Abstract

Rubber or rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis) is one of the export commodities that become the source of income for the state income. From year to year, the increasing demand for rubber in various areas is very significant. Dusun IV Bandar Sidomulyo is a hamlet located in Lempuyang Bandar Village, Way Pengubuan Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency with ± 200 houses where source of livelihood is still depend on rubber plantation. So the residents must be willing to peel the skin of rubber plants at early days to get maximum rubber yield. The prototype of Automatic Rubber Tree Tool based on Microcontroller that has been designed works peeling the bark of a tree with depth 1,5 mm with Duwet or Jamblang (Syzygium cumini) trees as an object, so that the tool can be used to peel rubber automatically on rubber trees generally.

Abstract

Aside from being a place of lectures, UMY also has several business units such as building rental, bus rental, auto care, and drinking water production. From the activities of UMY's business unit caused the number of outside vehicles entering UMY. The public vehicle does not have RFID as well as the UMY's internal civitas. Currently still using manpower to provide parking cards and open the door. In this study, a prototype of an automated parking system can provide a parking card and open the entrance. This prototype uses a switch as a sensor, a microcontroller as a controller, LCD as a guide display for the model of vehicle that will enter, and motor servo DC as the driver of parking doors. The entire circuit is able to form a prototype automatic parking door at UMY

Abstract

This paper presents performance analysis of synchronous generator: a case study in steam power plant PT POMI Paiton unit 7 Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia. The steam power plant is the most powerful in Indonesia. The dominance of this type of power plant can be seen from statistical data that until the end of 2018 there were 48.43% of steam power plants out of the total installed capacity of national plants. Generators used in steam power plants are generally of the synchronous generator type, which in its operation always experiences dynamics from time to time as the load changes in electricity. In this study, an analysis of the performance of synchronous generators has been carried out concerning changes in electricity load. Synchronous generator performance analysis includes output voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, and generator efficiency. The steam power plant in this study is the largest capacity power plant in Indonesia, thus providing an important role in the supply of electric power. Based on the results of the study, it has been shown that although the load dynamics that experience changes are very dynamic, the generator performance still has good performance.

Abstract

At this time controlling electrical equipment in the form of fans and lights are still mostly using conventional switches. By using an android voice command device with a bluetooth connection, controlling the equipment can be easier. Using a Bluetooth connection will reduce the use of cables and speed up the process of activating or deactivating electronic devices because they do not have to get close to reach the switch. With input in the form of voice commands is very easy in controlling electronic devices such as fans and lights. With the adjustment of the fan speed and brightness of the lights with voice commands can save electricity and more easily in its settings

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah Minggir merupakan salah satu sekolah kejuruan di Kecamatan Minggir yang berdiri pada 2007 dan memiliki Jurusan Farmasi dan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Pada waktu itu animo masyarakat untuk mendaftar sebagai siswa cukup tinggi, tetapi setelah beberapa tahun berjalan jumlah siswa yang mendaftar mulai menurun. Fasilitas laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik sudah cukup lengkap, tetapi belum memiliki modul pembelajaran tentang energi terbarukan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman terhadap implementasi energi terbarukan berupa sistem penerangan jalan umum berbasis sel surya, menambah fasilitas laboratorium, sebagai penerangan jalan umum dan dapat dipergunakan sebagai media promosi sekolah. Luaran yang diharapkan dari program ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan guru dalam memahami sistem pemanfaatan energi terbarukan khususnya sel surya. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melaksanakan workshop implementasi penerangan jalan umum berbasis panel surya. Hasil dari kegiatan berupa sistem penerangan jalan umum berbasis sel surya berjenis PLTS Off-grid dengan spesifikasi surya panel 80 Wp, Lampu DC LED 30 Watt termasuk modul smart solar charge controller, baterai 5 Volt/70Ah berjenis Lithium, box panel dan tiang peyangga setinggi 5,5 meter. Sistem ini menghasilnya daya maksimal sebesar 400 Watt dan cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik lampu LED DC 30 Watt.

