Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis digital mampu mendukung kebutuhan perkuliahan daring sesuai dengan pembatasan kegiatan perkuliahan luring selama Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui penggunaan video animasi dalam MKPK Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi Sejarah Bahasa Indonesia dan Bagaimana Bahasa dapat Terbentuk. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas sesuai dengan Teori Kemmis & McTaggart.Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa perangkat pembelajaran, evaluasi hasil pembelajaran, dan instrumen pengumpulan data. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar soal untuk menguji pemahaman mahasiswa dan lembar observasi keaktifan mahasiswa. Teknik pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teori dan triangulasi sumber data. Diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa pembelajaran berbasis animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Peningkatan tersebut meliputi (1) peningkatan kriteria keaktifan mahasiswa, (2) Peningkatan persentase keaktifan mahasiswa, (3) Peningkatan nilai terendah, (4) Peningkatan nilai tertinggi, (5) Peningkatan nilai rata-rata, (6) Peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa yang tuntas belajar, (7) Penurunan jumlah mahasiswa yang belum tuntas belajar, (8) Persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat, dan (9) Kriteria ketuntasan belajar meningkat. Peningkatan hasil belajar ini menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran animasi dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi perkuliahan dibandingkan penggunaan sumber belajar berupa power point.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis proses berpikir peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 2 peserta didik terdiri dari 1 peserta didik laki-laki dan 1 peserta didik perempuan yang berusia 15 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal literasi matematis dan pedoman wawancara untuk mendukung kegiatan think aloud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis proses berpikir kedua subjek penelitian termasuk proses berpikir konseptual. Subjek penelitian menyatakan aspek dalam soal menggunakan bahasa mereka sendiri atau mengubah ke dalam bentuk kalimat matematika, menyatakan aspek yang ditanya di dalam soal menggunakan bahasa sendiri atau mengubah ke dalam kalimat matematika, menyusun rencana penyelesaian, menuliskan langkah dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan mampu memperbaiki kekeliruan jawaban. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang besar antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis. Types of Students' Thinking Processes in Solving Mathematical Literacy Questions  AbstractThis study aims to describe the types of students' thought processes in solving mathematical literacy problems based on gender. This research was conducted in class X. The subjects of this study were 2 students consisting of 1 male student and 1 female student who was 15 years old. The study was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The instrument used was a matter of mathematical literacy and interview guidelines to support think-aloud activities. The results showed that the types of thought processes of the two research subjects included conceptual thinking processes. Research subjects stated aspects of the problem using their language or changing it into mathematical sentences, stated aspects that were asked in the problem using their language or changed it into mathematical sentences, compiled a plan of completion, wrote the steps in solving the problem, and were able to correct the wrong answers. From the results of the study, it was found that there were no significant differences between men and women in solving mathematical literacy problems.

Abstract

UPN Veterans East Java as a State Defense Campus is a manifestation of the implementation of Article 27 paragraph 3 of the 1945 Constitution regarding the form of a state defense system to deal with non-military threats. One of the actual forms in general is the existence of Indonesian Language courses for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). The values ​​of nationalism can be traced to the five precepts contained in Pancasila, namely, Belief in One God, just and civilized humanity, Indonesian unity, democracy led by wisdom in representative deliberation, and social justice for all Indonesian people. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the application of practical methods. The practical method was chosen because it is in accordance with BIPA learning activities, namely coloring pictures related to state symbols, culture, customs, and traditions in Indonesia that contain nationalism values. The unit of research analysis is the values ​​of nationalism originating from Pancasila in BIPA learning for Yemeni students at UPNVJT. Triangulation of data sources was used as data validation. The research data analysis technique used was the interactive model of Miles and Huberman (1984). The results of the research related to the introduction of the values ​​of nationalism include the introduction of the 5 precepts in Pancasila, the introduction of symbols and symbols of Pancasila, the meaning of Pancasila and its relation to nationalism, as well as attitudes that reflect nationalism during Yemeni students study at UPN Veterans, East Java. Obtained results of research related to the stages in the practical method with coloring pictures media, namely, (1) Delivery of the initial objectives, (2) Explanation of practical material, (3) Demonstration of how to work, (4) Practice exercises/simulations, (5) Transfer training to test students' understanding regarding the introduction of nationalism values.

