Abstract

Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pengajaran reaksi redoks dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pengajaran reaksi redoks. Tahapan penelitian adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar melalui pengayaan materi Reaksi redoks, melakukan inovasi melalui integrasi kegiatan kontekstual, melakukan standarisasi, ujicoba bahan ajar hasil pengembangan pada sampel kecil, dan implementasi bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual yang standar, inovatif dan interaktif untuk pengajaran resksi redoks telah berhasil dikembangkan. Paket bahan ajar kontekstual mampu meningkatkan kegiatan belajar kimia sehingga penyampaian materi ajar dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, efisien dan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa. Bahan ajar hasil pengembangan mampu memotivasi mahasiswa belajar mandiri menggunakan berbagai sumber belajar  yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Bahan ajar dapat membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hubungan materi kuliah dengan kontekstual kehidupan, sehingga kesan pembelajaran lebih lama diingat oleh mahasiswa, dan pada akhirnya dapat meningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Abstract

Penelitian rancang bangun sensor kimia sebagai instrumen analisis dalam deteksi spektrofotometri untuk penentuan pengawet nitrit bertujuan untuk mendapatkan instrumen analisis yang memiliki daya analisis akurat, selektif, sensitif, cepat dan sederhana untuk penentuan pengawet nitrit. Penelitian dilakukan terdiri atas pembuatan matriks polityramin pada permukaan plastik transparan, mengimobilasi senyawa aktif asam sulfanilat di dalam polymer sehingga menjadi bahan aktif sensor, dan diintegrasikan pada detektor spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah awal pembuatan sensor kimia untuk penentuan senyawa nitrit telah berhasil dilakukan. Polityramin berbentuk polimer yang transparan dan dapat dipergunakan untuk mengikat senyawa aktif yang memberi respon pada nitrit diintegrasikan dengan deteksi spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Sensor kimia menunjukkan linearitas yang cukup baik, yaitu berada pada skala konsentrasi 0,1-10 ppm, dan batas deteksi berada pada 0,1 ppm nitrit.

Abstract

The development of chemical sensor for monitoring of food preservatives of bezoic acid in various types of beverages is explained. Thesensor was developed by the integration of spectrometric cell, UV detectorin UV-Vis spectrometric system. The sensor signal is obtained from themeasurement of bozoic acidic at il 229.65 nm. The chemical sensor give sensitive response to benzoic acid, where the detection linierity is liesbeween 0.05 - 40 ppm benzoic acid, slope slop 0.0613 au/ppm benzoicacid, and the detection limit is 0.01 ppm benzoic acid. The chemical sensorhas been applied for the determination of bezoic acid in real sample, wherethe concentration of benzoic acid in the bevereges are found in the range of 7 - 700 ppm benzoic acid. The measurements obtained with chemicalsensor are agree with that HPLC standard method (R2 = 0.932) ..

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the results of the analysis of chemistry teachingmaterials on the reaction rate material used in schools according to the BSNPstandard, (2) describe the feasibility (validity) of the integrated problem basedlearning module teaching materials on the reaction rate material based on theBSNP criteria (3 ) knowing student learning outcomes have increased after beinggiven teaching materials Integrated Problem Based Learning Module on thereaction rate material, (4) knowing students about teaching materials forintegrated problem based learning module on reaction rate materials that havebeen developed. This research uses the method (R&D) with the ADDIE modelcovering the stages (analysis, design, development, implementation andevaluation). The product developed was validated by 4 expert validatorsconsisting of 2 chemistry lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers. From the results ofhypothesis testing carried out produces tcount > ttable, which is 6.567 >1.0705618. The assessment of the presentation of the level of student interest inthe module that has been developed is 88.33 (very high).

