Abstract

Health protocols help prevent the transmission of Corona Virus (COVID-19), but the culture of people's adherence to the Covid-19 health protocol in each region is uneven, which is due to the influence of local culture in various blood areas in Indonesia. This study is intended to describe the impact of a culture of adherence to health protocols during a pandemic on students in the Western Indonesia Region. The research approach is quantitative with the type of correlation research, through purposive random sampling, namely 268 students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University class of 2018 and 266 students of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University UHKBPNP class 2019, a total of 534 samples. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire questionnaire, the data analysis technique used the Kendall's Taub test. The results obtained a significance value of 0.018 <0.05, that there is a relationship between the cultural variables of adherence to health protocols. The correlation coefficient value is 0.554, that the level of relationship between the cultural variables of adherence to health protocols during the pandemic is strong. The direction of the relationship between variables has a positive value of 0.554. Shows the level of obedience culture experienced by students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education class 2018 at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University and students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education batch 2019 at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University based on health protocols.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kompetensi pedagogis adalah kompetensi yang dimiliki seorang guru dalam mengelola proses belajar siswa. Selain itu, kompetensi pedagogis juga ditunjukkan dalam memberikan bantuan, membimbing, dan memimpin siswa. Kompetensi pedagogis yang baik akan menghasilkan prestasi belajar siswa yang baik. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa kuat korelasi antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan prestasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan prestasi belajar siswa di siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Sampel diperoleh secara acak dengan lotere. Dalam mengumpulkan data, teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan pengujian korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pengujian korelasi Product Moment sebesar 0,596, yang disesuaikan dengan tabel interpretasi nilai r. Dengan demikian, nilai 0,596 dikategorikan ke dalam interval koefisien antara 0,40 hingga 0,599. Interval ini diartikan sebagai kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan bahwa sekolah harus meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru dan perlu kerja sama antara sekolah dan pemerintah untuk memilih guru yang berkualitas tinggi, mampu mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, memimpin , latih, nilai dan evaluasi siswa. Karena itu, upaya ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogis, Prestasi Belajar Siswa Abstract. Pedagogical competence is a competence a teacher has in managing students’ learning process. Besides, pedagogical competence is also indicated in giving help, guiding, and leading the students. A good pedagogical competence will result in students’good learning achievement. Furthermore, this researc haims to find out how strong the correlation between the students’ perception about pedagogical competence of civic education teachers and the students’ learning achievement. Additionally, it aims to find out the significant correlation between the students’ perception about pedagogical competence of civic education teachers and the students’ learning achievement at the tenth-grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1Banjarmasin. This research used quantitative approach with the sampling technique using table of Krejcie and Morgan. The sample was obtained randomly by lottery. Incollecting the data, techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The research findings were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and testing of Product Momentcorrelation. The result of this research shows that there is significant correlation between pedagogical competence of teachers and the students’ learning achievement. It is seen from the testing result of Product Moment correlation as much as 0,596, which was adjusted to table of r value interpretation. Thus, 0,596 value was categorized into coefficient interval between 0,40 to 0,599. This interval is interpreted as medium category. Based on the result of this research, it is suggested that the school should increase the teachers’ pedagogical competence and it needs cooperation between the school and the government in order toselect teachers whose high quality, are able to educate, teach, guide, lead, train, assess and evaluate the students. Therefore, this effort can increase the education quality inIndonesia.Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Students’ Learning                   Achievement

