Abstract

Tourism is one sector that plays a role in the development process in contributing to the region and society. One of the tourist destinations that are currently in great demand by tourists is the Komodo Island Tourism Destination, which is one of the mainstay of tourism potential in the city of Labuan Bajo. Komodo is one of the step animal species that still lives in this modern era and was chosen as one of the seven wonders of the world. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of Komodo Island Travel Destinations on several aspects of development in the city of Labuan Bajo. The research method is applied by applying quantitative descriptive, data collection techniques, including interviews, observation and documentation. In particular, this research was conducted in the city of Labuan Bajo with the active participation of 41 key informants. The results of the study revealed that the policy of the Office of Tourism and Culture in the city of Labuan Bajo was well run and quite successful, the Regional Original Income increased for 5 consecutive years and fulfilled the welfare of the communities around Komodo Island Tourism Destinations.

Abstract

Reform and regional autonomy are under way in the country and are expected to provide a more democratic life. One of them is the demands of the Regional People's Legislative Assembly (DPRD) to carry out its duties and functions in the regions, the wrong function of legislation, the formulation process of Regional Regulation (PERDA). The purpose of this study is intended to examine the role of the West Lombok Regional House of Representatives as one of the actors of Policy Formulation of PERDA. 3 of 2015 on General Guidelines of Gender Mainstreaming in Development in West Lombok Regency and the Factors Affecting it. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive approach, the data in this research are primary and secondary data in the form of observation, interview and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the role of West Lombok Regency DPRD as one of the actors of PERDA Formulation is seen from its role in the drafting of Local Regulation, where most have been run in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), following the procedure of drafting of Raperda and preparing Raperda. Other actors involved are Family Planning and Women Empowerment (BKBPP). Supporting Factors are in the form of budget as a form of support from the budget of APBD for the field of women's empowerment, facilities and infrastructure formation Raperda Initiative DPRD. While the inhibiting factor in the formation of Raperda Initiative is Human Resources (HR) Experts remain that are not yet available in the formulation of Raperda on Gender Mainstreaming.

Abstract

This study was carried out at the Babakan Health Center to understand the introduction of the Youth Care Health Service innovation program and encourage and inhibit factors that enhance the quality of public services. With a sample of 40 respondents accessing services at the Babakan Health Center, the study approach used was qualitative. The method used for data collection was a questionnaire and interview. Although the data analysis approach used was qualitative analysis for interview data and quantitative percentage lines from the questionnaire.  This study's findings showed that % felt happy and very satisfied with the health facilities component  the implementation of the Youth Care Health Service program on the level of quality of public services. Then for the indicator of health workers hitting 57,50 % feeling happy and very satisfied. The adolescent variable hits 57,50  % feel satisfied and satisfied, network variables hit 65,00 percent feel satisfied and very satisfied, and eventually,  75,00 % feel satisfied and very satisfied with the health management variable. Overall, 65,00 % of the 5 study variables are in the satisfied and very satisfied band. Meanwhile, supporting factors include the availability of qualified workers with qualifications and competencies in their fields, the availability of air-conditioned examination room facilities, and the involvement and participation of young people in high-level activities. Moreover, the inhibiting factors include incomplete health facilities such as special counseling rooms for adolescents and inadequate room capacity, support from the community for this program is still low, and lack of cooperation in several work areas. Based on the research results, there are suggestions given that it is necessary to increase socialization to a broader extent. It is required to increase funding, especially supporting facilities and infrastructure and increasing training to existing health workers