Abstract

Abstract – every year traffic accidents are increasing. The main factor causing an increase in traffic accidents is drivers who do not understand traffic signs and deliberately violate these rules. Therefore, to make it easier to understand traffic signs, socialization activities can be carried out from an early age so that they are able to develop a positive spirit when they are adults. One way that can help foster student activity and comfort in the teaching and learning process takes place is to deliver material for students aged 9-11 years by using traffic learning media in the form of an animation so that students will more easily understand what they are learning. This learning media is interactive so that it makes students more active and independent because there are also varios kinds of interesting media signs. In this case students continue to be enthusiastic and have a willingness to participate inlearning. In this research uses qualitative methods. The implementation of this community service program is carried out through four stages, namely 1) the preparation stage 2) the planning stage 3) the implementation stage 4) the program sustainability evaluation stage. And the activities carried out by the siwalanpanji public elementary school children are very useful, this is because the children understand the meaning of orders through signs and restrictions on the roads. Children’s understanding needs to be honed so that children know that everything that is outside has instructions and prohibitions. Abstract

Dunia pendidikan memegang berperan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Oleh karena itu Proses belajar tidak hanya berlaku kepada anak dalam kondisi normal saja, tetapi juga berlaku kepada anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus dalam menerima pembelajaran di sekolah formal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mendeskripsikan analisis membaca media mind mapping pada anak slow learner. Untuk menemukan strategi dalam analisis membaca media mind mapping pada anak slow learner. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa yang menderita slow learner yaitu anak yang mengalami gangguan pada proses belajarnya yang di tandai dengan kemampuan kognisi dibawah rata-rata, menulis, atau mengeja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Kebonagung I yang terletak di Jalan Raya Kebon Agung, Bogem Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian Pada saat memulai membaca media mind mapping anak mulai merasa kebingungan mengeja bacaan karena begitu banyak kata-kata yang memiliki lebih dari dua suku kata, Namun ketika membaca kata-kata yang hanya dari dua suku kata, anak masih belum bisa membacanya dengan baik.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers at SDN Masangan Wetan in grade IV, with the implementation of the independent curriculum and face-to-face learning starting, the learning model used for energy material is not suitable for students' needs, besides that the project-based learning model has never been implemented, so that in learning activities many students are rowdy and do not focus enough during teaching and learning activities, and learning is not conducive which causes learning outcomes to be less than optimal, a study was conducted to determine the effect of the project based learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV energy material elementary schools and student responses to learning using the project based learning model. This research is a quantitative study with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SDN Masangan Wetan, with a total of 40 grade IV elementary school. The results analysis of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV elementary school energy material. The average results of learning outcomes in the pretest experimental class were 68.6 and 95.25 posttest, which increased by 39%, thus the use of these models affected student learning outcomes. The results of the questionnaire obtained a percentage of 99% with very good criteria.

Abstract

The city of Surabaya is the center of the city in East Java and is a densely populated city. City buildings, housing, shops, high-rise buildings in villages become densely packed, giving rise to air pollution problems. With the problem of air pollution, it is necessary to carry out reforestation in Surabaya, one of which is in the Sidodadi area, Sidotopo District, Surabaya. In the Sidodadi area, there is still limited vacant land but it has not been utilized properly by local residents. Seeing the potential and existing problems, lecturers at STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo and UPN Veteran Surabaya carried out community service by empowering limited land using appropriate technology in the Sidodadi sub-district community, Surabaya. The target of this activity is the community around the sub-district. The method used in this service begins with counseling about the importance of greening in urban areas and socialization of hydroponic techniques and the benefits of family medicinal plants (TOGA), then continues with independent practice of planting TOGA using hydroponic techniques on limited empty land. The result of this service activity is that the community is enthusiastic in participating in activities both during counseling and independent practice. With this activity, the people of Sidodadi Surabaya gained knowledge about hydroponic technology and were able to utilize limited land so that the Sidodadi Surabaya area became greener.

Abstract

This community service was carried out to educate students and all parents that dental health is very important. Through this socialization, it is hoped that everyone is aware that dental health or dental care needs to be done. In particular, this socialization aims to provide insight and understanding to students and parents about dental health. This community service was carried out at SMA Al-Uswah Surabaya, with student participants and also competition participants. The obtaining Data using qualitative questionnaire. The results of this community service are that many of the students of IT Al-Uswah Surabaya High School have a very significant impact on awareness of maintaining dental health and they hope that this socialization event will become a routine agenda every year.
