Abstract

The purpose of Indonesian education is to develop capabilities and shape dignified national character and civilization. In line with the objectives of Indonesian education, education today must be able to produce highly competitive human resources. The reality at school shows that there is still a low percentage of students in achieving the Minimum Completion Criteria set. The low student learning outcomes are caused by several factors, among others, the students' initial knowledge is less attention, the lack of teachers explaining real problems in daily life, teachers rarely involve students actively in problem-solving, and inadequate school laboratory facilities. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of the use of the Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheet in the Problem Solving Learning Model on the competency of class X students at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The instrument for collecting data consists of written test sheets for knowledge competencies and performance assessment sheets for skills competencies. Data from the study were analyzed by analysis of two-way ANOVA. Based on data analysis it can be stated that the use of the Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheet in the Problem Solving learning model has had a significant influence on the competency of the knowledge and skills of class X students at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The conclusion of the results of this study is that there is a significant effect of the application of virtual laboratory Student Worksheet in the problem-solving learning model towards the competency of class X students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang.

Abstract

One of the most important learning tools in 2013 Curriculum to support Basic Competence skill is student’s worksheet But in reality, many schools that have not optimized the lab activities in school because there is no complete student’s worksheet in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. Therefore, the curriculum should be designed in accordance with the demands of 2013 Curriculum. In this case the designed curriculum is in the form of virtual laboratory that are accessed through ICT. The advantages of virtual laboratory-based student’s worksheet can improve the mastery of abstract physical concepts. The purpose of this research is to produce student’s worksheet design based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Research conducted including the type of Research and development (R & D) with the appropriate steps proposed by Sugiyono. The object of the research is student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT on wave matter, optics, and global warming of class XI SMA. Based on the analysis of data obtained obtained two research results. First, the design of student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory. Second, the result of validity for student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory with result of average validity value is 90,19. This shows that the student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT on the material of light and global warming is valid to be used in Physics learning in SMA XI class.

Abstract

Achieving the physics competence students in high school has not optimal. This case is caused by low students learning activities in the learning process, teachers rarely assosiate the material learned with the previous material so that students are less motivation to learned. For it used constructivism learning approach which are helped by virtual laboratory worksheet. The purpose of this reseach is to improve the physics competence achievement through the constructivism learning approach and virtual laboratory worksheet at grade XI of SMAN 15 Padang. This reseach used is a Quasi Experiment reseach with Factorial Design 2x2. The population this reseach was the students of grade XI MIA in SMAN 15 Padang which registered at he academic year of 2018/2019. The samples taken by using Purpose Sampling. The instruments are observation sheet for attitude competence, post-test for the knowledge competence, performance for skills competence. The data of attitude competence obtained were analyzed by using chart analysis and the data of the knowledge and skill competence were analysis by using two directions of variant. Based on the research conducted and data analysis. Fisrt, average attitude competence of the experiment class more than the control class. Second, knowledge and skill competence shows that the first working hypothesis is accepted while the second and third hypothesis is rejected. This shows that there are significant effect of applying the virtual laboratory worsheet in constructivism learning towards the students attitude, knowledge and skill of cmpetence at the 0,05 α.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the virtual laboratory LKS in the generative learning model on the achievement of the competency of students in class X senior high school Adabiah in Padang. The experimental class uses LKS virtual laboratories while the control class uses LKS provided by the school. These competencies include competency in attitude, knowledge and skills . Competence of attitude assessed continued for four indicators which tolerance, cooperation, honesty and discipline. Assessment of the attitude competence assessment using the observation sheet which was conducted for eight meetings. Based on the results of the analysis of the observation sheet, student’s attitudes showed that the attitude of the experimental class students was better than the control class, where the average score of the experimental class attitudes was 87,75 and the control class was 83,75. Knowledge competency seen from posttest and skill competency is known based on the results of performance assessment during practicum. Based on the results of the analysis it was stated that the relationship of achievement of knowledge competencies with the application of virtual laboratory LKS was strong with a series coefficient of 27,8%. Abstract

This research aim to generate a LKM in nuclear physics course. Laboratory activities is one form of learning that allows students to get learning experience through scientific proccess. Observations made show that in the physics department, in the nuclear physics course there is no laboratory activities yet because of the limitations of tools and materials. Virtual laboratpry activities is a recommended solution based on this situation and some related research before. As a form of learning, laboratory activities require teaching materials to support these activities. Research that conducted is a type of research Research and Development. The research procedure is carried out the ADDIE development research model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed product is validated by the physics lecturer as an expert, and practicality is done by the physics lecturer and student. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is found that the LKM to support the virtual lab activities on radioactive decay topic has a validity value of 92.31 with category very valid, practicality value by lecturers 86.87 with category very practical and practicality value by students 87.73 with category very practical.

