Abstract

AbstrakLatar Belakang : Pandemic corona virus disease bukan hanya berdampak pada dunia kesehatan dan  ekonomi, tetapi juga dirasakan oleh dunia pendidikan. Terhitung Maret 2020 hingga sekarang, kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka di sekolah resmi dihentikan sementara, diganti dengan School from Home (SFH). Madrasah  Tsanawiyah/sederajat  paling  banyak  mengikuti metode belajar di rumah. Ada 28.587.688 murid yang belajar jarak jaruh. Penutupan dan pembelajaran yang di alokasikan ke rumah menimbulkan dampak terhadap kecerdasan emosional peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi kecerdasan emosional peserta didik selama pembelajaran dirumah (School From Home). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik, dengan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 285 orang yang diambil menggunakan accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kecerdasan emosional disadur dari Siregar (2018) yakni berisi 30 item pernyataan dengan 24 pernyataan positif dan 6 pernyataan negatif menggunakan skala likert. Kuesioner terdiri atas komponen kecerdasan emosional yang meliputi kesadaran diri, pengaturan diri, motivasi, empati dan keterampilan sosial. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian responden (58,25%) memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang rendah, dengan nilai mean terendah terdapat pada komponen Motivasi. Kesimpulan: Hasil pengkategorisasian skor  kecerdasan  emosional secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa di MTsN 2 Bukittinggi didominasi  oleh  peserta didik  dengan kecerdasan  emosional  dengan kategori rendah, dimana pada kategori motivasi peserta didik itu sendiri. Hal ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pembelajaran dirumah, sehingga diharapkan pihak sekolah mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik walaupun belajar dari rumah masih tetap dilakukan pada kondisi pandemi ini.Kata kunci      : kecerdasan emosional, peserta didik, school from home

Abstract

Dewasa ini, dalam manajemen pelayanan diyakini bahwa peningkatan indikator mutu pelayanan merupakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas perawatan pasien di suatu rumah sakit Penerapan indikator mutu sudah berjalan, namun pencapainannya masih belum optimal, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menjabarkan indikator mutu pelayanan keperawatan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran manajemen dan indikator mutu keperawatan di ruang rawat inap. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik, dimana peneliti ingin menggambarkan hasil deskripsi manajemen mutu pelayanan keperawatan di rawat inap RSUD Solok Sumatera Barat, pada pertengahan April 2022. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 60 orang perawat yang mengisi kuesioner yang mendeskripsikan manajemen mutu pelayanan keperawatan yang dijalankan di rumah sakit. Data di analisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat gambaran pelaksanaan indikator mutu. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan indikator mutu pelayanan keperawatan, paling banyak pelaksanaannya dalam kategori baik (66.7%), dan masih ada pelaksanaan yang kurang baik yakni sebesar 33.3%. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa indikator mutu masih harus ditingkatkan dalam pencapaiannya. DIharapkan hal ini menjadi dasar kuat untuk mengatakan bahwa indikator mutu keperawatan menjadi hal yang mutlak harus ada dan diimplementasikan di rumah sakit. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Indikator Mutu, Keperawatan, Ruang Rawat Inap

Abstract

AbstrakKompetensi perseptor klinik dapat berupa kompetensi klinik maupun komptensi mengajar dalam preceptorship, dimana bertugas memperkuat profesionalisme mahasiswa dengan mendukung perkembangan profesi dan membantu mahasiswa mencapai target kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kompetensi perseptor dalam hal ini kompetensi klinik (clinical competence) dan Kompetensi Mengajar (Teaching skill) yang dinilai dari persepsi mahasiswa yang sedang menjalani praktek profesi ners di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 orang mahasiswa yang sedang menjalani praktek profesi ners. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tentang Kompetensi Preseptor Klinik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi klinik perawat sebagai perseptor klinik dalam kegiatan perseptorship (bimbingan) selama praktek profesi ners adalah baik (50%). Namun, kompetensi mengajar (teaching skill) perseptor klinik masih banyak yang menyatakan kurang baik (66.7%). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi klinik perseptor harus ditingkatkan dengan pengembangan kompetensi klinis para perseptor klinik. Diharapkan organisasi keperawatan memberi dukungan yang cukup dalam kegiatan perseptorship, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang representatif. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Perseptor Klinik, Perseptorship, Mahasiswa Ners

