The design of this research used the correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this resrarch were 800 respondents with a sample of 89 community respondents in Tanggulkundung Village, Besuki, Tulungagung. The sampling technique used Purposive Random Sampling. Collecting data on the independent variable of public perception and the dependent variable on Covid-19 vaccination participation used a questionnaire. The results showed that most respondents (69.7%) had a positive perception and almost all respondents (94.4%) had a positive Covid-19 vaccination participation rate. The results of the statistical test of rho Spearman rank obtained p-value 0.002 (α<0.05), then H1 accepted with r = 0.324. The strength of this correlation is due to the intercorrelation between variables which are influenced by several factors, one of which is knowledge, so that additional information is needed from the Covid-19 vaccine to increase public knowledge so that it creates a positive perception. It is also recommended that the public can wisely digest the contents of any information circulating about the Covid-19 vaccine, it is hoped that the entire community can have the same perception and can increase participation in the Covid-19 vaccination.

Abstract

Sports activities have a risk of injury and are the most common cases. An ankle sprain is one of the acute injuries to the musculoskeletal system that is often experienced by teenagers when they play or during sports activities. Inappropriate early management of ankle sprain injuries disrupts ankle function and can delay recovery time. First aid for ankle sprains uses the Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation (RICE) method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the video animation demonstration educational method on first-aid ankle sprains in the soccer community in Mekikis Village. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design approach. The population of 70 respondents used purposive sampling with a sample size of 23 respondents. Performed for 30 minutes and two times the intervention. The results showed that the pre-test results of all respondents were in the less category. Most of the post-test results were in a good category. The results of data analysis used the Wilcoxon signed rank test P value 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an influence of educational video animation demonstration on the ability of first aid ankle sprains in the soccer community in Mekiki Village. The researcher believes that giving material using the EDEVIA method is effective in improving the psychomotor abilities of first-aid ankle sprains in members of the soccer community because it uses animated video demonstration media that uses two senses at once, namely hearing and sight, so it is easy to understand and more interesting. Factors that affect the increase in ability scores are age, education, experience, and information. It is better if members of the soccer community can apply independently if they encounter a case of an ankle sprain.

An accident or injury can become an emergency case and cause serious injury and even death if not handled properly. Improving the health status of the school community can be done through various activities, one of which is the provision of first aid training for sports injuries (sprain strain) using the RICE method. Students of SMAN I Papar are a group of teenagers in a community setting who have a risk of health problems due to dynamic activities. First aid for a sprain strain can be a treatment that can be given immediately. This is to prevent the injury from getting worse. One method that can be used to treat cases of sprain strain is RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate) by keeping the leg that has sprain strain still, compressing it with ice or cold water to relieve pain, Giving elastic bandages to prevent swelling and also This can be done by elevating the injured body part to increase blood flow. Community service activities in the form of Sports Injury First Aid Training (Sprain Strain) at PMR SMAN I Papar are very positive activities to be carried out in order to disseminate health knowledge so as to increase the knowledge and ability of each student in providing assistance for shoulder dislocations.
