Abstract : This classroom action research is aimed at improve learning process and mathamatics learning outcomes by implementing Contextual Approach in Setting Cooperative Learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type. The research subjects are 36 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIID class of Junior High School 40 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. The research implemented in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, formative test was held. The data was collected by doing observation in teachers and students activities and formative test. The research shows if there is learning process improvement after the implementation Contextual Approach in Setting Cooperative Learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type. Most of the students participated actively and responsible in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Furthermore, the number of students passing passing Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) on base score, formative test I (first cycle), formative test II (second cycle) were respectively 33,3%, 44,4%, and 66,7%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that Contextual Approach in Setting Cooperative Learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type can improve mathematics learning process and learning outcomes of VIID class of Junior High School 40 Pekanbaru.

Abstract : This research aims to determine the influence of the implementation of problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning to the mathematical problem solving ability of students. This research was conducted in MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru on odd semester academic year 2016/2017. This is a pre-experimental research which using the Static-Group Comparison design. The population is all of students at grade VIII in MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. Samlples in the research involved two groups were selected by purposive sampling technic. Class VIII4 consisting 25 students as experimental class was implemented the problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperative learning and class VIII1 consisting 28 students as control class was implemented TPS structural approach of cooperative learning. The instrument of collecting data in this research is initial ability test and mathematical problem solving ability test. This research shows that average value of mathematical problem solving ability in the experimental class is better than the control class. It can be conclude that the application of ptoblem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning positively affect the mathematical problem solving ability of students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru.

Abstract:This reseacrh based on the students math ability class X7 of SMAN 21 Siak Hulu under Minimum Mastery Criteria with a percentage of 19,44% and the learning process still teacher center. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to outcomes students by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together. The subject of the research is students of class X7 of SMAN 21 Siak Hulu in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. There are 36 students in the class, consisting 20 girls and 16 boys. The instrument of data collection on this research are observation sheets and math achievement tests. The observation sheets are analyze in qualitative descriptive way, while the math achievement tests are analyze in quantitative descriptive way. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action of the first cycle to the second cycle. Then the result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 19,44% to 63,9% on the first daily test and 72,2% on the second daily test. From the results of this study concluded that Cooperative Learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together can improve the math achievement of students at class X7 of SMAN 21 Siak Hulu in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. Abstract: This research is a pre-experimental research with the static groupcomparison study design, that aims to determine whether the application of problemsolvingstrategy in mathematics learning positively affect on mathematical problemsolving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaru school year2015/2016. This research involved experimental and control classes that consists of 24students and 20 students. The test score of students’s mathematical problem solvingability is the data that used to test hypothesis of the research. Based on the test score,obtained the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class was 3,40 and the average value of mathematical problem solvingability of students in control class was 2,16. From the Mann-Withney test, obtained thesignificance is 0,001 (less than ߙ = 0,05), it is mean that ܪ଴ has rejected and ܪଵ hasaccepted. The average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class is higher than the average value of test mathematical problemsolving ability of students in control class, it can be conclude that the application ofproblem-solving strategy in mathematics learning positively affects the mathematicalproblem solving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaruschool year 2015/2016.Keywords: Problem-Solving Strategy, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, Pre-experimentalResearch2