Abstract

ABSTRAKStress pada lansia adalah perasaan tertekan, cemas dan tegang yang diakibatkan oleh stressor berupa perubahan fisik, mental, dan sosial lansia yang mempengaruhi status emosional dan dapat menimbulkan penyakit. Pengelolaan stress lansia dapat dilakukan dengan Reminiscence Therapy yang menggunakan memori dan kenangan masa lalu untuk menjaga kesehatan lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Reminiscence Therapy terhadap stress pada lansia. Desain pada penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan rancangan penelitian one grup pre-test dan pos-test, dengan populasi 35 lansia, sampel terdiri dari 20 lansia yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS). Hasil analisis uji dependen sampel t-test dengan tingkat kemaknaan 95% menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari Reminiscence Therapy terhadap stress pada lansia, dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata tingkat stress sebelum intervensi 22.25 poin dan setelah dilakukan intervensi berubah menjadi 16,60 poin, berdasarkan analisis wilcoxon didapatkan p value 0,000. Kegiatan bercerita kenangan masa lalu dapat membantu lansia berinteraksi dan mengungkapkan perasaan kepada keluarga dan teman sehingga lansia mampu beradaptasi terhadap stress. Kata kunci : Lansia, stress, Reminiscence Therapy ABSTRACT Stress on elderly is feeling of distress anxious and straining caused by stressor of change in physical, mental, and social status of elderly condition. This will affects emotional and can make some disease for them. Management stress of elderly can be done by using Reminiscence Therapy. This therapy uses memory to maintain the health of elderly. The aims of this study wasto understand the influence of reminiscence therapy to the level of  stress in elderly. The design of this study was quasi-experiment using one group pre-test and pos-test, with a population of 35 elderly, sample consisting of 20 elderly who were selected by purposive sampling. The data collection was carried out by using depression anxiety and stress scale (DASS). The results of the analysis test using dependent sample t-test with a significant level by 95 % suggests that there was an influence of reminiscence therapy into the level of stress on elderly. It evidenced by the average value level of stress before intervention was 22.25 point and after conducted intervention turned into 16,60 point, based on analysis of the wilcoxon method, obtained p value 0,000. Storytelling memories and activities that tells the memories of the past can help elderly people to interact and express their feelings to family and friends so that the elderly are able to adapt to stress.  Keywords : Elderly, Stress, Reminiscence Therapy

Abstract

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common health problem in the community. One of the conditions that will appear in this phase of the disease is chronic pain. This study aims to describe the experiences of patients with COPD about their pain experiences and how they manage their pain. Methods: This study used descriptive qualitative research conducted through an interview process in one of the Jambi Provincial Hospitals, Indonesia. Sampling continued until saturation was reached, resulting in five participants who met the inclusion criteria. Data were collected by interview and analyzed through collaizi analysis. Results: The participants were all male and aged between 60-70 years old. The duration of COPD disease is between 5-20 years. The results of this study found 6 (six) main themes that describe the experience of pain in COPD patients, including experiences regarding the factors that cause pain, pain quality, pain location, pain scale, pain time and pain management. Conclusion: Chronic pain is common in patients with COPD and adversely affects quality of life and participation in daily physical activities. However, several ways of managing pain symptoms can be practiced by patients. The impact of effective pain management is that it will improve the quality of life in people with COPD. There is a need to develop pain management that can be recommended at any stage of patient care. Healthcare providers are advised to provide information to patients on how to manage pain so that they can improve their healthcare.Keywords: pain, COPD patients, qualitative

Abstract

Introduction: Patients with Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) cannot survive if they do not do hemodialysis. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the experience, the hope of patients with CRF who undergo hemodialysis in order to continue hemodialysis routinely and can improve the quality of their lives even though their lives depend on hemodialysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of life of patients with CRF in undergoing hemodialysis as an effort to improve the quality of life. Methods: This study was a quantitave study using analytic descriptive approach. There were 66 patients as sample. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic using World Health Organization Quality of Life Instruments (WHOQoL-Bref) as a quality of life questionnare. Results: This study shows the highest quality of life of research respondents undergoing hemodialysis in the high category (68.2%). This means the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis is good enough. Conclusions: A good quality of life means that the respondent feels satisfied and most of his daily needs can be met, which includes physical, psychological, patient social relations, and the patient's environment. Quality of life is influenced by the physical condition of the individual psychologically, the level of independence, and the relationship of the individual with the environment. Nurses are expected to be able to motivate patients undergoing hemodialysis in improving their quality of life.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is something not clear. Anxiety or uneasy is not specific and unknown to someone. In order to reduce anxiety in preoperative patients, an effective communication should be done, especially therapeutic communication. It needs serious attention from nurses because nurses are the closest and longest-standing health workers to patients. The effect of providing information about surgery preparation with a therapeutic communication approach on patients anxiety levels. One of the efforts that can reduce the level of patient anxiety is the therapeutic communication of nurses. Methods: The design was of this reasech was literature review. Articles were collected by using Google Scholar and Google from publication in 2010-2020.  Result: Based on the articles collected, the results found that that therapeutic communication can reduce patient anxiety. Nurses can apply therapeutic communication as an independent intervention as an effort to reduce patient anxiety.Keywords: Therapeutic Communication, Anxiety

Abstract

AbstractBackground: Complementary therapy has become an option for various diseases over the time. One kind of disease that can be given complementary intervention is anxiety. Nowadays, many young people suffer from anxiety disorders and they don't know how to deal with them properly. Make them less than optimal in achieving their life goals. The type of complementary therapy that can be used to reduce anxiety is meditation therapy. This survey aims to get an overview of the trends and knowledge of the younger generation about meditation in reducing excessive anxiety.Methods: This study uses an analytical descriptive design to see an overview of the anxiety level on adolescents and their knowledge about meditation in reducing anxiety disorders.Results: The results obtained from 129 respondents 85.3% of respondents said they had experienced excessive anxiety and as many as 63.6% of respondents said they had never done meditation.Conclusion: It can be said that the younger generation does not know about meditation and its benefits in reducing anxiety disorders. It is hoped that nurses can educate and introduce several therapies to reduce anxiety, including meditation therapy.
