Abstract

Pemangku pemerintahan desa memegang peranan penting di dalam merumuskan kebijakan desa di Desa Busung, Seri Kuala Lobam, Bintan Kepulauan Riau.Kebijakan desa tersebut adalah peraturan desa, peraturan kepala desa, dan peraturan bersama kepala desa. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah soft skill pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi penyelenggara pemerintahan desa dalam hal merumuskan peraturan desa tentang pariwisata gurun telaga biru. Pelatihan dan pendampingan memberikan dampak positif pada pemangku pemerintahan desa dan kelompok masyarakat berupa meningkatnya pemahaman dan minat merekatentang bagaimana membuat perumusan peraturan desa untuk mengembangkan wisata desa. Dengan adanya masukan dan saran dari tim pengabdian membuat peserta lebih termotivasi, dan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberi kesadaran akan pentingnya peraturan desa untuk melindungi dam menertibkan desanya,serta dapat memperkuat kelembagaan pemerintahan desa yang lebih efektif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan teknik ceramah berupa pemberian materi dan praktek dengan pendampingan pembuatan peraturan desa beserta tahapan-tahapannya. Hasil dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini yakni para pemangku pemerintahan desa dan kelompok masyrakat memiliki ketrampilan lebih baik dalam merumuskan kebijakan desa dalam hal ini perumusan peraturan desa.

Abstract

This research aims to examine primordialism and voting behavior of Malay ethnic during the 2005-2015 Riau Islands governor election (Pemilihan Gubernur or Pilgub). The political phenomenon in Riau Islands seems to be different from other areas where other Malays dominate since non-Malay ethnic candidates won the governor election. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive technique. The data were collected using in-depth interviews and direct observation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The result found that people of Malay ethnic are open-minded. The candidates elected also can prove qualified personal and successfully leading the Malay ethnic people in moving ahead. Non-Malay ethnic won the Riau Islands (known as Kepri (Kepulauan Riau)) governor election determined by 1) The political identity of Malay ethnic people is open-minded, coexisting Islamic identity, speaking Malay language, practicing Malay culture, and committing to build and develop Malay ethnic people, so the candidates identified as part of Malay ethnic people and considered by the Malay ethnic people as a candidate for leader of the Malay people in a broadening sense; 2) the figure of candidates can socialize with people of Malay ethnic; 3) other minority ethnics and political parties supported the candidates. Native Malay candidates were failed due to the lack of contribution to the people of Malay ethnic in particular and the Riau Islands in general.

Abstract

Historical and cultural tourism directly provides fulfillment in the form that tourism is a place of recreation, learning and knowledge and becomes a symbol of the area. Of course, in every area that has its own tourist selling power, including historical and cultural tourism in Lingga Regency, it will attract tourists, both local and foreign tourists, to come. still limited facilities and infrastructure supporting tourists both public facilities and tourist facilities are still limited in terms of quantity and quality such as lodging, transportation and tourism information services, government coordination both with the government and the private sector. seen from the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by the Lingga District Tourism Office. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with 5 (five) research informants consisting of the Head of Tourism Promotion and Marketing, Lingga District Head, Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), and the public or visitors. In this study the techniques used are in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study using the theory of SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that: a) the strength of the Local Government of Lingga Regency is supported by historical and cultural tourism objects which are managed directly by the Lingga Regency Tourism Office. b) Weaknesses of the Lingga Regency Tourism Office can be seen from the not yet optimal supporting facilities and infrastructure, namely limited transportation, access to remote areas, and supporting facilities at tourist sites. c) Opportunities for the Tourism Office to collaborate with tour travel, and focus on development in several historical and cultural tourism sectors, namely the Mepar Tourism Village, the Damnah Palace Site, the tombs and the Sultan's Mosque. d) The threat from the Lingga Regency Tourism Office is the lack of interest of the local community to visit historical and cultural tourism destinations in Lingga Regency.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menyoroti perlunya perhatian khusus terhadap anak-anak yang tinggal di pulau ini, karena mereka sering menghadapi tantangan unik dan terbatasnya akses terhadap layanan pendidikan yang memadai. Dalam konteks ini, edukasi tentang hak anak menjadi sangat penting. Anak-anak di pulau ini memiliki hak yang sama dengan anak-anak di tempat lain untuk mendapatkan pendidikan berkualitas, kesehatan, perlindungan, dan partisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tulisan ini akan membahas strategi dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh sekolah menengah di Pulau Terluar Belakang Padang untuk memastikan bahwa hak-hak ini dihormati dan dipenuhi. Melalui penekanan pada edukasi hak anak, diharapkan para siswa di pulau ini dapat mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang hak-hak mereka, mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan sekolah, dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan mereka secara keseluruhan. Dengan meningkatnya kesadaran dan perhatian terhadap hak anak di sekolah menengah ini, diharapkan akan tercipta lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif, adil, dan berdaya guna bagi anak-anak di Pulau Terluar Belakang Padang.

Abstract

The Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone has been operational for over 15 years, but this area has yet to fully harness the potential and benefits of Free Trade Zone regulations due to the absence of a free port serving as a crucial connectivity node between the Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone, export destinations, and the hinterland area. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of Tanjung Moco Port as a Free Port within the Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, which involved literature reviews and interviews with BP Tanjungpinang Area officials and business stakeholders operating in the Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone. The study's findings reveal that maritime connectivity offers several advantages that align with the Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone's development plans. Through an analysis of needs and supply chains, the study underscores the significance of Tanjung Moco Port's existence to support logistics activities.