Abstract

This research aims to (1) knowing the results of a chemical study on the action based reaction materials used at school by BSNP standards,(2) knowing that the modules on discovery learning on the action-based reaction rate matter are appropriate for media experts and materials experts,(3) knowing the results of student learning after being given the discovery learning module on reaction rate materials. (4) know students' responses to the discovery learning based modules on reaction rate materials. Research results from an average of 81% of those produced from teaching materials analysis have both the strenghts and deformityof content, language worthiness, presentation and feasibility of expertise. Average pretest class experiment in 57,25%. Whereas the average score of 83,5% experimental posttest class. N-gain values a normalized chemical student experiment class based on the percentage of that is 83,82%. Student response or satisfaction percentages of deveoloped modules are acquired on an averaged of 93%, which could be concluded that the developedment of the taught materials the discovery learning based modules on a action-based reaction rare matter is higher than the minimum criteria (KKM) set. T_count more that t_table (8,747 more that 1,685) and H0 is therefore denied and Ha received. Thus it may be concluded that the there is an impact on the development of taught materials the discovery learning based modules on action on reaction materials.

Abstract

This research includes development research to produce online learning integrates media of Adobe Flash media and the Articulate Story Line and instruments to measure student HOTS in the General Chemistry study. The development model used refers to the ADDIE development model. The result of this research is that the online learning prototype integrated with Adobe Flash and Articulate Story Line and HOTS instruments is valid and effective. Validity is fulfilled qualitatively by the validators. Effectiveness is fulfilled based on the implementation of learning in an integrated media network that students can access online and proven by the increase in students' ability to complete HOTS instruments with the results of t-test analysis of 26.607 and p = 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out whether the chemistry teaching materials used in high school on thermochemistry materials have been project-based, 2) find out whether the thermochemistry learning modules developed have met project-based studies, 3) find out whether the thermochemistry teaching materials developed have met the module requirements, 4) find out whether the chemistry learning module developed on thermochemical material is in accordance with the criteria set by the BSNP, and 5) find out how students respond to aspects of the appearance, material, and benefits of project-based thermochemical modules. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The sample set in this research is 1) Chemistry Lecturer at State University of Medan as many as 3 people, 2) Chemistry teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan as many as 3 people, and 3) Class XI science students at SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan in 1 class with 20 students. person. The results of the analysis of teaching materials in schools show that books A and C are not based on Project Based Learning with a value of 1.44. Meanwhile book B deserves to be a Project Based Learning book with a value of 2.66. The results of the validation (syntax) of the PjBL model in the module obtained a content aspect score of 3.12 with appropriate criteria. In terms of the activity aspect, it has a score of 3.30, the condition aspect has a score of 3.50, and the outcome aspect has a score of 3.50 and the criteria are very feasible. The results of the BSNP standardization obtained a content feasibility value of 2.98 with appropriate criteria; and presentation feasibility 3.36; chart feasibility 3.33; the feasibility of the language is 3.36 with very feasible criteria so that the score of the four aspects of eligibility is 3.26 with very feasible criteria. It can be concluded that the developed module is suitable for use as teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) obtain high school-based chemical teaching material products based on salt hydrolysis materials that are in accordance with BSNP standards (2) find out whether the learning outcomes of students taught using innovative teaching materials are higher than the learning outcomes taught without the use of innovative teaching materials .The feasibility of the contents 3.63, the feasibility of 3.58 languages, the feasibility of presenting 3.56, and the feasibility of graphics 3.72, average pre-test score ofn 3 3, 2 5 and the average post-test score was 79.63. Hypothesis testing firstly conducted a normality test that is equal to 9.49 <11.07 in the experimental class 9.64 <11.07 in the normally distributed control class, the results of the analysis of the normality test in the control and experimental class amounted to 1.15569 <1.582 namely data on both classes are normal, the results of the hypothesis test that is the right hand side test, the table is obtained with α = 0.05 and db = n-1 = 40-1 = 39 which is 1.6671 and t arithmetic = 2.20192 means the increase in learning outcomes taught using innovative teaching materials is greater than using regular teaching materials
