Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh sertifikasi terhadap kinerja guru SMK  Negeri 2 Kisaran, dengan rumusan masalah yaitu apakah sertifikasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 2 Kisaran dan hipotesis sertifikasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kepustakaan dan penelitian langsung di lapangan menyebarkan angket, wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hubungan dengan metode kuantatif yaitu rumus korelasi product moment. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 33 guru. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data yang sudah diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan pengaruh yang signifikan antara sertifikasi dengan kinerja guru. Dengan nilai hasil hitung hubungan pengaruh sebesar 0,9 bila dikonsultasikan dengan tabel interprestasi berada pada antara 0,80 > 1,00 yang menyatakan hubungan sangat kuat. Jadi dengan demikian bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, yaitu sertifikasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang menghasilkan prosedur analisa yang tidak menggunakan analisis statistik. Data analisis kualitatif dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa peran pemimpin dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja karyawan di PT. Mestika Anugerah Semesta Medan dilakukan dengan cara memenuhi persyaratan diantaranya, interaksi sosial satu sama lain yang saling membantu dan membutuhkan sehingga tercipta lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan tentram. Dalam proses bersosialisasi dan berinteraksi, seorang pemimpin mampu memberikan dorongan atau semangat motivasi kepada para bawahan guna mencapai kinerja organisasi secara optimal dan dapat menimbulkan dorongan yang positif karyawan dalam bertindak.

Abstract

Communication process is a process that describes the inter-human communication activities that are interactive, relational, and transactional where communicators send messages to the communicant through a certain media with a specific purpose and purpose. The operation of SAR is related to saving human life when disaster occurs. Organizational communication and coordination seen in SAR operations handling sinking case of KM.  Kumala Endah where the distance of the location of the event far enough from the SAR Medan office, while the communication must continue to run during the SAR operation process takes place. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis method. This approach was chosen because the researchers wanted to obtain how the process of organizational communication in coordinating the implementation of SAR operations conducted SAR Medan office. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that organizational communication and coordination conducted by the head of Medan SAR office and rescuer team SAR Medan office during the operation handling case sinking of KM. Kumala Endah has gone well. Constraints faced by SAR team when handling KM.Kumala Endah sinking case is a big wave problem, dirty sea water that reduces the divers's visibility when dive searching for victims and disruption  of  reception  signal  via  HT  (HandyTalk)  but  everything  can  be overcome well.

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the activities that aim to assist the government in realizing a stable condition of peace and order in society that will encourage the creation of national stability which will ensure the smooth running of governance and the implementation of national development. The problems raised in this service are: (1) How is the existence of the Peace and Order Section in supporting local government programs in the Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency, (2) What efforts are made by the Peace and Order Section in carrying out their duties? the main tasks and functions, (3) What are the obstacles and obstacles faced by the Section for Peace and Order and how to overcome them. The results of this service show that the main tasks and functions of the Section for Peace and Order play an important role in assisting the main tasks of the Camat and Regional Heads ( Regent) in enforcing and implementing local government programs in the field of public peace and order at the sub-district level. One of them is to carry out routine patrol activities from morning, afternoon, to evening alternately. The efforts made and the obstacles faced and how to overcome them are divided into several fields, namely: the field of institutions, the field of networking, the field of counseling, the field of operations, the field of action, and ending with the field of routine anticipation.

