Abstract

This studyexamines thechanges insocial and economic lifeof gold miners in Nagari Lubuk Sangir Tower District of South Solokof West Sumatra province. Socio-economic changes are directedtothe gold minersin theTower District of Sangir Lubuk Nagari. The purposeof this study is to explain what changes occurin the gold mining community in Nagari Lubuk Tower. Life ofgold miners in Nagari Lubuk Tower, the influence of gold mining on the social and economic life of gold miners in Nagari Lubuk Sangir Tower District of South Solok years 2007-2012. The method used in this research is the study of history , the phase - phase as follows : The first heuristic is collecting data from relevant sources . The second source of criticism .selecting a source in accordance with the needs of research . The third interpretation is the sorting step - out or distinguish the source of history .so that the granules found real information . Fourth historiography which wrote the studys findings into written form in accordance with the rules of scientific historical research .The results showed that work as gold miners have little impact on the socio-economic life of the miners , that rising incomes . In comparison to before the job up as a miner with rising incomes make their lives better .fulfillment of economic needs of miners . mining community can build their homes to be better than the previous , more miners are eager to send their children , they are to a higher level , such as junior high school, to college , and , increase their awareness of the importance of education for them. Conclusion villagers socio-economic changes Lubuk Tower gold miners in 2007 - 2012 experienced a significant change , it can be seen from various aspects , namely in terms of revenue earning gold miners are increasing and their lives change when viewed from the start of their childs education level of TK / RA to the university , from the aspects of life viewed from the residential buildings of the miners who have gold miners machine building them a permanent home and a minimalist

Abstract

The background of this study is to determine the constraints faced by students in the History of Education Program in schools implementing PPLK exercise. This study aims to gain an overview of the constraints History Education Program students in performing PPLK as it is. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were students of History Education Program is implementing PPLK period from July to December 2013 in the city of Padang Private SMP. The research location is SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang, SMP Pertiwi Siteba Padang, SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang, SMP Taman Siswa Padang, SMP Adabiah Padang dan SMP Semen Padang. Collecting data in this study is the instrument through research by distributing a questionnaire to students PPLK and interviews with officials in the teacher training school. Then the data is processed by an interactive analysis techniques. From the research findings that students PPLK find internal constraints such as: (1) constraints in planning teaching (RPP) is difficult to understand the steps to make the right lesson plan for lesson plans based on the curriculum of character, (2) constraints in the mastery of teaching materials is less IPS integrated understanding of the material, (3) constraints in the selection of instructional methods chosen method is a discrepancy with the condition of the students in the school training, (4) constraint in the selection of instructional media or the media is still a lack of infrastructure to support the PBM in school training, (5) constraints in classroom management is generally unruly students and chide when PBM. Later it was found also external constraints such as the lack of activity, attendance and student socialization PPLK with teachers and school assemblies. From this study it can be concluded that the student suffered History Education Program with internal constraints which are generally caused by a lack of understanding student learning in preparing the device, while the external constraints caused by a lack of ability PPLK students in adjusting to the school environment

Abstract

The main issue in this study is the change in system administration Nagari Aua Kuniang since validity UU No. 5 of 1979 in Sumatera Barat and outlines the proces of the system of government Chang to government Nagari village in 2001 with the No. 22 of 1999 on Regional Autonomy . But in this Paper discussed until in 2012 because this year Nagari Aua Kuniang has managed to become a good Nagari and each device Nagari has been carrying out its obligations in accordance with their respective duties . The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the form, function of the lowest government system, to see the shape of the system changes back to the system administration Nagari, as well as to look after the implementation of the government back to the Nagari.The study used the historical method which includes four stages include Heuristic, Critic, interpretation, and Historiography. First, heuristic are searching for and collecting data through primary and secondary sources were found through written sources and interviews. Second, the source of critic is to do research on data collected through internal and external critic is whether the data is the correct data and in accordance with the needs of research. Third, the data interpretation is activity undertaken to interpret the facts. Fourth, Historiography is stringing research results in the form of scientific papers (Thesis).The results showed that , with the change of government system to Nagari village has brought changes to the lives of village Aua Kuniang. Such changes can be seen both in government agencies, indigenous organizations, and social institutions. The implementation of village government system so that the underlying desire to return to the system of government in 2001 in Kenagarian Aua Kuniang constituted with the issuance of UU No.22 of 1999 on regional autonomy, the law has provided an opportunity for the region to progress the region. Implementation of the government after returning to Nagari in Aua Kuniang begins with the establishment of institutions that support the government  Nagari, including the executive (Wali Nagari), legislative (DPN), and judicative (KAN).

