Abstract

Breastfeeding is a natural process carried out by a mother to give nutrition for her baby directly from the breast. Some problems often occur during the process of breastfeeding, such as blisters on the nipples to mastitis. These problems cause the scope of exclusive breastfeeding not in accordance with the target set (90%). The success of breastfeeding highly depends on correct breastfeeding skills. This research aimed to determine the effect of breastfeeding assistanceon correct breastfeeding skills in primiparous postpartum mothers. This study was pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design, with a population of 30 primiparous postpartum respondents who met the inclusion criteria, using total sampling technique. The research instrument was a checklist for correct breastfeeding, the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank (a=0.05). The result of the research showed breastfeeding skill properly before assistance was unskilled (93.3%) with an average pretest value of 48.42 and after mentoring, the mothers were skilled (96.7%) with an average post-test of 82.25 with p-value 0.000. It means there is an effect of breastfeeding assistance to correct breastfeeding skills in primiparous postpartum mother. These results, it is expected that breastfeeding assistance can be used as a solution of successful program in giving breastfeeding.

Abstract

One of the efforts to prevent delays in handling complications is the birth planning and complications prevention program (P4K). If every pregnant woman implements P4K, it is hoped that if complications occur in her pregnancy, she will be able to handle it as early as possible. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the behavior of pregnant women in implementing P4K and the readiness of pregnant women to face complications in the Kedok Village, the working area of ??Puskesmas Turen. This study used a correlational study design with a cross-sectional approach, a population of 45 pregnant women, and the sampling using simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 40 pregnant women who had met the inclusion criteria, namely pregnant women who had received an explanation about P4K and already had P4K stickers, willing to be respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire on the behavior of pregnant women in implementing P4K and a questionnaire on the readiness of pregnant women to face complications. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a significance level of ? 0.05. The results showed a relationship between the behavior of pregnant women in implementing P4K and the readiness of pregnant women to face complications (p-value <0.001). Pregnant women can carry out P4K as an effort to increase the readiness of pregnant women in facing possible complications. Keywords: Pregnant Mother Behavior, P4K, Readiness, Complications

Abstract

The empowerment of women in the health sector can be categorized as one type of health development. The form of women's empowerment can be in the form of processing materials using the potential of local materials that have value. The target of this community service activity is the health cadres of Tegalweru Village, Dau, Malang Regency, as many as 20 people. This community service activity is carried out in the form of counseling and demonstrations as well as training for mothers with the lecture method, question, and answer, pre-test, post-test, and practice. The implementation of Community Service Activities went well with an increase in the average knowledge before and after being given counseling about the health benefits of oranges. In addition, the cadres were also very enthusiastic about the practice of making suction pudding made from oranges and orange peel tea. The provision of counseling can empower cadres who initially do not know to know. Besides that, training on making pudding and orange peel is also very useful for cadres who initially still cannot process existing local wisdom into being able to process them into appropriate materials. Abstract

This study aims to uncover and understand the application of the Shared Leadership pattern in managing PIER, to know the Shared Leadership model applied by management in managing PIER, and to reveal and understand the performance of PIER employees by applying the Shared Leadership pattern. This study uses a qualitative research method of a case study approach. The research informant is the department head and PIER staff. The research findings show that the application of Shared Leadership patterns in improving employee performance is derived from the themes contained in the attributes of Shared Leadership, including learning systems, leadership systems, and motivation systems. Shared Purpose, including personality, attitude, and ability. Social Support, including resources, organisational structure, organisational support, and awards. Voice, including expertise, perception, effort, and individual attributes. Shared purpose, social support and voice can create knowledge-sharing and work environments to improve employee performance. Further studies are needed on shared leadership in the same model applied to different objects.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a major source of morbidity and mortality in the world and is a complication of pregnancy. In Indonesia, the incidence of preeclampsia/eclampsia is 31.15% in all pregnant women. Preeclampsia often occurs in primigravida, pregnant women who are too young or too old, women with obesity, and a history of hypertension in pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women and to determine the dominant factors that cause preeclampsia in pregnant women. Literature review research method with traditional literature review design. The results of the literature search there were 13 journals analyzed entirely about the factors associated with the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women. Researchers conducted an analysis of 13 journals consisting of 10 national journals and 3 international journals obtained from the Google Scholar and Pubmed databases. The researcher determined the inclusion and exclusion criteria according to the research objectives. The conclusion in this study was that from 13 journals, it was found that the factors causing preeclampsia were parity factors, age factors, history of hypertension factors, nutritional status factors based on BMI and ANC visits. The dominant factor found is the age factor where the entire journal discusses the age factor as the cause of preeclampsia in pregnant women.

