Abstract

Program pengabdian ini di laksanakan di Desa Anca, yang difokuskan pada pengembangan produk unggulan daerah pada bidang wisata di Kabupaten Sigi. Kegiatan ini mengangkat potensi sumber daya alam dan budaya lokal sebagai sarana meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan warga. Keberadaan danau berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi destinasi wisata khususnya geowisata. Kendala yang dihadapi selama ini, pengelolaannya belum maksimal diakibatkan medan yang terlalu berat. Kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan meliputi pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang profesional, manajemen atraksi wisata. pengadaan penunjang aksesibilitas, pengadaan sarana akomodasi, penambahan aktivitas, perintisan kerjasama, promosi, peningkatan ekonomi berbasis geowisata dan diversifikasi pengolahan ikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini, bermitra dengan kelompok usaha Kalendu Kolenorasi. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi observasi, diskusi, operasional kerja, penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan secara langsung. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan mumpuni dalam bidang pariwisata dan pengolahan ikan berbagai panganan serta peningkatan promosi destinasi, mulai domestik hingga mancanegara. Kata kunci: Geowisata, Kearifan lokal, Diversifikasi, Peningkatan pendapatan ABSTRACT The community service program was held in Anca village focused on developing regional superior products in the tourism sector at Sigi district, Central Sulawesi. The activities supported the potential of local natural and cultural resources as the place increasing income and welfare of community. The existence of the lake has the potential to be developed into a tourist destination, especially geotourism. The obstacle faced including the management has not been optimal because the heavy accessibility. The activities have been carried out include the development of professional human resources, management of tourist attractions. procurement support for accessibility, provision of accommodation facilities, additional more activities, initiating cooperation, promotion, economic improvement based on geotourism and diversification of fish processing. This service activity is in partnership with the Kalendu Kolenorasi business group. The method applied includes observation, discussion, operational work, counseling, training and direct mentoring. The output target to be achieved is the availability of qualified human resources in the field of tourism and fish processing into various foods as well as increasing the promotion of destinations from domestic to the another country. Abstract

Ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap pupuk dan pestisida sintetis, apalagi di tengah pademi Covid-19, menyebabkan banyak petani di Desa Tulo tinggal pasrah dan tak mengurus lahannya, bahkan banyak beralih mencari pekerjaan lain di luar sektor pertanian. Permasalahannya adalah masyarakat di Desa tersebut, khususnya kelompok tani Siaga belum memanfaatkan dengan baik limbah pertanian yang cukup banyak tersedia di Desa Tulo menjadi pupuk organik disebabkan rendahnya keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah potensi lokal tersebut. Dengan demikian tujuan kegiatan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada petani dalam memanfaatkan limbah pertanian menjadi pupuk yang bernilai ekonomi dengan penambahan Trichoderma sebagai bioaktivator. Di tengah Pandemi Covid-19 petani juga diberikan pendidikan dan penyuluhan tentang protokol penanganan kesehatan Covid-19. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah berupa pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis serta pembuatan demplot untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membuat pupuk organik serta pembuatan formulasi Trichoderma. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kegiatan ini mendapat respon yang baik, terbukti dengan keaktifan mitra dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan PKM ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of social domographic factors with the behavior of farmers in applying pesticides to shallots in Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research uses quantitative methods using univariate analysis for frequency distribution and bivariate analysis (chi square) to determine the correlation between variables. Both use Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 20.0. Determination of the location of the study was conducted purposively based on previous observations. The area is a center of shallot and horticulture plants in Sigi Regency, namely; Oloboju Village and Bulupountu Village, Sigi Biromaru District. The results of the study concluded that the use of pesticides by shallot farmers was over intensity with the reason for maximum production results. Unwise behavior of farmers in controlling pests and diseases with the high use of pesticides in the field, shows that there is no relationship between age, education, experience and Integrated Pest controlling (IPC) training with the behavior of shallot farmers in applying pesticides.

