Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning muatan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas II Tema 8 SDN 55/I Sridadi. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 55/I Sridadi dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 peserta didik. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Data dalam penlitian ini diperoleh dari tes online melalui google formulir, observasi, catatan harian serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus I pertemuan I adalah 46,67% dan 66,67. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus I pertemuan II adalah 66,67% dan 71,67. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus II pertemuan I adalah 60% dan 70. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus II pertemuan II adalah 73,33% dan nilai 76,67. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus III pertemuan I 80% dan 81,67. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal dan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus III pertemuan II adalah 93.33% dan 91,67.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' numeracy literacy in science subjects using the problem solving method. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in class V with a total of 4 male students and 6 female students. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in students' numeracy literacy in science subjects using the problem solving method from cycle I to cycle II. An increase in student numeracy literacy occurs because using problem solving methods or problem solving methods can make children active and enthusiastic in learning, not just monotonous and boring. Then the results of the assessment of science numeracy literacy learning increased. This can be seen from the number of students whose grades are above the minimum completeness criteria. The percentage of numeracy literacy skills in science subjects in cycle II increased from 43.75% in the inappropriate category to 81.25% in the appropriate category in the 2022/2023 school year.

Abstract

One of the subjects that most students experience problems and find it difficult to understand the concepts is mathematics. The task of a teacher is not only to transfer knowledge or convey learning knowledge to students in the classroom. The majority of students explained that subjects related to calculations were subjects that were difficult to understand. The purpose of this research was to assist teachers in improving students' abilities by using stem napier media. The Napier rod is a tool that can help find the product of a number. Napier rods can be used by students to assist in calculating multiplication and division operations. This calculation tool is designed to simplify heavy multiplication tasks. This multiplication bar or napier bar prop is used to calculate multiplication of whole numbers.