Abstract

Postpartum visits are carried out to monitor the health of the postpartum mother,detect early and prevent complications during the postpartum period which arecarried out at least 4 times. The target for postpartum visits in Malang Regency in2021 is still lacking, namely 88.32%. The purpose of this study was to describe thecharacteristics of postpartum mothers making postpartum visits at the clinic. Theresearch design is a quantitative descriptive. The research sample for postpartummothers was 38 people. the sample was selected by using purposive samplingtechnique. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The predisposing factorsstudied were knowledge and attitudes. The enabling factors studied were costs,access to transportation and distance; The reinforcing factor studied was familysupport.The results showed that 68% of postpartum mothers made 2 postpartum visits.Predisposing factors: 42% of postpartum mothers have sufficient knowledge and58% of postpartum mothers have a positive attitude towards postpartum visits. In theenabling factor variables, it was found that 100% of postpartum mothers usedpersonal costs for postpartum visits, 100% of postpartum mothers had easytransportation access and 74% of postpartum mothers were home to the clinic >3KM away. Supporting factors are known to be 61% of families of postpartum motherswho support mothers to make postpartum visits. Health workers need to increaseknowledge variables, encourage a more positive attitude of mothers and advocate forfamilies to support postpartum mothers in conducting postpartum visits

Abstract

Banyak masyarakat yang tidak tahu hak-hak reproduksi perempuan. Perempuan Lebih mudah membuat daftar kewajiban dari pada haknya (Amirrudin, 2003). Pengalaman responden untuk menentukan hak-hak reproduksi perempuan adalah bersifat subyektif (dirasa, dijalani) baik baru (1 tahun) maupun lama (24 tahun). Responden mengalami pernikahan dini yaitu pernikahan di usia remaja (16-19 tahun). Penelitian di Desa Gunungrejo kecamatan Singosari Kabupataen Malang, dengan waktu Agustus sampai dengan Novembar 2018. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data snowball sampling. Sampel berjumlah 10 ibu menikah dini, tidak dilanjutkan kepada suami dan ibu kandung perempuan karena data dirasa cukup. Data dianalisis phenomenology kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk naratif/ tekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: hampir seluruh responden terpenuhi (hak menjalani kehidupan reproduksi (hamil/ melahirkan/ nifas), kehidupan seksual yang sehat, aman, bebas dari paksaan/ kekerasan dari suami; hak ibu menentukan kehidupan reproduksi (hamil/ melahirkan/ nifas), bebas dari diskriminasi, paksaan/ kekerasan, menghormati nilai-nilai luhur, tidak merendahkan martabat manusia, sesuai dengan norma agama; hak menentukan sendiri kapan (hamil/ melahirkan), menentukan jumlah anak, jarak kelahiran, KB sehat secara medis, tidak bertentangan dengan norma agama). Sebagian besar dari responden terpenuhi hak memperoleh informasi, edukasi, dan konseling mengenai kesehatan reproduksi yang benar dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of incompatibility between a child height and age. Stunting problem is a matter that needs to be considered because it can reduce one productivity, so that it will produce poor human resources. Poncokusumo Subdistrict is one of areas where stunting is still high, 1.941 toddlers with 59,7 percent short category and 40,3 percent too short category. This study aims to determine the determinants factors of the stunting case in children aged 13 until 24 months in the Village of Community Health Centre Work Area of Poncokusumo. The populations used were 86 children, while the samples were 71 stunting children aged 13 until 24 months in the Village of Community Health Centre Work Area of Poncokusumo. The distributions of children each posyandu in each village were Gubugklakah Village namely 8 children, Karangnongko Village namely 25 children, Belung Village namely 21 children, Ngebruk Village namely 16 children, Pajajaran Village namely 1 child. Sampling in this study used the propotionate startified random sampling technique with a retrospective approach. The research instrument used interview sheets and documentation studies on the KIA book, then it would be analyzed using descriptive analysis with the results that half of the respondent mother education were junior high school namely 50.7 percent and almost half of the respondents did not get Exclusive ASI namely 54.9 percent, and almost half of the respondents did not get MP ASI correctly namely 56.3 percent. Intervention is needed that focus on maternal and child health to reduce the stunting case, and to foster maternal awareness of the importance of Exclusive ASI and the Accuracy of giving MP ASI to children through counseling

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth complications are the leading causes of death among women of reproductive age worldwide. One of the government efforts to reduce MMR and IMR is through the Maternity Planning and Complications Prevention Program or P4K. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the behavior of pregnant women in implementing P4K and the readiness of pregnant women to face complications. This research uses a cross sectional approach correlational study design. The number of samples in this study was 40 respondents with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data processing using computerization. The results of measuring the behavior of pregnant women in the implementation of P4K, most of the pregnant women had poor behavior, while the readiness of pregnant women to face complications, namely half of pregnant women were ready to face complications and the other half were not ready to face complications. pregnant women to improve their behavior in implementing P4K by always carrying out and being active in all activities related to P4K so that pregnant women have readiness to face the possibility of complications that may occur at any time
