Abstract

This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lancang Kuning. The study was conducted for 3 months from September to November 2015. This study is a descriptive research, where the first process is the process of making organic fertilizer derived from pineapple skin waste fermented for 1 month POC that has been taken samplenya and tested in the laboratory to determine the content of micro and macro nutrients and C-organicnya. To measure macro and micro nutrient content, the test method used was Kjeldahl for nitrogen content, while for P, K, CaO, MgO and Fe, the Atomic Absobtion spectrophometric (AAS) method was used and the C-organic content was tested by spectrophometric method. The results showed that POC of Pineapple Skin Waste contained P 23,63 ppm, K 08,25 ppm, N 01,27%, Ca 27,55 ppm, Mg 137,25 ppm, Na 79,52 ppm, Na 79, 52 ppm , Fe 1,27 ppm, Mn 28,75 ppm, Cu 0,17 ppm, Zn 0,53 ppm and C Organic 3,10%.

Abstract

Nowadays people are increasingly concerned about the importance of product quality. The use of fertilizers derived from organic materials is believed to bring more benefits to agricultural products where products become healthier, environmentally friendly and can reduce the negative impact of chemicals that are harmful to humans and the environment. Veg mole is expected in addition to its local microorganisms also Nitrogen element content can increase the growth and production of mustard plants.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect and to get a good dose of MOL vegetable waste on the growth and production of mustard plants.The experiment was conducted experimentally using non factorial completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatment levels and 4 replications to obtain 20 experimental units. Each plot consists of 16 plants and 4 plants as sample. The level of treatment is as follows: Mo: Without giving MOL of vegetable waste, M1: Giving MOL vegetable waste 75 cc / l water, M2: Giving of MOL vegetable waste 150 cc / l water, M3: Giving MOL vegetable waste 225 cc / l water , M4: Giving MOL vegetable waste 300 cc / l waterThe result of this research can be concluded that vegetable MOL has no significant effect on all observed parameters, ie plant height (cm), number of leaf (strands), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), wet weight (g) consumption (g).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain sweet corn varieties that can be cultivated Pekanbaru. The method used is an experimental method to design treatment 5 varieties of sweet corn that is v1 = Sugar 75; v2 = Star Asia; v3 = Bonanza; v4 = Sagita sweet; v5 = Master sweet, and using a completely randomized design environment and repeated 6 times. Parameter observation is plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, length cob without husk (cm), weight berkelobot cob, cob weight without berkelobot (g), and seed sugar content (%). The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by DMRT multiple range test at 5%. Asia Star varieties are best varieties, followed by varetas sagita Sweet.

Abstract

Research conducted experiments using a completely randomized design environment with three replications, and design of treatment that is the time of planting silk kale as secondary crops to the cultivation of sweet corn (K) consisting of: k1 = planting at the same time; k2 = time of planting silk kale 1 week after planting sweet corn; k3 = time of planting silk kale 2 weeks after planting sweet corn; k4 = time of planting silk kale 3 weeks after planting sweet corn; K5 = single planting sweet corn planting time = k1; k6 = single silk kale planting time = k1. The results showed that silk kale can be planted together with sweet corn planting time, up to three weeks after planting sweet corn. Results of sweet corn is not influenced by the timing of planting different silk kale. Land values in the cropping system Equality sweet corn with silk kale is 1.83. Competition index between sweet corn and silk kale is 1.73.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu faktor H (Herbafarm) terdiri dari 5 (lima) taraf yaitu: H0 (tanpa pemberian pupuk Herbafarm), H1 (Pemberian Herbafarm 2.5 cc/ liter air), H2 (Pemberian Herbafarm 5 cc/ liter air), H3 (Pemberian Herbafarm 7.5 cc/ liter air), H4 (Pemberian Herbafarm 10 cc/ liter air) dan masing- masing dengan 4 ulangan. Jumlah satuan percobaan sebanyak 20 plot setiap plot terdiri dari 8 tanaman dan 4 tanaman sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berbeda nyata terhadap parameter berat tongkol dengan kelobot dan berbeda tidak nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, panjang daun,lebar daun, berat tongkol dengan kelobot dan panjang tongkol.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi yang baik dari MOL limbah kulit nenas. Penelitian dilakukan secara experimen dengan metoda RAL. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah daun, tinggi batang, panjang daun, lebar daun, berat brangkas basah dan berat konsumsi dengan taraf pemberian 0, 75, 150, 225 dan 300 cc/l. Hasil yang terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan 300 cc/l

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to obtain the chemical composition of compost and POC Azolla mycrophylla. The study was conducted experimentally with the initial stages of composting and POC Azolla mycrophylla after which laboratory analysis of its chemical composition was carried out. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis based on the results of laboratory tests on the chemical composition of Azolla-based compost. The results of the study concluded that the results of chemical analysis of compost and POC Azolla mycrophylla showed that the content of Azolla mycrophylla compost was higher than that of the Azolla mycrophylla POC. The results of the compost analysis of Azolla mycrophylla and Azolla mycrophylla POC have met the standards of organic fertilizer according to Minister of Agriculture No.28 of 2009.