Abstract : This research aims by the students’math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru, there are 9 students’ achieving passing grade for attitude aspect and for aspects of knowledge and skills 7 students’ or 35% on the main discussion about lines and angels. So there are 11 students who don’t achieve passing grade for attitude aspect and 13 students for aspects of knowledge and skills, it means that there are some students who don’t achieve passing grade (KKM ) from school. This research is aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru in rectangular and triangle, through the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Think Pair Square. The subject are 20 students from class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru consist of 12 male and 8 famale students with the heterogenous level. The collecting of the data instruments are observation and math achivement test. The research finding is that there is students’ achievement that can be seen from the percentage of students’ achive passing grade (KKM) for attitude aspect with average is about 55%. The percentage of the score increase about 70% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 85% at the second daily test. for aspects of knowledge with average is about 35%. The percentage of the score increase about 45% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 70% at the second daily test. And for skills aspects with average is about 35%. The percentage of the score increase about 55% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 85% at the second daily test Based on the previous result at can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model of structural approach Think Pair Square to improve students’ math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru of rectangular and triangle on main topic of second semester 2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Structural Approach of Think Pair Square, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of problem solving strategy in mathematics learning to the mathematical problem solving ability of students. This study was conducted in SMP Negeri 26 Pekanbaru on odd semester academic year 2015/2016. This is a pre-experimental study which using the static-group comparison design. The population is all of students at grade IX in SMP Negeri 26 Pekanbaru and the number of sample in this study is 75 students. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling and random sampling tehnique, so that class IX.4 consisting of 36 students as control class and class IX.6 consisting 39 students as experimental class. The experimental class was implemented the problem solving strategy in mathematics learning, meanwhile the control class was implemented conventional learning. The data in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data consisting of observation result, meanwhile the quantitative data consisting of posttest. The data was collected by using observation, test and documentation tehnique. The result showed that the problem solving strategy in mathematics learning influences the mathematical problem solving ability of students at class IX in SMP Negeri 26 Pekanbaru. Abstract: This research based on the students’mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa who haven’t reached passing grade on main topic about Phytagoras. One of the factors to improve students’mathematics achievement is improve learning process, so reacherch try to improve the process by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning on cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray.The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa through the implentation Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS).The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation, attitude assessment sheet, skill assessment sheet and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative,and for students’test by using descriptiveand quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement for attitude competence from the based-score with the percentage 41,67% to 58,30% on the first cycle and 87,50% on the second cycle. For knowledge competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 29,17% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. And for skills competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 12,50% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray could improve students’ mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa in the second semester academic years2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ Mathematics Achievement, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Cooperative Learning Two Stay Two Stray, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: This research aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes students by applying of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Subjects of this research are class VII.3 students at SMP Negeri 39 Pekanbaru of 2016/2017, total number of participant are 40 whose academic achievement are heterogen. The research implemented in which consisted of phases. which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. By the end of a cycle formative test was held. Data collected through observation and test in the form of formative test. Observation is used to collect teacher and student activities during learning process, test is used to collect mathematic outcomes and will given in form formative test. The research result from the observation form shows that teacher and student activity are good after the treatment implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as discuss, presented LKS, responded to presenter group, and gave the learning conclusion. The students also tried to solve the quiz from teacher in a great manner.The number of students whose achieved basic score of KKM, formative test I (first cycle), and formativetest II (second cycle) are 16 students (40%), 19 students (47.5%) and 25 students (62,5%). This research shows that implying Student Teams Achievement Division type of cooperative model can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning evaluation for VII.3 Students at SMP Negeri 39 Pekanbaru first semester of 2016/2017 to the basic competence Do the operation on the algebra and Solve the linear equations of one variable.

Abstract: This research based of the low result of students’ mathematics achievement in the class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. It can be seen from 32 students in the class, only 20 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 62,5% on the material Linear Equations and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru through the implentation of the strategy index card match on cooperative learning model of STAD. The subject of the research are 32 students from class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru, consist of 10 male and 22 famale students with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative, and for students’ test by using descriptive and quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement from the based-score with the percentage 62,5% to 68,75% on the first test and 84,375% on the second test. Based on the finding can be concluded the implentation of the strategy index card match on cooperative learning model of STAD to improve students’ mathematics achievement at class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ Mathematics Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model STAD, Strategy Index Card Match, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: This research is a pre-experimental research with the static group comparison study design, that aims to determine whether the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving of students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly problem solving strategy in cooperative learning NHT better than students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly cooperative learning NHT. This research involved experimental and control classes that consists of 33 students and 28 students. The test score of student’s mathematical problem solving ability is the data that used to test hypothesis of the research. Based on the test score, obtained the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students in experimental class was 81 and the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students in control class was 43. And from the Independent Sample Test, obtained tarithmetic > ttable (9,45 > 2,002). It is mean that H0 has rejected and H1 has accepted. The average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students in experimental class is higher than the average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students in control class.. It can be conclude that the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving of students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly problem solving strategy in cooperative learning NHT better than students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly cooperative learning NHT school year 2016/2017.Keywords: Problem Solving Strategy, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, Pre-experimental Research
