Abstract

This study aimed to describe leadership revitalization in designing educational management in the multicultural-based school. For this reason, this research used a qualitative design with a case-study approach conducted at SMA Selamat Pagi Indonesia, Batu, Indonesia. Data collection was done through documentation, interview, and observation techniques. The results showed that 1) SMA Selamat Pagi Indonesia was designed as a multicultural school or also referred to as “Mini Indonesia” since the recruitment of new students came from 19 provinces from all over Indonesia and consisted of followers of 6 major religions in Indonesia, and 2) The principal’s leadership based on multiculturalism is indicated by several policies such as planting tolerance to students, creating study groups / working with diverse students, moving class learning systems, and providing entrepreneurship laboratories such as retail business division, tour, and travel division, show division, marketing division, and hotel division. Based on these findings, it is recommended for the school principal to care for multicultural values in schools to prepare for a better and broad-minded future of the graduates about the concept and application of multicultural life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of technical information on stock returns partially. Risk and return are interrelated. The greater the return, the greater the risk obtained. However, if these risks are managed, the risks that will occur can be controlled properly. Several things need to be considered in making investment decisions, namely, by analyzing fundamental information and technical information, including inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, and their effect on stock returns. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods. This study indicates that inflation has a significant negative effect on stock returns, interest rates have no effect on stock returns, and the exchange rate has a significant negative effect on stock returns. Further researchers are expected to pay attention to the influence of other factors that can affect price movements and company stock returns.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze organizational commitment to empowerment and contribution to improving the performance members Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita in Surabaya. This study uses the free variables i.e. organizational commitment and empowerment, as well as a bound variable performance.This study included in this type of research surveys that are used for the purpose of explanation or confirmatory, or also called research for testing hypotheses to explain the influences between variables or causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing. A sample of these studies amounted to 150 respondents comprised the members of the Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita in Surabaya. Sampling techniques in the study was done by accidental sampling method. The data obtained through the distribution and collection of returned questionnaires and then analyzed using SPSS.A model of the relationships between the variables examined generating organizational commitment and empowerment that have important relationship against the performance members Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita in Surabaya. The results of this study also has important meanings especially for members Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita to the empowerment as a member of the cooperative organization and commitment Setia Bhakti Wanita to improve the members of Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita in Surabaya.

Abstract

The finance industry is increasingly promoting innovation as a means of growth. It is thought to have created advancements that make transactions easier for users through the mobile banking function. The customer's adoption is also aided by several internal elements at the customer's disposal. This is a quantitative study in Indonesia to determine the link between perceived helpful factors, perceived ease of use, attitude toward usage, and behavioural intention. The data analysis approach used in this study is SEM-PLS. For example, consumer attitude and behaviour, the attitude variable in mobile banking may streamline the transaction process, feels enjoyable, and is easy to use, whereas the online payment application feels simple and ensures its anonymity. Users will find it simple to use the program for online payments, transactions will be secure, and payments for online shops will be considerably more manageable.

Abstract

The purpose of the implementation of this community service activity is to provide an understanding of the financial management of BUMDes. The problem faced by partners is that bumdes financial management has not been properly managed, resulting in the optimal governance of BUMDes in the partner village. The un availability of accommodated resources in the village is one of the causes of the unsanying of local potential in partner villages and their surroundings. This method of community service implementation is carried out by providing training on the importance of accounting management as a form of business management accountability and providing assistance to partners in compiling financial statements in accordance with financial accounting standards (SAK). The result of this community service activity is that BUMDes managers are able to compile BUMDes financial statements in a simple way including cash statements, income statements, capital change reports and financial position statements. Although the results of financial reporting compiled by partners are still very simple, this reporting has been done with SAK and it is expected that in the future the management of the partner's financial system is well organized.

Abstract

Character education is an endeavor that helps help people understand, care about, and act on core ethical values. This study aims to describe the management of teaching tolerance values in elementary schools. The location of this research is SD Pembangunan Jaya 2 Sidoarjo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The result is that through social interaction, students learn to respect other religions so that students have a tolerant attitude. Schools give students the freedom to embrace their respective religions, and they understand the importance of tolerance for students of different ethnicities, races, ethnicities, and religions. Principals instill the values of tolerance by acting as managers, leaders, educators, administrators, and supervisors. Teachers instill values of tolerance through classroom learning, daily activities, examples, suggestions, habituation, and extracurricular activities. The resulting forms of tolerance include: recognizing the rights of everyone, respecting the beliefs of others, do not impose religion on others, living in harmony and peace among human beings, having the spirit of the Pancasila philosophy, and help each other. The findings of this study can be used as input for effective teaching and learning activities in multicultural-based schools. Multicultural-based schools require special attention from the principal because they are prone to conflict. Schools create a conducive climate in transforming the values of tolerance in multicultural-based elementary schools.