Abstract

Tourism is one of the most reliable sectors in national development, tourism also plays a role in creating employment and reducing unemployment. This is evidenced by the contribution of the tourism sector to the workforce in 2015 12.1 million people or 10.6% of the total national workforce, to support the tourism sector there is a need for community participation and professionalism from the government in providing tourism development policies in accordance with government regulations and provisions in the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning tourism. Departing from these conditions, the researchers tried to analyze the efforts of the Bima District Government in involving the community to build Lariti tourism in the Sape District of Bima Regency. The purpose of this study, to find out the efforts of the Bima District Government in involving the community to develop Lariti tourism, along with the factors that support and inhibit the Bima Regency Government in an effort to involve the community to develop Lariti tourism, the method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The results showed that the efforts of the Bima Regency Government in involving the community in developing Lariti tourism in Sape Subdistrict were positive, this shows that qualitatively the Bima Regency Government through the Bima Tourism and Culture Office involved the community actively in Lariti tourism development, besides behavior community and infrastructure Larites are a supporting factor and a barrier for the Bima District Government to involve the community in developing Lariti tourism in the Sape District of Bima Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kemacetan transportasi perkotaan yang diakibatkan tingginya jumlah kendaraan dari para pengguna alat transportasi itu sendiri. Menanggapi permasalahan tersebut Kementerian Perhubungan mencanangkan program pengembangan angkutan umum berbasis jalan salah satunya pengadaan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) untuk wilayah Kota Mataram dan sekitarnya. BRT Kota Mataram yang disebut juga Bus Trans Mataram merupakan salah satu jenis model angkutan umum yang efisien, aman, nyaman dan terjangkau dengan daya beli masyarakat. Bus Trans Mataram ini mulai beroperasi pada tanggal 21 November 2016 yang memiliki 4 rute. Pertama, di dalam kota, kedua dari pinggiran timur kota, ketiga dari pinggiran utara kota dan keempat, sayang-sayang hingga jalan Lingkar Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian Kualitatif merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan peristiwa maupun fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan dan menyajikan data secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta atau fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Teknik Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan Triangulasi sumber untuk mengecek keabsahan data penelitian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga komponen yang terdiri dari Reduksi data, Penyajian data, dan Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ini menunjukan bahwa implementasi kebijakan pengoperasian bus Trans Mataram Metro di Kota Mataram belum berjalan secara efektif. Hal ini berdasarkan dari kurangnya sosialisasi, tidak konsistennya implementor, tidak adanya ketegasan pemerintah daerah, tidak tersedianya anggaran operasional yang memadai dalam mengimplementasikan program, dibutuhkannya kontribusi dari Dishub Kota Mataram di bidang angkutan. Sedangkan untuk indikator, besarnya biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam pemenuhan biaya operasional, terjadi penurunan jumlah penumpang, dan masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian kualitaas pelayanan pada bus Trans Mataram Metro. Oleh karena harus adanya pembenahan dari lembaga-lembaga terkait mengenai pengoperasian Bus Trans Mataram Metro sehingga berjalan sesuai dengan rencana yang telah ditetapkan. Abstract This research is motivated by the problem of urban transportation congestion caused by the high number of vehicles of the users of the transportation itself. Responding to the problem, the Ministry of Transportation has launched a road-based public transportation development program, one of which is the provision of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) for the City of Mataram and surrounding areas. The Mataram City BRT, also called the Trans Mataram Bus, is one of the types of public transportation models that is efficient, safe, comfortable and affordable with people's purchasing power. The Trans Mataram Bus starts operating on November 21, 2016 which has 4 routes. First, in the city, second from the eastern suburbs, third from the northern suburbs of the city and fourth, unfortunately to the South Ring Road. This study uses a qualitative method. Qualitative research is research that aims to describe and describe events and phenomena that occur in the field and present data systematically, factually, and accurately about facts or phenomena that occur in the field. Data collection is done by Observation, Interview, and Documentation Techniques. Researchers use source triangulation to check the validity of research data. Data analysis in this study used three components consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of Trans Mataram Metro bus operating policies in Mataram City has not been effective. This is based on the lack of socialization, the inconsistency of the implementor, the lack of firmness of the local government, the unavailability of an adequate operational budget in implementing the program, the need for contributions from the Transportation Department of Mataram in the field of transportation. As for the indicators, the amount of costs needed to meet operational costs, a decrease in the number of passengers, and there are still mismatches of service quality on the Trans Mataram Metro bus. Therefore there must be improvements from relevant institutions regarding the operation of the Trans Mataram Metro Bus so that it runs according to the plan that has been set.

