingdetermined, the credit financing can work smoothly and can be done in management too. Infunding there are elements that is essential for survival bank. In mudharabah financing, theelements is a benefit sharing (for a results) that is, process benefit-sharing among owner funds andfund management according calneh the agreed. To financing credit, the element called interest,namely additional worn into transactions lending money. There are diffrences in the system for theresults and system interest,of them calneh agreement beginning, profit banks and customer andothers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out how PT. IMS Company dealt with the communication crisis and how it maintain its reputation and stability during the pre and post crisis of former employees in the company. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with a semi-structured interview in collecting the required data by interviewing 6 people consisting of 1 employee of the HRD section of PT. Ima Montaz Sejahtera and 5 people from the employees and former employees of PT. Ima Montaz Sejahtera, The theory used in this research was Situational Communication Crisis Theory (SCCT).In selecting the informants; this researched used purposive sampling method. The results showed that the company did such as socialization on the employees affected by the company. The socialization consisted of an independent business training program and severance pay. Furthermore, the company also determined to the strengthen relationship among employees by beginning to cooperate and invest on the business that have been set up by former employees. Keywords: Corporate; Reputation; Crisis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Peran Media Baru dalam Mengubah Perilaku Perokok Tembakau ke Rokok Elektrik di Kota Banda Aceh”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran media baru dalam merubah perilaku perokok tembakau ke elektrik di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini ialah peran media baru. Objek penelitiannya tentang perilaku perokok tembakau elektrik di Kota Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan pada pengguna vapor dan studi dokumentasi pada media baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Instagram dan Youtube memjadi salah satu sumber informasi pengguna vapor tentang referensi terkait dunia vapor. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh pengguna rokok ialah bagaimana caranya menghilangkan kecanduan rokok tembakau yang dialami oleh mereka sehingga mereka beralih pada rokok elektrik, karena alasan kesehatan dan keuangan. Informasi yang didapatkan pengguna vapor dapat ditemukan di media-media baru dan memberikan gambaran tentang cara penggunaan vapor, sehingga dapat merubah perilaku mereka.

Abstract

This study attempted to determine the role of Public Relation (PR) of Banda Aceh’s Environmental, Cleanliness, and the Beauty of the City Agency on the “Waste Collecting Point (WCP) program. The theory used was role theory developed by Redfield, Linton, and Herskovits. The method which was being used wasdescriptive qualitative, which the subject of the study was PR division and societies. The finding showed that PR division played a very important role in the success of Waste Collecting Point (WCP) program from the beginning until the outcome being shown on the cleanliness of the districts. Starting from the socialization process, the program showed significant success. Persuasive communication was being used to conduct the program. PR division made initial socialization by informing the societies about the danger of the waste if not managed properly then followed by monthly evaluation on the cleaning leader. Abstract

This research aims to identify types of media used by the Acehnese people in seeking information about COVID-19, and people’s perceptions and responses to the information that increases their likelihood of the risk of the pandemic. This study employs a quantitative approach, in which an online survey distributed through social media. All 324 respondents gave their consent to participate in filling out the research questionnaire. The study found that Acehnese people prefer online media and television (TV) to receive information about COVID-19, especially when people can access the information online (streaming). The finding indicates that people tend to trust information obtained through the media more than direct information (face to face) conveyed by the government. Regarding the public responses, this study found that most respondents argue the lack of government action in disseminating information about COVID-19.  It is believed that this condition is likely to bring up false information (hoax) from untrustworthy information sources. This response has an impact on the level of public trust towards the government as the main source of information in handling the pandemic. Respondents claim that the local government has a slow response in providing information about people who are infected by the virus, including insufficient information on the intervention of prevention and treatment carried out to stop the spread of the virus.

Abstract

Indonesia’s tobacco control law enforcement remains weak and has not regulated the total ban on tobacco advertisement, promotion, and sponsorship bans (TAPS). Meanwhile, mediated anti-smoking messages have been significantly found to reduce smoking prevalence in many countries, helping people to stop smoking and preventing new smokers. Unfortunately, the anti-smoking Public Service Advertisements (PSAs) in Indonesia is unable to compete with the extensive and creative cigarette advertising or pro-smoking messages in many media platforms. Messages encouraging people to stop smoking and delivering the hazardous effects of smoking remain spotty in terms of numbers and visibility, leaving people with limited information about the adverse effects of smoking. There has been little research literature looking at how people perceived the effectiveness of anti-smoking messages. This study aims to identify and assess the anti-smoking PSAs by #suaratanparokok. A content analysis is carried out to examine the perceived effectiveness of the #suaratanparokok PSAs on YouTube. The involvement of YouTube influencers and optimizing social media platforms are important in delivering the PSAs. This study provides insights and recommendations to warn people about the danger of smoking through effective anti-smoking messages.