Abstract

Abstrak. Karakter demokratisasi dikembangkan dengan paradigma baru tentang keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, yang tidak hanya aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi mereka juga diberi kesempatan untuk menentukan kegiatan belajar yang akan mereka lakukan, bersama dengan guru-guru mereka yang memiliki semua bentuk-bentuk hubungan positif antara persepsi karakter dengan hasil belajar siswa. Prioritas pendidikan karakter yang tertanam pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar tercermin dalam proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru kewarganegaraan yang sangat mendukung pembentukan karakter demokrasi. Tujuan atau penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan karakter siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar; (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kewarganegaraan siswa SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar; dan (3) untuk mengetahui korelasional antara karakter demokrasi dan hasil belajar kewarganegaraan siswa SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 60orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) karakter demokrasi kewarganegaraan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar cukup baik, dan tinggi, di mana siswa menegakkan karakter demokrasi dengan baik dalam lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat;(2) hasil belajar kewarganegaraan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar cukup baik dengan rata-rata 75,98; dan (3) terdapat korelasional antara karakter demokrasi dan hasil belajar kewarganegaraan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar di mana berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh r hitung (0,396) r tabel (0,148). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa koefisien korelasional untuk 0,396 adalah signifikan, yang berarti ditemukan hubungan antara variabel X (karakter demokrasi) dan variabel Y (hasil belajar kewarganegaraan).Kata kunci: Relasi, Karakter Demokrasi, Kewarganegaraan,                     Hasil Belajar Abstract. The character of democratization was developed with a new paradigm of student involvement in the learning process, which is not only active in the learning process, but they are also given the opportunity to determine the learning activities they will do, together with their teachers who have all forms of positive relations between character perception with student learning outcomes. The priority of character education embedded in SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar is reflected in the learning process implemented by citizenship teachers who strongly support the formation of democratic character. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the character of Grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar; (2) to find out the results of citizenship learning at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar students; and (3) to find out the correlation between the character of democracy and the citizenship learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar students. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with the correlational method. The study population was all students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. The number of research samples is 60 people. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the democratic character of citizenship in class X of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar is quite good, and high, where students uphold the democratic character well in the school and community environment; (2) the citizenship learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar were quite good with an average of 75.98; and (3) there is a correlation between the character of democracy and citizenship learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar where based on the results of data processing r counts (0.396) r tables (0.148). So, it can be concluded that the correlational coefficient for 0.396 is significant, which means that the relationship between variable X (democratic character) and Y variable (citizenship learning outcomes) is found.Keywords: Relationships, Character of Democracy,                   Citizenship, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak. Salah satu komponen keberhasilan pembelajaran adalah penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai dengan karakteristik materi dan peserta didik serta kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan metode tersebut. Metode demonstrasi jarang digunakan oleh guru karena dianggap sulit dalam penerapannya, sehingga guru kebanyakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi. Oleh karena itu maka dilakukan penelitian untuk membandingkan hasil belajar dengan metode demonstrasi dan diskusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang membandingkan hasil belajar dengan metode demonstrasi dan metode diskusi dengan sampel 2 rombel di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental jenis post test equivalent group, yaitu desain dengan memberikan post test setelah kedua kelas diberi perlakuan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik yang berasal dari kelompok pembelajaran dengan metode demonstrasi rata-rata 84,5 dengan standar deviasi 8,39 dan kelompok peserta didik dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi rata-rata skor 59,73. Berdasarkan perhitungan,maka didapat hasil Thitung=35,89Ttabel= 2,001 (ɑ= 0,05) Oleh karena ThitungTtabelmaka hipotesis Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan  metode  diskusi   pada peserta didik. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan peserta didik yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan peserta didik yang menggunakan metode diskusi. Oleh karena itu disarankan bagi guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan untuk  dapat  menerapkan metode demonstrasi dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga diperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi.Kata Kunci: Metode Demonstrasi, Metode Diskusi, Hasil Belajar,                      Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Abstract. Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of Civics in class X-4 SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar, the subjects of this research are students of class X-4 with a total of 30 students. The results showed that student learning outcomes at the basic score of the average value of 48.61 increased by 16.95 points to 65.56 in the first cycle. In the second cycle the average score was 71.67 increase from the first cycle of 6.11 points. Classical completeness on a base score of 33% (13 students). In the first cycle test, the completeness increased to 72.5% (19 students). In the second cycle, classical completeness increased to 87.5% (25 students). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the student teams achievement division (STAD) type can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of Civics in class X-4 SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar

The correlation coefficient value is 0.554, that the level of relationship between the cultural variables of adherence to health protocols during the pandemic is strong. The direction of the relationship between variables has a positive value of 0.554. Shows the level of obedience culture experienced by students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education class 2018 at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University and students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education batch 2019 at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University based on health protocols.

Abstract

This study discusses the understanding and dissemination of legal awareness in society, especially criminal law in social life. The author believes that early prevention efforts to minimize unlawful acts are indispensable in every context of legal socialization events. By socializing the law, all citizens aim to create a just and prosperous, safe and prosperous society free from crime, security disturbances, and anarchy. The better the socialization of criminal law, the easier it will be for the community to be invited to achieve independence in order to increase legal awareness. This socialization is the responsibility of all parties, especially the academic community and state apparatus, to guide citizens, especially indigenous peoples in remote parts of the country, to produce peaceful, capable, disciplined, responsible, and courageous citizens who are honest in life. This study also hopes that narrative narratives and academic thoughts on criminal law in indigenous peoples become ceremonial events. Law must be a life-giving culture, especially for indigenous peoples, to be a good example for other communities. Condor has been studied in several legal publications and other sources we have reviewed to answer the most valid research questions. This is also to ensure the data review process runs smoothly and responsibly.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa HKBP Nommensen Universitas Pematangsiantar menggunakan dan menyebarluaskan karakter Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, karena Pancasila adalah dasar negara Indonesia. Indonesia sendiri merupakan negara multikultural, yang dibuktikan dengan keragaman ras, suku, agama dan budaya. Metode Kegiatan sosialisasi ini di lakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu adalah penyerahan materi, bagian dari sesi tanya jawab dengan mahasiswa, pembagian hadiah kepada mahasiswa. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah banyak adat istiadat yang diungkapkan dalam bahasa Pancasila, yaitu Bhineka Tunggal Ika, memiliki arti yang berbeda tetapi tetap sama. Pancasila sebagai dasar negara harus menjadi ruh budaya individu negara. Dengan mengajarkan karakter Pancasila sejak dini, Indonesia akan kuat dan fleksibel dalam menghadapi kesulitan. Oleh karena itu kesimpulan yang ditarik dan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah bahwa Pancasila ingin mencerminkan harkat dan martabat dunia yang dikenal agar dapat diwujudkan dalam kehidupan nyata. Semoga karakter Pancasila ini dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. This socialization activity aims to help HKBP Nommensen students at Pematangsiantar University use and disseminate the character of Pancasila in their daily lives because Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesian state. Indonesia is a multicultural country, as evidenced by the diversity of race, ethnicity, religion and culture. Methods: This socialization activity was carried out in three stages: submission of materials, part of a question and answer session with students, and distribution of prizes to students. The result of this socialization activity is that many customs expressed in the language of Pancasila, namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika, have different meanings but remain the same. As the basis of the state, Pancasila must be the individual state's cultural spirit. By teaching the character of Pancasila from an early age, Indonesia will be strong and flexible in facing difficulties. Therefore, the conclusion drawn from this socialization activity is that Pancasila wants to reflect the dignity of the known world so that it can be realized in real life. Hopefully, this Pancasila character can be applied in everyday life.