Abstract

Abstrak: Undang-undang Nomor 23 tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah telah memberikan berbagai perubahan kearah peningkatan kesejahteraan kepada masyarakat melalui pelayanan yang baik, serta kinerja yang maksimal secara langsung dan transparan kepada daerah, termasuk pelaksanaan UU tentang kebencanaan. Sudah sebulan berlalu sejak Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) mendeklarasikan wabah virus corona baru sebagai sebuah pandemik yang masuk kategori bencana non alam. Untuk itu, pemerintah daerah sampai pemerintah desa bisa bekerjasama dengan berbagai pihak termasuk kampus untuk ikut terlibat dalam penanganann wabah ini. Pendampingan bertujuan memberikan pemahaman terkait bencana, bencana non alam khususnya wabah virus corona dan peran pemerintah pada saat terjadi bencana. Metode yang digunakan dimana masyarakat di desa masih cenderung tidak peduli dengan yang namanya wabah diberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman. Di lanjutkan dengan saran dan kesempatan untuk diskusi, konsultasi kepada masyarakat dan pemerintah desa dan tokoh masyarakat, tokoh adat dan tokoh pemuda. Hasil kegiatan ini diperoleh adanya peningkatan pemahaman pada perwakilan masyarakat menjadi lebih percaya dan siap mengikuti anjuran pemerintah.Pendampingan ini masih pada tahap awal, dan perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan kerjasama dari berbagai pihak.Abstract:  Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government has provided various changes towards improving welfare for the community through good services, as well as maximum performance directly and transparently to the regions, including the implementation of the Law on Disasters. It has been a month since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the novel coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic that is categorized as a non-natural disaster. For this reason, local governments to village governments can cooperate with various parties including campuses to get involved in handling this outbreak. Assistance aims to provide understanding related to disasters, non-natural disasters, especially the corona virus outbreak and the role of the government in times of disasters. The method used where people in the village still tend to not care about the plague, given the knowledge and understanding. Followed by suggestions and opportunities for discussion, consultation with the community and village government and community leaders, traditional leaders and youth leaders. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in understanding that community representatives become more confident and ready to follow government recommendations. This assistance is still at an early stage, and needs to be carried out continuously with cooperation from various parties.

Abstract

The Mataram City Government issued a Mataram City Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 10 of 2008 concerning waste management which aims to create a physically and mentally healthy society. A clean environment makes people healthy. A clean environment is part of faith. This will have an impact on the socio-cultural life of the city of Mataram with the motto of progress and religion, one of which is through service, empowerment and the role of the community in upholding improvement, cleanliness, and beauty (K3). One of the villages that implemented the program was Jempong Baru village. In this study the author aims to determine how the community's satisfaction with the implementation of the program of cleanliness, beauty and whether (K3) in Jempong Baru Village. A derivative of the Mataram City Regional Regulation concerning the implementation of the cleanliness, beauty and beauty (K3) program in Jempong Baru Village. In this study the authors analyzed the data with a simple survey method, and analyzed descriptively. From the total population, 50 respondents were selected as community leaders, youth leaders, and Jempong Baru village officials. Data was collected by using interview/interview methods, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the community satisfaction survey on the implementation of the K3 program in the Jempong Baru sub-district came to the conclusion that they were "Satisfied" with the OSH program in the form of actions such as the program distributing pamphlets about the dangers of littering, working together to clean up trash in Ivory Coast, distributing plant seeds to residents, making chairs and tables from materials to beautify the environment, making Awik–Awik/ regulations prohibiting couples from bringing non-married couples to rented houses and distributing pamphlets on how to anticipate curanmor (motor theft) in order to maintain security. The problem is that there are people who don't really care about this program. It is hoped that in the future the community will know the importance of maintaining cleanliness and health (K3) and can apply it in daily life so that the city of Mataram is clean and religious

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the local economic empowerment based on halal principles in Sembalun, a village within the circumference of Rinjani, the newly-designated world geopark by UNESCO.  The descriptive qualitative method was chosen to analyze the data. The Participatory Rural Appraisal was used as an instrument to identify the expectations of the economy of local community. The study showed that local economic empowerment could be developed in several ways as follows: 1) Halal food initiative through increasing community participation and skills, involving institutions, providing intensive assistance, and increasing the role of community and institution in creating cooperation; 2) Worship facility improvement through increasing quality and maintenance of available worship facilities; 3) Services during Ramadan by improving the community and institutional capacity as well as delivering information to tourism operators and visitors; 4) Supporting facilities upgrading through increasing the numbers of water-friendly toilets both in quantity and quality; 5) Halal activities enrichment by eliminating non-halal activities and promote halal activities only; 6) Privacy leisure facilities and services provision through increasing institutional and community capacity in providing privacy leisure facilities and services as well as developing cooperation with stakeholders.

