Abstract

Organizational culture is one of the factors that differentiate the performance results of a company. Organizational culture is proposed to employees as the way a job is done. National and social culture of a country influences organizational culture, based on the Hofstede’s and Trompeneaar’s model, there are dimensions of community culture that influence and shape the values and norms of a founder, employees, and customers of a company. Performance is the result of an employee's ability coupled with effort and support. The ability of an influential person is influenced by talent and interest, while effort is influenced by motivation, incentives and work patterns. The importance of organizational culture on employee performance has two research views. Some researchers consider that organizational culture has no significant effect on performance, while some studies prove that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture that is found in many Indonesians organizational culture is a hierarchical culture, which focuses on control and stability associated with the bureaucratic system. So that this becomes one of the factors, where organizational culture is not a determining factor for improving performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the knowledge of Islamic banking in the North Binjai community, especially in Kampung Nangka Village. As many as 60% of the population in the North Nangka Binjai sub-district have a livelihood as traders. The sample in this study was 30 people and used a non-probability sampling technique, namely the snow ball in determining the sample. Questionnaire Data analysis techniques use a single table. The results showed that banking knowledge of interest in saving in terms of demographic aspects. Based on the questionnaire that had been distributed, the responses given by 50 respondents indicated that they agreed with knowledge of Islamic banking products. As many as 28 people of the female sex with an age range of 21-25 years with recent education, mostly high school students, having an average income of 500,000-1,000,000 said they agreed that knowledge about Islamic bank products was easy to understand. This was mostly chosen by mothers who graduated from high school with an income of 500,000-1,000,000. then, most of the respondents agreed that knowledge about Islamic bank products was easy to understand so that they became interested in opening savings accounts in Islamic banks in the future._______________________________________________________Keywords: Islamic Banking, Interest in Saving, Social Demographics