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to get the permanent purposes of learning Social studies, collect the learning material, and collect the method and tools will be used and also assessment of learning Social studies. The purposes of this research is  to describes the goals of learning process, collect the learning material, method and tools will be used and also assessment learning of Social studies by teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman Regency. This research is qualitative research that used natural setting as the proposes interpretation the phenomenon was happen and then doing by using all method. The location of this research is SMP Negeri 3 Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman Regency with the informans is teacher and head master. This research collects data by using observation technique, interrogations, and documentation. Analysis data in this research is reduction data, presentation data, and conclusions. Implementation of Social studies in SMP Negeri 3 Luhak Nan Duo runs well. Teachers should have implementation of learning process and should used the material of learning that was available in the schools and methods that will be used by teacher must have variation based on the material in learning process, then the teachers should additions tools based on the ability. The assessments always carry out by teachers at the beginning to reminding material last weeks. In other hands some teachers not used the material based from lesson plan, thus some teachers only used one method. It is not suitable with the lesson plan that has been written. So that, teachers must doing learning process based on lesson plan that have been written.

Abstract

This research aims to change the nature, thought patterns and attitudes in society to the desired state is a success. This can be seen in the efforts of Protestant Christian missionaries who came in Sagitsi who has managed to instill Protestant Christianity, cultivate awareness of education, modern medicine, regulation and encourage a better life than before.The method in this study is the method of historical research. This method consists of four subjects namely, (1) Heuristics of data collection from primary and secondary sources, which is done with the interview through books and relevant thesis that has to do with the writing. (2) the source of the criticism is done after the data collected to see whether the data is relevant to this paper or not. (3) Interpretation of explaining the data that was obtained to proceed to the stage of writing. (4) Historiography which is the stage of history that shaped the writing of scientific papers or thesis.From this study it can be seen that the people who used to Sagitsi largely adheres to the belief Sabulungan Arat, since the arrival of the German Missionary work closely with the Hurrians zending Protestant (HKBP) pioneered by Ps. August A. Lett and colleagues Kraimer, then the people berelih embraced Protestant Christianity. Although people who embraced Protestant Christianity only a small part, this is a starting point for the development of Protestant Christianity in sagitsi which covers an area of Mara, Monga, Nem-Nem Leleu and Sioban. The conclusion of this study is that previous Protestant Christianity through a difficult process, has grown in Sagitsi. It can be seen from the increase in the area that was once only gospel Pengkabaran Sipora island then extends into four regions. The existence public attitudes that have spontaneously  Sabulungan Arat, then embraced Protestant Christianity, and no longer feel afraid to curse the spirit Sabulungan because Almighty God that they worship is forgiving, pengasihi, and compassionate in accordance with the teachings taught in Religion Protestant.

Abstract

Principal issue in this thesis is written on Perception and Participation Fishermen Against Child education in Kenagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic situation as well as describe the Fishermen Community Perceptions and Fishermen Against Public Participation in Childrens Education Kenagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The study was conducted using Qualitative Research Methods, qualitative iterative model , using data analysis techniques in the acquisition of data obtained from observations, interviews and observations . After analyzing the collected source of data that includes Reduction and Display Data. After the verification and also draw conclusions and writing the results of the analysis in the form of thesis research. The results of this study reveal that :First : Public Perception Fishermen in Kenagarian Air Bangis towards childrens education is very diverse , but basically they are already aware of the importance of education for their children for the future . All that can be seen from the 47 respondents (94% of 50 respondents ) are already aware of the importance of an education. Second : Fishermen Community Participation in Education Against Kenagarian Air Bangis son. Have a pretty good role can be seen from the consciousness of those who always antusiasi provide motivation to always meet the needs of children such as school children or the needs of the average parent has met the educational needs of their children , take the time to help children with homework , ask the childs learning progress to the teacher or homeroom, knowing what subjects learned in school children, attending school committee meetings whenever held by the school, to contribute funds for the construction of educational facilities around the 39 respondents (78% of 50 respondents ) although it has not everything can be done , but at least their participation in their childrens education can already say either. Third : Socio-Economic Condition of Fishermen Society for childrens education in Kenagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat seen from the results that use only income Fishermen boats can still say economic conditions are still low on a day where their income on average Rp. 15,000 - Rp .50.000, in which fishermen use boats compare the average income as a fisherman around Rp.200 ,000 - Rp .500,000 once went overboard

