Abstract

SDN 5 Pedungan and Harapan School are schools in South Denpasar District which already have School Safety Zone (SSZ) facilities. The two schools are traversed by a fairly high traffic volume due to the large number of trip generation centers located along the road such as traders, education, and industry. This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of SSZ in both schools through which the traffic volume is quite high compared to other schools. The field survey was carried out by recording the vehicle travel time when crossing ZoSS at a distance of 100 m. The effectiveness level of SSZ was analyzed using Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation in 2006, 2014, and 2018. The results of the analysis showed that the application of SSZ in South Denpasar District was not effective, the average percentage of vehicles compliant when crossing SSZ for SDN 5 Pedungan was 42.67%, which means that SSZ is quite effective and Hope School is 32.34% which means SSZ is less effective.

Abstract

As many as 33% of vehicle ownership in Bali Province in 2019 was in Denpasar City, coupled with the passing of vehicles from outside the city to work and recreation to burden the road network in Denpasar City. This causes problems in the transportation system that affects the performance of the road network, especially the performance of signalized intersection in Denpasar City. The performance of the signalized intersection is affected by the capacity of the approach where one of the factors that affect it is saturation flow. This study aims to find out the comparison of saturation flow in protected and opposed approach between the IHCM and Time Slice Method. The saturation flow result in the protected approach in Simpang Subita based on IHCM is 3,629 pcu/green hours greater than 71.18% compared to the Time Slice Method which is 2,120 pcu/green hours, while the saturation flow result in the opposed approach in Simpang Waribang based on IHCM is 1,857 pcu/green hour smaller than 37.49% compared to the Time Slice Method which is 2,971 pcu/green hour.

Abstract

The Dental and Oral Hospital (DOH) of Udayana is the hospital owned by Udayana University which is located at the Udayana Jimbaran Campus. The DOH of Udayana can be categorized as a new hospital because the construction of this hospital is still in the non-finishing structure stage, so it doesn’t have parking facilities. In this study, planning of the parking layout for Udayana DOH was carried out to get an optimal parking design in terms of parking capacity, vehicle type, and parking space needs based on land availability. The number of parking space units was determined based on the number of beds that follow the provisions in the Regulation of the Directorate General of Land Transportation No. 272/HK.105/DRJD/1996, while the percentage of vehicle type composition was analyzed through a survey comparison and interviews at DOH of Saraswati Denpasar. The survey comparison result depicts that the percentage of vehicle types parked for motorcycles and cars is 92.45% and 7.55%, respectively. The number of parking space units required based on the number of beds is 104 units, so the composition of the number of parking spaces for motorcycles and cars is 96 and 8, respectively.

Abstract

Penggunaan moda transportasi sepeda motor di Kabupaten Badung mempunyai populasi tertinggi dibandingkan dengan moda transportasi lainnya. Kemacetan di Jalan Raya Kota Badung merupakan akibat dari laju pertumbuhan sepeda motor. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa di dalam buku Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 yang digunakan untuk menilai kinerja lalu lintas di Indonesia secara menyeluruh masih menggunakan ekuivalensi mobil penumpang sebagai dasar. Berdasarkan konteks tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian mengenai analisis ekuivalensi sepeda motor menggunakan metode regresi linier berbasis kecepatan dan membandingkan hasilnya dengan ekuivalensi mobil penumpang pada buku Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 yang dilakukan saat kondisi pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat berlangsung, khususnya di Jalan Raya Canggu, Jalan Raya Kerobokan, dan Jalan Raya Padang Luwih. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, yaitu dengan cara menghitung ekuivalensi sepeda motor dengan analisis regresi. Adapun hasil dari analisis penelitian menerangkan bahwa ekuivalensi sepeda motor, kendaraan ringan, dan kendaraan berat Jalan Kerobokan berterut-turut sebesar 1.00, 8.36, dan 16.22. Nilai ekuivalensi di Jalan Raya Canggu untuk sepeda motor, kendaraan ringan, dan kendaraan berat adalah berturut-turut sebesar 1.00, 7.15, dan 15.28. Jalan Raya Padang Luwih didapat ekuivalensi sepeda motor sebesar 1.00, kendaraan ringan 3.98 dan kendaraan berat 14.53. Sedangkan, untuk hasil angka kinerja didapat pada Jalan Raya Canggu sebesar 9,059 ssm/jam dengan derajat kejenuhan sebesar 3.46. Pada Jalan Raya Kerobokan derajat kejenuhan sebesar 2.56 ssm/jam dengan arus lalu lintas 6,925 ssm/jam. Sedangkan data arus lalu lintas ruas Jalan Raya Padang Luwih sebesar 9,008 ssm/jam dengan derajat kejenuhan sebesar 2.93 ssm/jam.
