Abstract

The aim of this research is to modify the environment that lacks water, especially during the dry season. The study was conducted by taking into account the conditions in Merauke-Papua where during the dry season water becomes a limiting factor in crop cultivation activities. The study was conducted at the Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Musamus University, Merauke in September to December 2013, designed in a Randomized Block Design consisting of 4 treatments for Water Provision Intervals and BioVAM with 3 replications so that there were 12 experimental units. Each experimental unit contained 12 plants and used 50% of them as sample plants. The results showed that the Water Delivery Interval affected the growth and production of tomato plants. The treatment of water every day produces the best growth and production compared to other treatments, but because the study is directed to address water as a limiting factor in the dry season, for the cultivation of tomato plants, water supply is recommended to be carried out at intervals of no more than 3 days. Production of tomatoes produced from the treatment of water every day is 6221.43 g per plot (10.369 tons per hectare), the treatment of giving water every third day is 3205.47 g per plot (5.342 tons per hectare), from the treatment of giving water every the fifth day was 1205.85 g per plot (2,009 tons per hectare), and the production resulting from the treatment of water every seventh day was 590.50 g per plot (0.984 tons per hectare). The results of this study do not yet reflect the actual situation in the field, so it is necessary to conduct a similar study in the field with a tighter treatment interval and a more appropriate volume of water. Abstract

AbstractPenelitian tentang Penggunaan Metode Eksperimen pada Pem6elajaran Materi sistim reproduksi vegetative buatan pada tumbuhan bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar pesertadidik . .             . . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan metode pembelajaran eksperimen pada materi sistim reproduksi vegetative buatan pada tumbuhan. Subyek Penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester 1 tahun ajaran 2019/2020 Jurusan Peternakan Universitas Musamus dengan jumlah pesertadidik sebanyak 33 pesertadidik Rentang nilai lulusan menurut Jurusan Peternakan Universitas Musamus adalah sebagai berikut 80 – 100 = A, 70-79 = B, 60-69 = C. 50-59 = D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan terhadap Jumlah persentase ketuntasan belajar pesertadidik yaitu dari 45% meningkat menjadi 85% dan jumlah presentase pesertadidik yang tidak tuntas berkurang dari 55% menjadi 15%. Nilai rata-rata pesertadidik juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,40 meningkat menjadi 72,5. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa metode pembelajaran eksperimen efektif digunakan terhadap hasil belajar biologi khususnya pada materi sistim reproduksi vegetative buatan pada tumbuhan mahasiswa smster satu jurusan peternakan universitas musamus. Kata-kata kunci: Metode, Eksperimen, Biologi.

Abstract

Integration efforts generally have the main goal of increasing the production and productivity of both cattle and rice plants. Increased production and productivity will be in line with the increase in the income of farmers and will ensure the sustainability of the agribusiness system activities. The main objective of implementing integration is to increase cattle and rice plant production. The increase in production will correspond to an increase in the income of farmers and breeders, ensuring the sustainability of the agribusiness system. The purpose of this quantitative research was to evaluate the income of the cattle business integrated with rice farming. The method used was a survey with Stratified Random Sampling technique and the location chosen was Semangga because it is one of the districts in Merauke Regency with the highest rice production where the majority of the farmers integrate cattle and rice farming businesses. In this research, the population consisted of farmers as well as breeders who work together. Primary and secondary data were employed with income analysis followed by R/C Ratio analysis. In conclusion, the cattle business integrated with rice farming has the potential to be a commercial business because it can increase farmers' income by IDR 34,434,752 within one year with an R/C of 1.90.Keywords: cattle, income, integration, rice business

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis adaptasi atau penyesuaian 3 (tiga) galur padi yang diuji dengan 2 (dua) varietas pembanding pada lahan salin di Kampung Bokem. Penggunaan varietas toleran merupakan salah satu cara yang paling efektif untuk memanfaatkan potensi lahan salin dalam upaya meningkatkan produksi padi nasional. Luas lahan salin diAsia sekitar 21,5 juta ha, 12 juta ha diantaranya bersifat salin dan 9,5 juta ha bersifat alkaline. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), mengunakan 5 (lima) perlakuan dan di ulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga di peroleh 20 satuan percobaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tidak ada Galur yang mati akibat cekaman salinitas, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa seluruh Galur yang diikutkan dalam percobaan ini dianggap cukup toleran terhadap salinitas. Pertubuhan galur terbaik adalah galur 10 dengan jumlah anakan produktif 20,03 batang serta produksi terbaik adalah galur 5 dengan produksinya 4,75 ton/ha Kata Kunci: Merauke, Salinitas, Varietas.