Abstract

Generally, this research is purposed to see the history of “SOEARA BONDJOL” IN MEDAN : A Study Of Pers Community In East Sumatera 1919-1925. Moreover, the purpose of this research is to know history experiences (pre-education) which stimulate the appreance of Soeara Bondjol newspaper. It responded reader of society that time and it was exist among massa media in Medan.Furthermore, the research method is history method. Researcher used two kinds of data, they are primary and secondary data. The primary datawas Soeara Bondjol newspaper 1919-1925 edition and Besluit. Books, journals and magazines were the secondary data whch are used in this research. In interview study researcher did an interview with resources who were convenient for this researcher.The findings of this researchshown that Soeara Bondjol newspaper had hometown base (it was especially for minang people in Bondjol. It published in Medan by Setia Bondjol. Organization. Its development involved physical appearance and content. Indevelopmetal period, Soeara Bondjol was consisted of two periods, such as first periode (1919-1921) and movement period (1922-1925) the regrssionof this newspaper was caused by financial problem. Soeara Bondjol was one of unit actinity from Setia Bondjol communitywhich established in Medan, November 22th 1914. “Setia Bondjol” is a commonications media of Bondjol society. The purpose of theis newpaper is thevelopment for Bondjol, Negeri Nan Tigo Laras Rajo Nan Ampek Selo. It gave a news or informations about activity of Setia Bondjol community and its problems. There were so many changes and development in this period starting from beginning until the end. It can be proved by viewing its cover rubrication and its financial.

Abstract

This skripsi is a study Thematic Biography by choosing Syofiani Bustamam as the object of the research study. Syofiani Bustamam a dance educator and artist Minang years 1965-2013. This study aims to explain how Syofiani Bustamam role as an educator and artist Minang dance. research methods used in this research is the history of the stage heuristic method, source criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. Syofiani Bustamam became a lecturer in 1965-2013, it is not independent of achievement as an artist Syofiani Minang dance. as a lecturer Syofiani Bustamam have strong character and conscientious but remained friendly to the students. Bustamam Syofiani as an artist has also created 20 Minang dance and also have gained many-awards both national and Internasionl.

Abstract

  This research was based on the less efficiency of using media in learning process. There were students who do not quite pay attention to the material which was taught by the teacher, and many students came and out to the class while the learning process go on. Based on the problem, this research was focused on influence of Visual Audio Media used toward students learning achievement in history subject at VIII grade SMP Negeri 12 Padang. This research was aimed to find out the influence of Visual Audio Media use in history subject (IPS) learning achievement of students in VIII grade SMP N 12 Padang.Based on the problem, the type of this research was experiment research. The population of the research was the whole of students VII grade SMP N 12 Padang in semester 1 year 2013/2014. This research consisted of two sample classes, that were Experiment Class and Control Class by total sampling design.The findings if this research showed that there was influence of using learning method with Visual Audio Media toward students achievement at VIII grade SMP N 12 Padang. The learning achievement of Experiment class that used Visual Audio Method was higher than learning achievement of control class that used speech learning method (ceramah). The average result of class experiment was 85,54 and in the class control was 75,29. Based on the result, it showed that the average result of students in the class experiment was higher than in the control class.Based on the explanation above, it could be concluded that using Visual Audio Media in learning history (IPS) had influence toward learning achievement, which could be seen from the value of experiment class which higher than control class.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process is centered social studies teachers , students only listen to what diterang by teachers and less involved in the learning process . Besides the lack of variation in the use of learning methods that fun to be able to attract the attention of students to learn and can enable students to learn. This leads to low yields social studies class VIII SMP N 4 Sutera districts Pesisir Selatan Academic Year 2013/2014 . One strategy that can improve student learning outcomes is the adoption of a strategy Genius Learning . The purpose of this study was to compare the results with the application of social studies students Genius Learning Strategies better than the results of student learning using lecture learning in social studies class VIII SMP N 4 Sutera districts Pesisir Selatan  . This study is experimental . The study was conducted in SMP N 4 Sutera in August-September first half of the school year 2013/2014 . The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP 4 Sutera enrolled in the first semester of academic year 2013/2014 . Sampling was done by cluster sampling in order to obtain class VIII1 as the experimental class and the control class as a class VIII2 . The results showed that students learning outcomes IPS experimental class higher than the control class . Experimental class scored an average is 77.52 while the control class scored an average of 70.86 . hypothesis test with the t-test obtained thitung price ( 2.64 ) > t table ( 1.67 ) so that Ho refused and H1 accepted , this means the hypothesis is accepted . It can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of students who use the learning method Genius leraning the lecture method of teaching social studies in the eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Sutera districts Pesisir Selatan. Experimental class scored an average of 77.52 is higher than the results of grade social studies students gain control of the average value of 70.86 . Implementation of this strategy will help students to remember , increase understanding and provide new insights on the subject matter . So the application of learning methods Genius Learning in the learning process can improve learning outcomes .