Abstract

Community service is one of the activities aimed at assisting the government in society and local governments in disseminating Law no. 32 of 2004 concerning Local Government in Hamdan Village, Medan Maimun District, Medan City. The lack of understanding of the people of Hamdan Village, Medan Maimun District in the success of Law No. 32 of 2004. The results of this dedication show that the socialization of Law Number 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government and development progress and the success of existing development, must be disseminated to the community. One example of the community can directly experience the construction of road facilities and infrastructure that have repaired, as well as several developments in flood management and environmental cleanliness. The participation of the community in determining public policy, the higher the level of democracy in the country. In regional autonomy it is necessary to involve as many citizens as possible in determining public policy at the regional level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out and   understand   how the penetration stages are applied on their   dating relationship.  There are four of social penetration stages. First, is introduction stage. Second, is open up stage.  Third, ares commitment and comfort stage. Fourth, are formality, honesty, and intimacy stage. This research’s type is qualitative descriptive is data from interview, observation and documentation that have been done, then clearly described. The informant selection technique used in this research was “snowball technique”. The snowball technique are often used to find and recruit hidden informants, namely individuals who aren’t easily accessible to researchers through other informant selection techniques. The conclusion of this research was the three informants applied the all social penetration stages on their dating relationship with their babies’ father however, each stage should have a long time to process, it is applied too quickly by the three informants. Initially, the three informants only wanted to undergo dating relationship as in general without any sexual elements. But, one, two, three informants were forced to have intercourse with their babies’ father. The consequence, the three informants were very sorry for having premarital sex.

Abstract

The research is to know the extent to which the role of the General Elections Commission (KPU) the city of Medan in providing political education for persons with disabilities in the city of Medan and what obstacles or barriers of the General Elections Commission (KPU) the city of Medan in providing political education for persons with disabilities in the city of Medan.The method used is the method of qualitative. The results of the researchers is the Electoral Commission of the city of Medan it’s been carrrying out their duties, but is not maximized. The role of the General Elections Commission (the KPU) the city of Medan in providing political education for persons with disabilities in the city of Medan, which is held a discussion with persons with disabilities, making smart  house election, election of access for persons with disabilities, and enhance cooperation with the organization and the persons with disabilities in the city of Medan.The obstacles faced by the General Elections Commission (KPU) the city of Medan in providing political education for persons with disabilities, the constraint of internal Commission is combining between material and methods in the provision of political education, and constraint of exsternal the obstacles in the process of data collection the number of persons with disabilities.From the results of these studies can be picked up the conclusion that the General Elections Commission (KPU) the city of Medan carry out its role in providing political education for persons with disabilities in the city of Medan, though not for a maximum.

Abstract

Early childhood education is directed to facilitate the child's healthy growth and optimal development in accordance with the values, norms, and expectations of the community. The aim is to form quality children, ie children who grow and develop according to their level of development. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative approach that is describing the data obtained from the field and explain it in words. This study aims to determine the role of Dewantara Kindergarten in improving the quality of early childhood education in Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor District. Based on the data that has been collected can be seen from several factors, namely, norms, concepts, and individual behavior that has been used to see how the role performed by Dewantara Kindergarten. all factors went well, So with the role of kindergarten Dewantara, Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor District, it can improve the quality of early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication activities of the Karo District Tourism and Culture Office in increasing tourist visits and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Karo District Tourism and Culture marketing communication activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, a technique that describes, describes and interprets the object under study systematically so that researchers can find out how marketing communication activities through observation and in-depth interviews with informants. The results of this study are marketing communication activities carried out by the Karo Regency Tourism and Culture Office, namely Advertising, Sales Promotion, and Personal Selling. This activity is carried out to increase tourist arrivals, especially Bukit Gundaling. Supporting factors to attract tourist visits are the potential of Bukit Gundaling attractions such as the natural beauty and the cool air and the visible peak of Mount Sinabung. And also social media that are currently in demand by young people which facilitates the dissemination of information about the Bukit Gundaling tourist attraction. Barriers from the marketing communication activities of the Karo Regency Tourism and Culture Office are minimal budget, lack of coordination with other agencies, and infrastructure that must be improved.

Abstract

Training is to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of an apparatus so that they can carry out their duties and work well in the study of public administration, namely in policy making. This researcher is in the form of descriptive with a qualitative approach, namely describing the data obtained from the field and explaining it in words. This study aims to describe and analyze how effective the training is to increase the capacity of the apparatus in formulating policies in BPKAD, North Sumatra Province, and to identify what factors include obstacles in the implementation of training to increase the capacity of the apparatus in formulating effective policies. The phenomena in this study are the lack of interest of the apparatus in participating in the training, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support training for effective capacity building of the apparatus in policy-making at BPKAD, North Sumatra province.