Abstract

Kesehatan masyarakat perlu diperhatikan karena dapat menciptakan kemampuan hidup sehat bagi setiap penduduk yang merupakan tujuan dari pembangunan kesehatan yang merupakan bagian dari pembangunan sumber daya manusia. Penyakit pegal pada otot, nyeri otot, atau kejang, dan kekakuan bahu atau sendi merupakan penyakit yang sering dialami oleh sebagian besar masyarakat. Untuk meredakan penyakit tersebut, masyarakat terkadang datang ketempat pembangunan kesehatan seperti puskesmas untuk melakukan terapi. Beberapa puskesmas telah memiliki alat terapi tersebut. Akan tetapi, ada beberapa puskesmas yang tidak memiliki karena alat tersebut sulit dibeli. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan ini dengan membuat alat terapi inframerah yang kemudian diterapkan di Puskesmas Kasihan 1. Dengan program ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat hidup sehat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi dan menyusun database dusun Dungsuru yang terintegrasi dan mudah digunakan, dan (2) menyusun dokumen profil desa yang update dan bisa digunakan untuk dasar perencanaan pembangunan desa Pilangrejo, Nglipar, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Adapun metode pencapaian tujuan tersebut dilakukan melalui pelatihan dengan metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan Focus Group Discussion di tingkat Desa. Hasi kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa program  berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Program ini mampu menghasilkan dokumen databse dusun dan profil desa Pilangrejo yang update dan bermanfaat untuk perencanaan pembangunan desa. Adapun kendala yang muncul pada tahap awal kegiatan dapat diatasi dengan metode pendampingan intensif. Adapun saran yang diajukan dari hasil program PPM ini, hendaknya pemerintah desa bisa mengupdate perkembangan database dan profil secara rutin seiring dinamika data yang terjadi.

Abstract

Flood is a natural disaster. It occurs in several cities in Indonesia. Floods caused by rivers that overflowed and then flooded residential areas. It comes mostly unexpectedly without early warning. It causes many losses, especially the loss of material, and health threats to surrounding communities. The advance of network technology can reduce the adverse effects of flooding by providing warning alarms and water level monitoring system in real-time that can be accessed via the web. Based on the problem, a monitoring system was designed to monitor water levels via a web that work in real time for 24 hours, and store water level data into the database. The use of this website requires an internet connection, so that internet services must be available.

Abstract

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) card technology is used for intelligent parking systems. Officers no longer need to record and check manually and repeatedly every vehicle that comes in and out with this system. The system has a weakness, namely if the RFId card is dropped or lost, the person who finds it can use the card. For the purpose of increasing security for users, one of the latest technologies is the use of facial recognition methods. The eigenface algorithm system is an algorithm used for face recognition. The algorithm is used as a training process for the previously inputted employee faces. The results of the training data are stored in a database which is then used as a key to recognize the face of the owner of the motorized vehicle who took the motorcycle. In the trial results of the data application, motorized vehicle owners enter when the facial recognition level is above 70%.

Abstract

The PE Goat Farm Complex, with an area of about 600 m2 located in Mertosutan Hamlet, Sidoluhur Village, Godean District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province, has a lighting system from a hybrid solar home panel system with solar panels as the main source and PLN as a backup source. The system for switching resources from solar panels to PLN sources or vice versa is carried out automatically with an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) circuit so that no human resources are needed for its operations. The performance of the solar home system is the most important element in the supply system, so it needs to be monitored regularly. This program aims to design a solar home system performance monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The method applied in this program is Design Improvement. The design of the system is made by adding a series of electrical components that are applied to the solar home system at the location. The power, current, voltage, and light intensity generated by the solar home system are sent to the application via the internet in real-time. The results of testing the implementation of an IoT-based monitoring system design can work optimally with a 100% success rate. The implication is that the use of a solar home system at the Marsudi Luhur Goat Farm Complex can be maintained for stability and sustainable performance through an IoT-based monitoring system that has been implemented.