Abstract

The purposes of this research the examine the effectiveness various concentrations neem leaf ekstract on the intensity of attack Liriomyza spp on shallot Lembah Palu variety . Field research was carried out in Guntarano Village, Tanantovea Subdistrict, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research conducted from February to April 2016 .The experiment was done using Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications, consists of six treatments, i.e. P0 : control (without aplication neem leaf ekstract); P1: neem leaf ekstract 10 gr /litre; P2 : neem leaf ekstract 20 gr / litre; P3 : neem leaf ekstract 30 gr / litre; P4 : neem leaf ekstract 40 gr / litre; P5 : neem leaf ekstract 50 gr / litre. To find out the effect of threatment, the analysis of variance, and the real influence is continued with the standard ά = 0.05 BNT test. The results showed that use of seed and leaf extracts of neem plant can control Liriomyza spp attack, only 3,04 percent of attack rate and shallot Lembah Palu variety productivity is 3,02/area.

Abstract

Biodiversity is an important part of the agricultural ecosystem (agroecosystem) and diversity is determined by the environment and the application of pesticides in the field. Research on the diversity of arthropods in shallot cultivation with different intensities of pesticide application aims to determine the types and populations of arthropods in shallot cultivation on land with different intensities of pesticide application. The research was conducted in the village of Soulowe, which is the center of shallot plants in Sigi Regency, with a massive and intensive application of pesticides, from December 2019 to March 2020. Sampling was carried out using absolute methods (direct observation) and relative methods (Pitffal Traf and Jaring Ayun). The results of the identification carried out in the Unisa and Untad Palu laboratories found that the diversity of arthropods in low-intensity areas of pesticide application was more than that of medium and high applications. There are 7 orders and 13 families, namely Oxyopidae, Grillotalpidae (Ordo Araneae), Scarabaeidae, Coccinellidae (Order Coleoptera), Forficuloidea (Order Dermaptera), Agromyzidae, Muscidae (Order Diptera), Formicidae, Apidae (Order of Hymenoptera), Noctuidae (Order of Hymenoptera) and Acrididae, Gryllidae andTotigonidae (Order Orthoptera). The level of diversity, evenness and family wealth as well as the abundance of arthropod individuals were higher in land with low pesticide application intensity than medium and high pesticide application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyeleksi dan mengidentifikasi cendawan endofit dari pertanaman organik bawang merah lokal Palu. Cendawan endofit diperoleh dari lahan organik tanaman bawang merah bagian rizosfer kedalaman 1-10 cm, dengan menggunakan metode diagonal sampling, sehingga ditemukan 10 titik pengambilan sampel. Isolat cendawan yang telah dimurnikan kemudian diidentifikasi secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Hasil seleksi dan identifikasi isolat diperoleh 12 isolat cendawan endofit dari pertanaman organik bawang merah lokal Palu. Tiga isolat cendawan endofit yang unidentified, dan 9 isolat cendawan endopit yakni; Penicilium sp,Trichoderma mf 1, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium sp, Trichoderma mf 2, Asperegillus flavus, Trichoderma mf 3, Fusarium sp, Trichoderma mf 4.

