Abstract

The three-dimensional linear log model is an equation in the form of a model in statistics that is used to describe whether there is a relationship between two or more variables and the pattern of their relationship at the same time to find out which cells cause dependencies. The number of variables discussed in this study was three variables. After the variables are investigated, the formation of a log-linear model becomes important because not all the model factor interactions that exist in the complete model are significant in the resulting model. This study aims to perform linear log modelling to obtain a suitable final model, using the Forward method for case examples of qualitative data. From the examples of cases that have been worked on, it is known that the Forward method is the best model building method because this method is used more as a process of adding one by one the interaction between factors in the model to evaluate the fit of a model. This will provide an alternative choice in determining the best model after going through the fittest for each model that is formed.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Matematika merupakan salah satu mata kuliah pilihan yang wajib diambil oleh mahasiswa yang baru masuk pada awal semester. Hal tersebut dikarenakan ilmu matematika memiliki peranan penting untuk dipahami. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum memahami mata kuliah ini. Banyak mahasiswa yang mengeluh dan sulit memahami topik yang sedang dipelajari. Tentu hal ini menjadi masalah serius jika tidak segera diatasi. Dilihat dari permasalahan tersebut, peneliti selaku dosen perlu melakukan perbaikan dalam hal metode pembelajaran untuk semua kelas yang diampu. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada interaksi yang signifikan antara perbaikan metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan di kelas dalam pengaruhnya terhadap hasil tes berupa peningkatan skor statistik dan probabilitas mahasiswa di kelas. Metode penelitian menggunakan prinsip analisis Two Way Anova. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap tiga puluh sampel mahasiswa yang diambil dari berbagai kelas, diketahui bahwa terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara peningkatan metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan di dalam kelas dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002. Dengan kata lain, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik dalam proses pembelajaran, diperlukan suatu model yang dapat memudahkan mahasiswa untuk berinisiatif belajar untuk menciptakan kemauan bersama selama proses pembelajaran. Akibatnya, setiap model pembelajaran membutuhkan sistem manajemen dan lingkungan belajar yang berbeda yang berlaku untuk berbagai jadwal kelas.

Abstract

Almost all students certainly expect to get graduation and satisfactory results when Final Semester Examination results are announced. It is because Final Semester Examination is a measurement in order to map and see the ability of students after participating in the learning process within a certain period of time, by conducting tests through various tests. Apart from depending on each individual student, there are also several factors that affect graduation and obtaining good grades at Final Semester Examination, namely the number of study hours in a day and the acquisition of Mid Semester Examination score. Thus this study aims to find out how the influence of the number of study hours in a day and the results of the midterm exam has on the graduation of the final semester exam in pharmacy mathematics. The data analysis method used is the Binary Logistic Regression method. From the research, results it is known that the independent variables study hours in a day and the acquisition of Mid Semester Examination scores have a significant effect on graduation, which is equal to 59.5%.. In addition, it is also known that the more hours of study in a day and the higher the Mid Semester Examination score, the higher the chance of passing Final Semester Examination with satisfactory grades.