Abstract

The improvement of the competence of physics students can be done with the use of student worksheets and usage models that can support learning activities of students. This research aims to look at the influence of the LKPD virtual laboratory against the competence of physics students in SMA Negeri 12 Padang. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment Research and Posttest Only Control Group Design. The learning model applied in this research is a cooperative type SFE. Assessment on this research in the form of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. After doing research, and analyzing data obtained that there are influences which means the use of a LKPD virtual laboratory against the competence of learners. There is a growing attitude competency on each of his encounters with the experimental class attitude competency value higher than the control class. Competency in the knowledge, the average value of experimental class of 78,82 and average value of control class 74,38. Similarly, on the competency of skills with an average value of experimental class 79,72 and average value of control class 75,41. The results of the analysis of the correlation of product moment at 67,86% of knowledge competence and the competency of skills at 58,62%.  Keywords : LKPD, Virtual Laboratory, Competency, Cooperative

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to produce a virtual laboratory based LKS through ICT on material there are digital technology, compton effect, and atomic nucleus by knowing the value of validity and practicality. Type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using research step by Sugiyono with research steps that is first to know potency and problem, gather information, design product, validate design, improve design, test product, product revision, trial usage product, product manufacture. The object of this research is LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Based on data analysis, there are three research results. First, the design of LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Second, the average validity value of experts with a value of 89.79 with criteria is very valid. Third, the average value of practicality by teachers with a value of 87.22 with very practical criteria. It can be concluded that the LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT is very valid and very practical for use in physics learning of SMA XII class.

Abstract

Improving the quality and competitiveness of Indonesia's resources has become a national commitment. One of the government's efforts to provide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in schools is expected to be able to support the improvement of school students' competency achievement. But in reality, in physics learning the achievement of all aspects of student competence is still not optimal. One of the main causes is the lack of optimal use of student worksheet and practical activities due to incomplete laboratory equipment. The solution that can be done is to do practicum virtually. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheets with Cooperative Type Group Investigation Learning Model on Class X Physics Learning Competencies. The population of this study was students of class X MIA SMA Adabiah Padang and two classes were selected by cluster random sampling technique. Students were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The assessment instrument used for attitude competency is the observation sheet, for knowledge competency is a multiple choice test, and for skills competency using performance sheets. The results of the attitude competency assessment in the form of descriptions through comparison charts between the two conditions tended to increase during the seven meetings for each aspect. Effects of the Virtual Laboratory worksheet on the achievement of students' Physics competencies in skills competency by 20.66% and knowledge competencies by 34.44%, others are influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect which means the use of virtual laboratory student worksheet on attaining competency attitudes, knowledge and skills of students in physics learning class SMA Adabiah Padang.

Abstract

Physics learning requires students to be able to carry out practical activities. Practical activities can be carried out if the practical tools and materials available. But in reality implementation of practicum is not optimal because lack of tools and materials. One solution that can be done is to do a virtual lab. In implementing virtual labs, a guide is needed in the form of a virtual lab worksheet. The application of virtual lab worksheets is integrated into critical thingking, creative, collaborative and communicative (4C) skills. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of virtual lab worksheets integrated 4C skills on student competence in static and dynamic fluid in class XI SHS 4 Padang. This research used Quasi Experiment Research with Posstest Only Control Group Design as research design. The population of this research is all of the second grade student of SHS 4 Padang in 2018/2019 year study. The result of this research showed there is a the difference of Mean between sample classes significantly. The correlation coefficient between the application of virtual lab worksheets to the achievement of attitude competence is 0,84,knowledge competencies is 0,86 and skills competence is 0,94. Coefficient determination of attitude competence is 70,56%, knowledge competence is 74%, and skills competence is 89%. This means that the application of virtual lab worksheets influences the achievement of competency in class XI high school students.

Abstract

One of the efforts to improve the quality of physics learning in grade XI SMAN 1 Pariaman is to use LKPD based on creative problem solving learning model. It is expected that this LKPD can contribute in the achievment of students physics competence. This study aims to see how much influence the use of LKPD based creative problem solving learning model of students of class XI SMAN 1 Pariaman. This research is classified into Pre-Experimental Design with One Shot Case Study design study. The populations of this research are students of class XI SMA N 1 Pariaman with regestered semester II year 2016/2017. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique followed by randomly select to determine the sample class. The data obtained in this research include physics competence data of learnes on attitude, knowledge, and skill aspect.Competence attitude is assessment observation sheet of student attitude. Assessment of knowledge competence is trough obtained written test in the form of multiple choice and assessment of learning process using steps of creative problem solving model.Skill competence is assessed trough performance technique with instrument in scoring rubric. The data of knowledge and skill competence are analyzed using simple linear regression test, linearity test and test of two variable relationship at real level 0,05. The result of the competence analysis of the attitude of the students shows the increase and decrease every week.Meanwhile, the result of knowledge and skills competence analysis shows that there is a significant influence on the use of LKPD based on creative problem solving model with a contribution of 17,64% for knowledge competence and 15,21% for skill competence.
