Abstract

ABSTRACT School is one of the three main of education which is demanded to be able to create the best output. To create school to be the best, it needs the suitable operational of school management with the desirable principle and characteristic of special quality. For that reason, the headmaster is demanded to function the management that could optimize all school resources autonomously, accountable, and transparent. Decentralization of education offers new paradigm for the leader to be more autonomous and fostering entire school resource to be the best school. One of them is the change of education management where the schools are demanded to do the change of school management. To change central-based management or local-based management into school-based management is a long process that involves all related components. This change needs adjustments in the structure, culture and figure system through new demands on school-based management. School-based management is not “ace in the hole” that will deliver expectation on school reformation if it is implemented without innovative, creative, anticipative, and transformative leadership principles.   Key words: School-Based Management, The Best School, Adaptive, Anticipative, and Transformative Education.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel  ini dilatarbelakangi  oleh adanya perubahan paradigma dari guru sebagai pusat dalam pembelajaran/ Teacher  Centered  Learning   (TCL) kepada siswa sebagai pusat dalam pembelajaran/Student Centered  Learning  (SCL). Untuk maksud tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian kualitatif dengan memfokuskan pada metode presentasi sebagai salah satu metode yang dapat diaplikasikan  untuk  mengaktualisasikan   Student Centered Learning (SCL) dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Metode ini dapat diterapkan pada fokus menempatkan  audiens sebagai komponen penting dalam keberhasilan  pembelajaran aktif. Peran guru di sini adalah hanya sebagai seorang hakim super yang memungkinkan presenter untuk menangani kegiatan kelas dan menerapkan beberapa teknik untuk membuat para audien aktif dan interaktif.Kata kunci:  Student Centered  Learning  (SCL), presentasi, audiens sebagai pusat pembelajaranAUDIENCE CENTERED ON  THE METHOD OF PRESENTATION AS THE ACTUALIZATION OF STUDENT LEARNING CENTERED APPROACH. The writing of this article was based on the changing of the paradigm from Teacher Centered Learning  (TCL)  to Student Centered  Learning (SCL). For that purpose, the author  did a qualitative research by focusing  on the presentation method as one of methods that can be apply to actualize the SCL in the learning process in classroom. This method  could be applied on the focus of audience centered that places the audience as the important component in the success of an active learning. The role of the teacher here is only as a super judge who lets the presenters to handle the classroom activities and apply some techniques to make their audience be active and interactive.Keywords: Student Centered Learning (SCL), presentation, audience centered

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept and implementation of integrative thematic learning in class I of State Elementary School 2 Barongan Kudus. Integrative thematic learning is a learning approach that integrates the various competencies of the various subjects into a variety of themes, so as to provide meaningful experiences to the students. The goal is to encourage learners to be able in observing, asking, reasoning, and better presenting what they gain or know after receiving instructional materials. Objects in learning relate to natural phenomena, social, art, and culture. The application of integrative thematic learning is a learning effort that is oriented at the stage of development of elementary school students who in its development still see everything as a whole unity and only able to understand the relationship between concepts in a simple way. Therefore, through integrative thematic approach students are expected to have a much better attitude, skills, and knowledge competence.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada masa kanak-kanak memegang peran penting dan sangat esensial memberikan pengaruh yang sangat dalam, yang mendasari proses pendidikan dan perkembangan anak selanjutnya. Pada usia lima tahun pertama masa kanak-kanak penuh dengan kejadian penting dan unik (a highly eventfull and unique period of life) yang meletakkan dasar bagi kehidupan seseorang di masa dewasa. Selanjutnya, pendidikan menjadi starting point yang sangat efektif dalam membekali keimanan dan ketakwaan yang kuat kepada anak-anak, fondasi pengetahuan modern, serta wawasan kemasyarakatan dan kebangsaan yang holistik dan komprehensif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penerapan pendidikan secara Qur’ani untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan anak usia dini baik secara intelektual (IQ), emosional (EQ), maupun spiritual (SQ), seperti yang telah diterapkan oleh TK Masyitoh Mranggen Demak. Dengan menerapkan beberapa metode Qur’ani, guru TK Masyitoh mampu mensinergikan tiga kecerdasan tersebut. Sehingga, anak dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual secara seimbang. Pengembangan kecerdasan-kecerdasan tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan bekal anak dalam menempuh tugas perkembangan di usia selanjutnya serta memberikan dasar yang penting dalam mempersiapkan anak menjadi pribadi yang utuh, berakidah mantap, berakhlak mulia, berkemampuan akademis tinggi, serta berguna bagi masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.
