Abstract

In practice, online learning faces several obstacles. that need to be considered and considered by paying attention to models, strategies, learning outcomes, the availability of facilities that support learning for both students and lecturers. This is the basis for research on student perceptions of the primary school teacher education study program (PGSD) STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin. The purpose of this study was to determine students' towards online learning applied at STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin. Researchers get data for this study from questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire contains student perceptions of online lectures which are divided into several indicators, namely accessibility, device ownership, ease of obtaining materials and doing assignments, understanding of teaching materials, learning methods, interactivity, independent learning and the environment. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale. The results of the questionnaire were re-confirmed through interviews with several students and lecturers. The results of this study indicate that 71% of students agree with online lectures conducted by STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin and 29% of students disagree with online lectures conducted by STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin. Students agree with the online learning system at SKIP PGRI Banjarmasin based on accessibility indicators (33%), device ownership (38%), monitoring ability (76%), ease of obtaining materials and doing assignments (67%), understanding of teaching materials (52%) , teaching methods (86%), interactivity (86%), independent learning (67%), environmental support (76%). In its implementation, there are several obstacles, especially in terms of accessibility and ownership of devices which often experience problems with internet access both in terms of quantity and quality.

Abstract

This descriptive quantitative study aims to determine the effect of speed-reading strategy for solving mathematics word problems in English on elementary school students’ learning outcomes and self-confidence. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2020/2021 school year in one of the private elementary schools in Banjarbaru city, with 15 of grade 3rd students as the subject. The quantitative data obtained from pretes and posttest scores based on students’ responses were analyzed using SPSS 26 through the paired sample test of Wilcoxon because the data is not normally distributed. The results obtained indicated that the speed-reading strategy used did not significantly increase the students’ pretest to posttest scores due to the lack of repetition and the way of presenting learning materials that was less attractive to students. However, the speed-reading strategy may can increase students’ self-confidence so that they are more confident in answering the word problems without the help for translation although more research is needed.

Abstract

“The Ron Clark” adalah suatu film yang bertemakan pendidikan, menceritakan tentangseorang guru yang membawa perubahan yang sangat besar terhadap anak didiknya. Cerita initerinsfirasi dari pengalaman nyata yang terjadi pada Ron Clark seorang guru yang sangat inovatif,kreatif cerdas , pantang menyerah, penyayang dan bersemangat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui unsur intrinsic yang terdapat pada film “ The Ron Clark”. Penelitian ini adalahpenelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengamati secara menyeluruh terhadap objek penelitianyaitu film “ The Ron Clark”. Data pada penelitian ini adalah film dengan focus penelitian padagambar Dari hasil penelitian yang didapat diharapkan film ini bisa dijadikan sebagai acuan ataucontoh kepada para guru karena pada film ini memberikan informasi yang sangat berharga, guruharus memiliki sifat yang bijaksana, kreatif, inovatif dan bagaimana cara menghadapi peserta didikyang bermacam-macam sifatnya.

Abstract

Abstract

The ability to read is a requirement that must be met, so the ability to read must be trained. However, in reality, the reading ability of students is still low. This study aims to determine the reading ability and the factors that influence the reading ability of the fifth grade students of SDN Inti Pengambangan 3 Banjarmasin. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were homeroom teachers and class Va students at SDN Inti Pengambangan 3 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is done by word reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that 1) students' reading ability was included in the good category when reading, but there were three students who were not fluent in reading. 2) factors that affect students' reading ability are intellectual factors, state factors, and factors from the child himself.

Abstract

Problematika guru dalam mengajar bahasa Arab di kelas V SD Islamic Bilingual Science Martapura. Dalam sebuah pembelajaran tentunya terdapat berbagai problematika dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar tersebut, tentunya dalam menerapkan pembelajaran bahasa asing yaitu bahasa Arab, yang tidak semudah diajarkan seperti layaknya bahasa Indonesia. Dalam mengajarkan bahasa Arab seorang guru tentunya memerlukan sebuah strategi maupun metode pembelajaran agar terciptanya pembelajaran yang menarik minat peserta didik dalam belajar bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui problematika guru dalam mengajar bahasa Arab di kelas V SD Islamic Bilingual Science Martapura. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini ditentukan dengan wawancara terhadap guru bahasa Arab kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data melaui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display data), dan verifikasi dan menyimpulkan hasil.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat problematika yang dialami oleh guru, yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) Problematika guru terhadap media pembelajaran kepada siswa. (2) Problematika bahan ajar bahasa Arab yang masih pada tahap perbaikan oleh kepala sekolah. (3) Problematika terhadap kurangnya aloksi waktu dalam belajar bahasa Arab (4) Problematika terhadap karakter sosial guru terhadap guru lain dan orang tua siswa. (5) Problematika terhadap metode pembelajaran terhadap siswa.