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai komunikasi persuasif antara Guru dan Siswa di RA Tebuireng. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) bagaimana teknik komunikasi persuasif guru dalam pembentukkan karakter anak usia; 2) untuk mengetahui faktor yang menunjang dan menghambat proses komunikasi persuasif yang dilaksanakan oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini berjumlah 3 guru dan 1 kepala sekolah dengan 52 siswa terbagi dalam 3 kelas. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber data yaitu data primer, angket dan data hasil wawancara dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif guru dan cara guru dalam berkomunikasi terhadap anak cukup baik dan respon anak juga sudah cukup baik. Para guru menggunakan perkataan lemah-lembut, tutur kata yang baik dan benar, memberikan perhatian, keteladanan dan kebiasaan atau sikap yang baik dalam sehari-hari. Faktor-faktor yang menunjang ataupun menghambat proses komunikasi persuasif yang dilakukan guru dalam membentuk karakter anak usia dini yaitu berdasarkan faktor intern, instink, keluarga dan kebiasaan. faktor ekstern lingkungan pergaulan, lingkungan bermain anak dan lingkungan sekolah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze entrepreneurial intention that is influenced by self-efficacy owned by a person based on the theory proposed by Bandura.  Self-efficacy beliefs determine how people feel, think, motivate themselves and behave. Such beliefs produce diverse effects through four main processes namely cognitive, motivational, affective, and selection processes.  Self-efficacy can be developed by four main sources; Personal Experience, Role Model, Social Persuasion, and Psychological and Emotional Conditions Entrepreneurial intention has a relationship to a person's behavior.  Self-Efficacy is closely related to actions that are influenced by one's feelings, way of thinking, and motivation. Self-efficacy possessed by a person can determine how a person can take opportunities with the abilities possessed. The determining factors of success and failure and how a person can immediately rise from failure are also greatly influenced by the self-efficacy possessed. The determination of one's career and desire to succeed and succeed depends on the self-efficacy a person has, including the desire to start a business. The higher a person's self-efficacy, the higher the chance of the person being able to decide whether his desire will be successfully achieved or not based on the abilities possessed.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional social assistance provided to Very Poor Households (RTSM) in improving welfare through education and health. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of PKH on the welfare of the community in the Tegal Sari Mandala II village. The research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the impact of the implementation of PKH on the welfare of the people of Tegal Sari Mandala II Village is that before the existence of PKH it can be said that it is not yet prosperous and is still under welfare because it is still very vulnerable in the fields of education and health. Second, the extent to which the impact of PKH in Tegal Sari Mandala II has a very good impact and is very useful for the recipients. However, the people who have not been targeted are still classified as not prosperous. These three PKH goals have had a very good effect or impact on people's welfare and the target community for PKH assistance recipients come from underprivileged families. And the supporting factors for the implementation of PKH so that it has an impact on increasing family welfare, namely the role of PKH facilitators in providing assistance so that they can achieve the desired goals and the participation of beneficiary families can be seen from their active participation in the P2K2 program which aims to increase knowledge and awareness of beneficiary families.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Implementation of the Old Age Security Programme Policy by the Medan City Employment Social Security Administration Agency. The social security program is one of the responsibilities and obligations of the state to its people, which is adjusted to the condition of the state's financial capacity. Apart from that, the Social Security Program is also a form of social protection to ensure that all people can fulfill their basic needs and have a decent job. Old Age Security is a social security program that provides protection to participants against the risks that occur in old age, when the participant's productivity has decreased. However, in 2021 there is still a minimal level of participation in the North Sumatra region, especially in the informal sector. This research uses a qualitative method which is also called the naturalistic research method because the research is carried out in natural conditions (Natural Setting). In this study, the implementation of the Old Age Security Program policy by the Social Security Administrative Agency for Employment in Medan City was seen using Edward III's theory of communication, resources, dispositions, and bureaucratic structures that have been going well although not optimal, this can be seen from the uneven the communication carried out by the Medan City Employment BPJS to the community, especially for participation in the informal sector.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji tentang bagaimana kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam menanggulangi terjadinya prostitusi liar di berbagai daerah di Kota Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yaitu menggabarkan suatu fenomena yang terjadi dan berkembang di masyarakat (fenomenologi). Untuk mendapatkan  data-data penelitian dilakukan tehnik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, studi literatur dan observasi, dengan harapan mendapatkan data yang akurat. Adapun alat yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara. Tehnik analisis data yang didapatkan dari lapangan kemudian diolah melalui tahapn reduksi data, verifikasi data dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa prostitusi di Kota Medan oleh pelaku Pekerja Seks Komersial (PSK) adalah perbuatan melakukan hubungan seksual dengan cara berganti-ganti pasangan yang bukan istri atau suaminya dan dilakukan ditempat-tempat tertentu atau disebut lokalisasi seperti di hotel, tempat rekreasi, perkampungan dan lain-lain. Para PSK secara finansial mendapatkan keuntungan dari kegiatan yang mereka lakukan, sehingga menjadi sebuah ketergantungan untuk bekerja seperti itu. Keuntungan yang didapatkan menurut mereka sangat praktis, sehingga membuat ketagihan. Dalam praktiknya pemerintah kota Medan menerapkan kebijakan berupa penertiban para PSK melalui Dinas Sosial Kota Medan dengan melibatkan Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol-PP), pihak Kepolisian dari Polrestabes Medan. Pada prinsipnya setiap PSK yang sudah terjaring razia Pemerintah Kota Medan hanya melakukan pendataan dan pembinaan melalui siraman rohani, lalu dilepas kembali sehingga tidak memberikan efek jera. Data-data PSK yang tersebar di Kota Medan bukan hanya berasal dari wilayah Kota Medan, akan tetapi dari wilayah lain seperti Deli Serdang. Hambatan penanggulangan praktik prostitusi terutama disebabkan cakupan wilayah cukup luas terdiri dari 11 Kecamatan dan 144 Kelurahan, sehingga dalam penerapan kebijakannya belum efektif dikarenakan kegiatan razia dilaksanakan hanya bersifat insidentil dan para PSK merasa leluasa menjalankan aksinya. Ditambah lagi adanya informasi yang bocor ketika hendak dilakukan razia, sehingga para PSK bisa kabur terlebih dahulu.

Abstract

Infrastructure development is crucial in fostering economic growth. The development undertaken by the village government significantly influences the road infrastructure in Pulau Sejuk Village. With several damaged roads, the researcher was intrigued to explore the Role of the Village Head in Road Infrastructure Development in Pulau Sejuk Village and delineate the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Village Head's Role in Road Infrastructure Development. To address the research questions, the researcher employed Soekanto and Sulistyowati's (2017) theory, emphasizing planning, implementation, and monitoring. Data collection involved interviews, observations, documentation, and qualitative analysis following Sugiyono's (2010) methodology. The findings reveal that the village head's role in planning road infrastructure development has been well laid out, but its execution is pending. Direct or indirect supervision by the village head and village apparatus in road development has yet to materialize due to the absence of road repairs. The Village Head of Pulau Sejuk needs to pay closer attention to road development to ensure smooth infrastructure implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting research is to see the relationship between gender diversity (in the form of female leadership) on financial performance, the influence of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) on financial performance, as well as the effect of gender diversity on financial performance through environmental, social, and governance (ESG). . Stakeholder theory argues that companies should be accountable not only to their stakeholders (such as customers or employees), but also to their secondary stakeholders (such as social communities, local authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, non-governmental organizations. This research is a literature review which was carried out from various journal sources. The research results from the literature review conducted, show that there is a 75% link between gender diversity, ESG and the company's financial performance.