Abstract

This research was carried out using case studies at the Batuyang Village Office, Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency, aiming to determine the factors that can affect the quality of public services. This study attempted to collect primary data using an open direct questionnaire, to 60 respondents, to ask for their assessment regarding 6 factors/variables that affect the quality of public services at the Village Office. The data that was successfully collected, then processed and analyzed with a Likert Scale. The results of the study show that the factors that influence the quality of public services at the Village Office include: the work motivation of the bureaucracy and village apparatus, the ability of village apparatus, social supervision/control, organizational/apparatus behavior, communication and organizational restructuring. According to the respondent's assessment and Likert Scale analysis, the variable that contributes/influences more towards the quality of public services, namely the organizational/apparatus behavior variable is in the Good Category (2.8), then the Good contribution is also followed by the bureaucratic and apparatus work motivation variables as well as the communication variable (2.7), then the variable of the ability of the village apparatus and the variable of social supervision/control (2.6) on the quality of public services, only the organizational restructuring variable whose contribution is not good (2.5). Urgent efforts being made by the Village Government to improve the quality of public services, namely the provision of infrastructure facilities so as to better support public services, such as the availability of online service facilities, creating a Village Information System (SID) and it is time for all villages to have their own websites. Changes in services from a manual system to an online system must be followed by efforts to increase the professionalism of public service officials (village officials) and also need to be revitalized, restructured and deregulated in the field of public services.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Segala Anyar merupakan desa yang terletak di kawasan administratif Kecamatan Pujut, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Desa Segala Anyar memiliki luas 400 Ha dan terdapat 12 dusun didalamnya yakni Dusun Segale, Dusun Penaok, Dusun Penupi, Dusun Lamben, Dusun Dasan Duah, Dusun Kadek I, Dusun Kadek II, Dusun Anak Anjan, Dusun Karang Baru, Dusun Tenang, Dusun Tenang Baru dan Dusun Bolok. Potensi ekonomi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Segala Anyar berpusat pada komoditas pertanian, peternakan, perdagangan dan berbagai usaha lainnya untuk menunjang ekonomi masyarakat desa. Potensi ekonomi yang dimiliki desa biasanya digambarkan dalam sebuah peta potensi ekonomi. Peta potensi ekonomi adalah alat yang digunakan untuk memetakan potensi ekonomi yang tersedia di desa. Sebelumnya Desa Segala Anyar telah memiliki peta batas desa dan peta sosial tetapi belum terdapat peta potensi ekonomi. Tujuan dari pengabdian adalah supaya Desa Segala Anyar dapat terbantu dalam menentukan kebijakan pembangunan melalui adanya pemetaan potensi ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari persiapan, survey atau pengumpulan data, penyusunan peta potensi ekonomi, verifikasi peta, pencetakan peta dan serah terima peta kepada pemerintah desa. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini Desa Segala Anyar dapat mengetahui fokus tujuan dalam menentukan prioritas untuk pengembangan potensi ekonomi agar dapat berkembang pesat. Kata kunci: pemetaan; potensi ekonomi; desa segala anyar; pengabdian. ABSTRACTSegala Anyar Village is a village located in the administrative area of Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Segala Anyar village has an area of 400 hectares and there are 12 hamlets in it, namely Segale hamlet, Penaok hamlet, Penupi hamlet, Lamben hamlet, Dasan Duah hamlet, Kadek I hamlet, Kadek II hamlet, Anak Anjan hamlet, Karang Baru hamlet, Tenang hamlet, Tenang Baru and Bolok hamlet. The economic potential possessed by the village is centered on agricultural commodities, animal husbandry, trade and various other businesses to support the economy of the village community in it. The economic potential of the village is usually depicted in a map of economic potential. The economic potential map is a tool used to map the economic potential available in the village. Previously, Segala Anyar Village already had a village boundary map and social map, but there was no map of economic potential. The purpose of the service is so that the village can be helped in determining development policies through mapping economic potential. The methods used in service activities consist of preparation, survey or data collection, preparation of economic potential maps, map verification, map printing and map handover to the village government. Through this service activity, Segala Anyar village can find out the focus of goals in determining priorities for the development of economic potential so that it can develop rapidly. Keywords: mapping; economic potential; segala anyar village; dedication.