Abstract

Globalization has a big impact on the business world. One of the spearheads that must be owned by a company is qualified and capable human resources in their fields. One effort to improve the quality of human resources is to improve work efficiency and effectiveness so that employee performance increases, where performance is a function of motivation and ability (Gomes, 2000). Through the fulfillment of abilities and motivations that are believed to improve employee performance, in this case Lavalette Hospital and Malang Islamic Hospital employees. This study uses explanatory research with a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection. The data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results of inferential analysis indicate that the variables of existence needs, relationship needs and needs to develop, technical abilities and behavioral abilities partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Variable technical ability and behavioral ability partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on employee work performance. Thus, the company must be able to maintain and improve motivation and ability of employees, especially for the needs of relationships and behavioral abilities because it has a dominant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research is important for the achievement of the college plan because at PGRI University Adi Buana Surabaya is also developing student cooperatives and employee cooperatives so that business sustainability occurs that can educate employees and students to get to know cooperatives and entrepreneurship. This study aims to test the influence of intellectual capital on emotional intelligence through organizational stressors as an intervening variable for cooperative actors in Surabaya. This study analyzes how intellectual capital plays a role in optimizing organizational stressors and emotional intelligence and how organizational stressors play a role in optimizing the emotional intelligence of cooperative actors in Surabaya. Some variables are analyzed as factors that affect emotional intelligence, namely intellectual capital and organizational stressors. This study is a type of explanatory study, reviewed from its analytical approach and classified into quantitative methods. The population of this study is all cooperative actors in Surabaya, and the sample is determined based on accidental techniques. Sampling in this study used Ferdinand's formula with the number of samples used as many as 156 people. The data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM (semantic equation modeling). This research is useful for the development of human resource management science. This study showed that intellectual capital has a significant and positive effect on organizational stressors, and intellectual capital has a significant and positive effect on emotional intelligence. In contrast, organizational stressors have insignificant and negative effects on emotional intelligence. The Cooperative is expected to solve or fix the cooperative actors' organizational stressors to solve the cooperative actor's problems.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the relationship between the thematic choices of event management in an effort to create consumer experience as a form of event differentiation strategy. The variety of event themes at custom cultural events in Indonesia, represented by Indonesian Custom Show (ICS), Kustomfest and House of Customland activities, as research sites from August to November 2022, demonstrates the differentiation of event design in creating unique customer satisfaction. The thematic differences of the event are the main concern in this study as the implementation of a differentiation strategy. A descriptive qualitative research method was chosen to describe the thematic relations of the event with the implementation of a differentiation strategy through interviews, observation and document review. The results of the study show that the thematic variety of events greatly determines the differentiation strategy in event design. An important contribution from this research can be used as a reference for event organizers' managerial policies to design events, sponsorship decisions to carry out partnership strategies, and consumer decisions to process purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the contribution of capital assistance, promotional strategies, and organizational skills to micro-businesses performance in the new normal era. This research is applied to micro-enterprises in Surabaya that must face the environmental conditions after the Covid-19 Pandemic, namely the new normal where there are changes in behavior by the community and micro-businesses related to the pandemic that has occurred, starting new businesses with various uncertainties, high-intensity competition. The Surabaya city government has used different methods to overcome the micro-enterprise downturn by providing trading opportunities and holding grand events to promote products and provide financial assistance. The population of this research is micro-entrepreneurs in Surabaya, totaling 112 people. The survey method is used to retrieve the necessary data from the sample. Testing with multiple linear regression shows the contribution of the variable capital assistance, promotion strategy, and organizational ability to business performance shows that micro-business performance is influenced by capital assistance, promotion strategy, and organizational capacity. The capital assistance obtained is used to carry out product innovations, promotion innovations, distribution, and additional resources supported by organizational capabilities that can improve micro-business performance.
