Abstract

Teaching and learning is basically a process of educational interaction between teacher and student. Learning media become a very important part of the learning process. Therefore it is necessary to find an attractive learning media for students one of them is interactive learning media. Computer learning is one of the basic competency standards taught to students in vocational high schools. Based on observations at the Vocational High School Zainul Hasan Genggong Genggong with the speaker Mr. Mohammad Saleh, S.Kom as a teacher in the Vocational Basic Computer and Network Engineering, he said that the teacher still uses the delivery of material by whiteboard and also uses projector presentation aids using the projector power point slides especially the Vocational Basic Computer and Network Engineering lessons. Therefore it is necessary to find an attractive learning media for students one of them is interactive learning media. Interactive learning media has several elements such as text, audio, video and images, so that it is more interesting to students and students feel happy in learning compared to the way that is still very conventional. The research method used is research development with the stages of study of literature, observation, data collection, system analysis, system design, application implementation, application testing. For the implementation stage, an application has been made as a learning medium that can be accessed using an Android smartphone with a user friendly display, including pictures and videos. Based on the results of testing using blackbox testing and testing in various android platforms learning applications run well in accordance with the results expected by the user.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu (PLTB) merupakan energi alternatif yang terbarukan dengan memanfaatkan energi angin sebagai penggerak. PLTB ini menggunakan sistem monitoring berbasis IOT yang ditampilkan pada thingspeak menggunakan mikrokontroler nodemcu ESP32 sebagai penyimpanan data dari sensor dan mengirim data menggunakan jaringan internet. Tujuan memonitoring mempermudah pengawasan dan melihat arus, tegangan, dan RPM yang di hasilkan dari pengerakan angin pada kincir angin secara real time. Masing-masing pengukuran pada sensor dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali. Pengukuran menghasilkan nilai keakurasian dari pembacaan arus, tegangan dan RPM dengan mengunakan voltage sensor, sensor ACS712 dan IR sensor yang mempunyai nilai keakurasian 96,025% untuk voltage sensor, 94,52% sensor ACS712 dan 94,15 % IR sensor. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya sistem yang dapat memonitoring hasil keluaran generator dari sebuah PLTB berbasis IOT.

Abstract

Hasil evaluasi terhadap sistem pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) melalui Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) menyatakan bahwa skor kemampuan literasi sains siswa di Indonesia berada jauh di bawah skor literasi sains internasional selama mengikuti asesmen dari tahun 2006 – 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan literasi sains siswa melalui penerapan model group investigation (GI) berbantuan simulasi virtual PhET. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design dan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Data penelitian dihimpun melalui tes kemampuan literasi sains sebanyak 25 butir soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa aspek kemampuan literasi sains pada siswa kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol. N-Gain pada kedua kelas menunjukkan peningkatan, pada kelas eksperimen didapatkan N-Gain sebesar 57,36 termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 41,39 termasuk dalam kategori kurang efektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide assistance in making research proposals for scientific papers that will be included in the MYRES competition. The research proposals that have been collected will be selected based on several components, such as aspects of the originality of the idea, the novelty of the idea, the relevance of the theory and theoretical studies used, research methods, benefits for the wider community, as well as coherence and writing techniques. The method of implementing this community service activity is advocacy, which consists of the stages of planning, implementing and evaluating. There are three areas of research, namely the field of mathematical science and technology development; social and humanitarian spheres (social and humanities); and the field of religious science. Based on the evaluation of the implementation results, from 11 classes, 115 proposal titles were collected submitted by the group of students who were prospective participants in the competition and will be selected into the best 40 to be included in the competition. Furthermore, the team selected the proposal into 6 best titles that will be funded by madrasahs as a product of research including the best 2 each in each field of MYRES.

Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. This study aims to describe the scientific attitude of electrical engineering students in the Basic Electronics subject at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Panca Marga Probolinggo in the third semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample in this study was 40 students. In this study, the data was obtained by observing students in teaching and learning activities in the classroom directly. The indicators of the observation are curiosity, discovery and creativity, working in groups, critical thinking, and respect for facts/data. According to the results of this research, data obtained from each aspect namely, the highest average value of students' scientific attitude was cooperation attitude in 81.7% (very good category). The second was respect for facts/data in 79% (good category). Furthermore, the attitude of curiosity was the third in 74.3% (good category). The fourth was the attitude of discovery and creativity in 71.7% (good category). The attitude of critical thinking was in the fifth and the lowest average value of scientific attitude in 67.7% (enough category). The average percentage of students' scientific attitude analysis is 74.9% in the good category. So, it stated that the scientific attitude of electrical engineering students in the Basic Electronics subject at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Panca Marga Probolinggo in the third semester of the 2022/2023 academic year was quite good.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills aspect is essential to have so that someone could have good problem-solving skills to be able to compete in the working world and personal life in the future. This study aims to prove how effective the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is on students' creative thinking skills in Physics. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design, using two classes as research samples selected through purposive sampling, namely as many as 18 students. The research instrument used an observation sheet and a written test consisting of five items that include the indicators of creative thinking skills. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in the creative thinking skills aspect between students who did learning using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model and students who did learning through a scientific approach and the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model were in the fairly effective category to increase creative thinking skills, (2) the average score on the aspect of creative thinking skills in the experimental class is higher than the control class, (3) the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is significantly effective in increasing creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Termodinamika merupakan salah satu topik fisika yang bersifat abstrak dan mempelajari tentang keadaan makroskopis suatu materi yang dinyatakan melalui proses atau siklus dengan menggunakan konsep matematis. Kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari topik ini di antaranya adalah sulit dalam membuat grafik hubungan, sulit mengidentifikasi soal, dan sulit menjelaskan makna suatu gambar untuk itu dilakukan penelitian menggunakan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model discovery learning dengan teknik probing-prompting pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi termodinamika. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 yang keduanya berjumlah 38 orang. Satu kelompok siswa belajar menggunakan model discovery learning dengan teknik probing-prompting dan kelompok lainnya dengan model konvensional. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa diperoleh dari nilai pre-test dan post-test dari kedua kelompok dengan instrumen penelitian berupa 25 soal pilihan ganda yang dianalisis dengan SPSS 26. Hasil uji statistik menghasilkan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 68.32, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa model discovery learning dengan teknik probing-prompting cukup efektif digunakan secara signifikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi termodinamika.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan benda padat yang tidak terpakai, salah satu permasalahan serius bagi kita ialah peningkatan volume sampah berkaitan dengan pola hidup dan paradigma masyarakat tentang tempat sampah Dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap lingkungan, maka penulis merancang tempat sampah otomatis yang berfungsi mempermudah petugas kebersihan dalam hal pengankutan sampah dan dapat memonitoring dari jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi. Tempat sampah ini memanfaatkan konsep IOT yang ditampilkan pada aplikasi Blynk dengan mikrokontroler nodemcu ESP 32 sebagai data dari sensor dan mengirim data menggunakan jaringan internet. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor pir sebagai pendeteksi sumber inframerah atau gerakan tubuh, kemudian mengirim sinyal ke servo untuk segera membuka penutup sampah. Sensor berat berfungsi untuk membaca atau menimbang beban sampah yang masuk, dan sensor ultrasonik berfungsi sebagai pengukur ketinggian sampah, kemudian mengirim data ke aplikasi Blynk, lalu jika sampah sudah terdeteksi oleh sensor ultrasonik, maka akan ada notifikasi dari aplikasi Blynk berupa informasi bahwa tempat sampah sudah penuh.