Abstract

Bakteri endofit memiliki kemampuan untuk hidup dan menginvasi jaringan tanaman serta mempunyai sifat antagonis terhadap patogen tanaman dengan berbagai mekanisme. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme dan persentase daya penghambatan oleh isolat bakteri endofit asal padi lokal Kamba secara in vitro dalam mengendalikan penyakit bercak ungu pada tanaman bawang merah. Pelaksanaan penelitian bertempat di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Alkhairaat Palu. Metode penelitian secara kualitatif dengan melakukan uji reaksi hipersensitivitas pada daun tembakau dan pengujian kemampuan isolat bakteri endofit dalam menghasilkan senyawa HCN. Secara kuantitatif dengan mengamati daya hambat dari isolat bakteri endofit terhadap cendawan pathogen uji. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan isolat bakteri endofit (RKGU4, RKGU7, RKGU8 dan RKGU15) dengan 3 ulangan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 2 isolat bakteri endofit yang memiliki kemampuan terbaik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan koloni cendawan Alternaria porri yakni RKGU8 dan RKGU15. Selain itu kedua isolat tidak berpotensi sebagai patogen berdasarkan uji reaksi hipersensitivitas serta memiliki kemampuan dalam memproduksi senyawa HCN. Isolat bakteri endofit memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai agens pengendali hayati yang ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of insecticide use and the intensity of pest leafminer fly attacks on local shallots in Palu in Guntarano Village. The research was conducted in Guntarano Village from April to July 2021. This study used a direct survey method using a structured questionnaire to obtain primary data by interviewing 10 respondent farmers. Respondents were selected based on their daily activities as local shallot farmers in Palu. Determination of respondents was carried out using a simple random sample method, while the observation of the percentage of Liriomyza sp pests was carried out at intervals of once every 7 days for 1 month. The results showed that the respondent farmers in cultivating shallots controlled herbivorous insects with the application of insecticides, with an interval of 1-3 times a week as many as 90% of respondent farmers had never participated in Integrated Pest Control (IPC) training activities. Farmers who used doses while the average percentage of Liriomyza, sp was the highest in the fourth week of 49.55%.

Abstract

Excessive use of pesticides confers several ecological and environmental consequences. In this research, we evaluated arthropod occurrence on shallot crops in Palu Valley, Central Sulawesi as an impact of pesticide application in different frequencies. Almost all farmers used synthetic pesticides for controlling pests and diseases where 46.7%, 43.3%, 10.0% of them applied in high, moderate, and low frequency, respectively. By comparing to the last application, the first reduced arthropod diversity index, evenness index, and abundance by 13.8%, 6.7%, and 70.6%, while the second by 7.3%, 2.3%, and 33.5%, respectively. Analysis of the dynamic abundance of pests and natural enemies in seven weeks observation indicated that the pests abundance at low and moderate levels was no different. Whereas predator abundance at low frequency was significantly different with moderate and high rate and between the last two not distinct and the presence of parasitoids was not observed at all, it means the natural enemies were susceptible to pesticides. These data showed the negative impact of pesticides application to arthropods including pests resistance and natural enemies lost; therefore it is necessary to minimize the use of pesticides and integrated pests.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) is in partnership with the Sukamaju Farmers Group, Bomba Village, Marawola District, Sigi Regency, approximately ± 12 km from Palu City. The main problems partners face in increasing rice production are the high cost of production to buy synthetic fertilizers and the attack of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT). This activity aims to increase the understanding and skills of farmers about Trichoderma biofertilizers and biopesticides as an alternative to reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides. Partner problems were overcome by several technological solutions with training methods and technical guidance, as well as making demonstration plots to improve skills in making Trichoderma formulations. Lectures, discussions, questions, and answers for basic materials on sustainable agriculture and pests and diseases of rice plants. This activity applies the culture of Trichoderma asperellum strain TR3 isolate, a local microbe found by Ratnawati (2019) on shallot plantations in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. --- Program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bermitra dengan Kelompok Tani Sukamaju Desa Bomba Kecamatan Marawola Kabupaten Sigi dengan jarak tempuh ± 12 km dari Kota Palu. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra dalam peningkatan produksi tanaman padi adalah mahalnya biaya produksi untuk membeli pupuk sintetis dan adanya serangan Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kecakapan petani tentang biofertilizer dan biopestisida Trichoderma sebagai alternatif mengurangi penggunaan pupuk sintetis dan pestisida kimia. Permasalahan mitra diatasi dengan beberapa pemecahan teknologi dengan metode penataran dan edukasi mengenai persiapan lahan sebagai demplot untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membuat formulasi Trichoderma. Ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab untuk materi dasar tentang pertanian berkelanjutan serta hama dan penyakit tanaman padi. Kegiatan ini merupakan penerapan mikroba lokal temuan Ratnawati (2019) hasil kultur isolat Trichoderma asperellum strain TR3 dari pertanaman bawang merah.
